The man who was stunned by my compliment stayed there for a while before letting out a laugh.

"Well, if ol' granny over here decided to back out of her agreement, then you can count on me to get you an instrument, any kind you'd like."

The woman clicked her tongue and playfully slapped him.

"And since when have I backed out of an agreement?"

"Ah? Don't you remember when you said you bring it back by the-"

"We already agreed that doesn't count! Besides, I was late by ten minutes!"

The man burst out into laughter. Rubbing his eyes because he was tearing up. The third guy looked at me with a slightly bitter smile.

"Anyway, would you like to hear what the instruments are supposed to be used for, their music?"

It sounded like he was one of the more saner people. I gave a small nod.

"Sure. I wonder how different it sounds compared to traditional instruments."
