CHAPTER 207:CUSTOMIZED GOWN

"No problem ma'am I will tell Charo to take us to the market."Milka said.

"No you are taking a taxi back home, I don't want you to be late for the market and grocery store. Remember Charo is going to pick Mish from the company before he comes back for us. With the evening traffic Jam, you will be late."

"It's okay ma'am." Milka nodded.

"Okay I am giving you ten minutes to finish what you are doing." Ivana said.

After ten minutesthe girls finished what they were doing and parked everything. Ivana handed Milka her credit card, she trust her to the point of she knows her pin and the amount that credit card holds.

Ivana was left behind in the shop, she made herself busy by checking the gowns that her girls were making. She was satisfied because there was no mistake made.

She smiled to herself and thought,'I guess I will have to increase your salary, your work is very incredible.'

Charo left to pick up Mish as promised from the company before he returns to the mall to pick up Mish.

After picking up Mish, he drove back to the mall, the traffic Jam was at it's pick and Mish was bored with the fact that they have to go back to the mall before going home.

"I wish you could have taken those girls at home before coming for me in the company. By now we could have diverted to the road leading to the mansion." Mish lamented.

"I am sorry Ma'am Mish but we are going to the mall to pick up Ma'am Ivana. She is the one who told me to come for you before picking her up." Charo said politely.

"Ivana you said? Today she went to work? I guess Ivana is just sturbon. The doctor told her to take much rest but she doest want to listen." Mish said.

"She visited the doctor today before coming to her shop. I guess she is fine because if she was not she will be at home now." Charo answered.

This was there first time they were having positive conversation. Before then they used to be silent in the car, and their first encounter was not a nice one.

After one hour of crazy traffic Jam,they arrived at the mall. A place that Charo always uses twenty minutes to the maximum, he had used an hour. So Mish decided to call Ivana and inform her that they were at the mall.

Ivana closed her shop and walked out of the mall slowly. Her baby bump was so big and so heavy that's what slowed her walking pace. Charo came out of the car and opened the car door for her. She sat in and fixed her seatbelt. 

"Mish how are you?" Ivana asked.

"I am good just worried about you Ivana, you came to work? You are very stubborn." Mish said.

"I am fine, I visited my obstetrician today and he said that there's nothing to worry. What I am needed to do is resting much." She said.

"So your resting is coming to work?" Mish asked looking at her.

"I was just bored at home that's why I came here, but I swear I was just seated in the shop.i was not doing anything." 

At this time Charo wanted to apologise about the traffic but he didn't no how burge into their conversation. So he decided to just call Ivana and apologize, before he start driving.

"Ma'am Ivana I am ....

Charo was about to apologise when Ivana said, "I do understand Charo that the traffic Jam is the reason. I guess I will have to tell Lily when she returns from her honeymoon. She should tell her father that we need bypasses and flyovers to reduce this traffic Jam." Ivana said.

"Yeah, that's a good idea I know you have become good friends with Lily after making her wedding trend." Mish said.

"Do you think I was the reason why it trended?" Ivana asked.

"It's because if the evening gown you mend her that made it to trend. Do you know that people and the TV stations that covered her wedding event were having a comparison about the two dresses." Mish said.

"What I didn't know that." Ivana said.

"I guess soon you are going to be the Victoria Beckham of Kenya. I can't imagine that even our CEO was talking about that!" Mish said.

"You mean my ex mother in-law? What did she say?" Ivana asked anxiously.

"She was comparing about the two gowns. She said that Lily should have used her evening gown to walk down the isle then the other one for evening party or reception. Because most people are interested in Church activities than the reception. She said that if one day you will want to have a church wedding with her son she will ask Lily the designer of that gown to design it for you." Mish said surprising Ivana 

"Woow, so Paul didn't tell his mother that we divorced. Maybe I will design the wedding gown for the woman Paul will marry next." She said.

"Woow you are willing to do that?" Mish asked astonished.

"Why not? I will be paid handsomely to do that. It's not like I will be designing the gown for free so yes I will," Ivana answered.

"She was saying the way the designer was experienced and must have earned good money in doing that. At the back of my mind I was like this woman doesn't know that her farmer daughter in-law is the one behind that gown. I wonder what her reaction might have been if I would have told her that?" Mish questioned.

"Just keep it a mystery, beside Lily's evening gown is customized so I can't make a similar gown like has to.someone else. I will be sued, because I was paid to customized it." Ivana replied.

"Yeah I know that Sis, and I won't do anything stupid that will jeopardize your dream and work.
