CHAPTER 208:COMING WITH YOU.
After another one hour of struggling on the road with the traffic jam, they arrived home.
"I think tomorrow I will hire a florist I was t some flowers to be planted outside the gate." Ivana said as she pointed at the place she needed flowers to be planted.
"Ivana, look at that car," Mish called as she got hold of her hand.
"Mmh what car?" She asked.
"That one can't you see it, it have driver out from the gate of the mansion." Mish said.
"Are you sure?" She asked.
"Why should I lie to you, you can ask Charo." Mish said.
"Yes ma'am, it came out of the mansion,I wonder who she was." Charo said.
"Maybe some customers who want their gowns to be made by you." Mish said.
"No Mish, that car belongs to my mother in-law, since the day I divorced her son. This is the first time I am seeing her car near my house." I ana replied.
"Maybe she wanted to talk to you and solve the issue between you. You know the company have started to pick up, it's doing well." Mish said.
"I really don't care about the company and I am not ready to be someone's wife again. I guess in two months time I will be a mother and that one is enough stress for me. So incase she asks you, just te her that you haven't seen me in two months now and you don't know where I am." Ivana said as she stepped out of the car. Immediately the car stopped, she didn't wait Charo to open the car door for her.
She walked inside the mansion hurriedly she wanted to confirm if indeed her mother inlaw have visited her.
Fortunately for her, she found Milka in the sitting room.
"Ma'am Ivana you have arrived? Your mother inlaw was here." Milka reported.
"What did she wan?" Ivana asked skeptically as she sat on the couch.
"She said that she came to visit you and check how you were doing. I told her that you were out for shopping, I am sorry I didn't know what to tell her ma'am. So I told her to wait for you but she said she was in hurry she will drop by next time when she have time." Milka apologized.
"Nothing to worry about Milka, I already talked to her. Now go on and prepare dinner faster I am tired and I want to rest." Ivana said.
"You mean dinner is not ready? Yet they came home very early? Mila said immediately she overheard what I ana said.
Milka just bowed her head and left for the kitchen. Mish was so angry with the fact that Milka ignored her question. She just smirked and told Ivana, " Sis you think to reprimand this maids look they are just lazing around, you know pregnant women should not be left hungry for a long time."
When she noticed that Ivana was not paying her attention. She smirked again and said, "I will be in my room,"
"Come down for dinner after one hour Mish, I know you are tired so just freshen up and relax okay." She said as she went through the text that Paul had sent her early that morning.
'So you send your mother to spy on me right? I will have to move to a new place. I can't let her know that I am carrying her grandkids.' Ivana thought.She leaned at the couch and as usual when she have alot on her mind she dozed off.
After an hour Milka brought in dinner and arranged the table, she went and called Mish before coming and waking up Ivana.
"Woow I didn't even know that I have slept here on the couch." She said the yawned out loudly.
"I think you are fatigued again, I think you need a good rest Ivana." Mish said.
"You are right Sis, but I have this crazy idea of moving to town so that I don't stress myself travelling to the shop and coming back whenever I feel tired." She said.
"Ivana getting rest have nothing to do with you living at the outskirts of the town."
"But Mish I can't leave those girls to work alone, I will be restless, atleast I want to supervise them. I know you can do that for me but I don't want to overwork you. I know how a company marketing position can be demanding. Something else if I move to town I will be moving easily from town to the house very easily and anytime I want.
"So what are you suggesting?" Mish asked as she looked at her.
"I will be moving to town tomorrow, I will search for an apartment to live in for time being before I give birth." Ivana said.
The main reason of moving to an apartment in town is not about work and supervising the girls. The main reason was to hide from her mother in-law. Paul had mentioned to her in the text that she sent his mother to check on her. So she didn't want anyone knowing that she is pregnant.
" I guess I will be coming with you, I can't live here with the maids alone and I can't leave you alone now that you are about to deliver." Mish commented.
"Woow, thank you Mish for always being there for me."
They finished eating their dinner and went to their recepective room to sleep. When she arrived at her room she freshen up before going to bed. She checked her mobile phone and found a missed call and a text message from Mrs Wechuli.
"Hey I come visiting you but I guess you were not at home. I will visit you again in the course of this week. I know alot have happened and it have been long , let's catch up over a Rendez Vous apple wine," that was the text from Mrs Wechuli.
"Sorry Mrs Wechuli, i don't want to see and I wish never to see you in my life again." She murmured to herself as she entered her bed, reduced the bed lamp light brightness and closed her eyes gently.
