CHAPTER 137:FINALLY DIVORCED

Milka didn't want to choose the mobile phone for herself because she was not sure if Ivana will be willing to buy expensive an  phone for her despite the fact that Ivana had already promised her.

So she was contemplating on approaching one of the sellers to help her select a good mobile phone. She was afraid because some of the sellers could encourage her to buy an expensive phone that has the same features just like the cheapest one from the same model or company.

But before she could decide on what to do, one of the seller approached her.

"Hey ma'am we can help you chose a perfect sumsang mobile phone for you." The seller said when he saw the confusion in Milka's face.

"Between Samsung galaxy tablet and sumsang S10 phone which one do you prefer?" The seller showed them to her. Before Milka could decide on anything she turned back and looked at Ivana who was some two steps away from where they were. Ivana nodded at her giving her a signal to decide on her own because money was not a problem to her.

"I think I will go for S10 note because the tablet will be too heavy in my hands and also too large to fit intoy palms and also my handbag" She said with enthusiasm.

"Samsung S10 note goes for thirty thousand Kenyan shillings"the seller said.

Milka exclaimed with much surprise because she never knew that a phone can be that expensive almost twice her salary. She stepped back and murmured the price to Ivana.

"Tell them to pack it for you" she said to her politely.

"Are you serious, thank you so much Ivana" Milka thanked Ivana several times then told the seller that she is buying that phone.

Before Ivana could pay with her credit card because she didn't have enough with her cash at that time. She asked for the receipt and the warranty period of the device, both parties signed it. She wanted to be sure that if the device has any problem or will have any damage then  they will be compensated according to the warranty period stated.

"Thank you for trusting and buying from us ma'am" the seller said as she handed them the mobile phone well wrapped in their branded shopping bag.

"Sure thing" Ivana said as they left with Milka.

Charo opened the car for them then accelerated the car to Ivana's mansion.

"I think Charo you will drive abit faster when we branch to the feeder road to our home" Ivana said to Charo, her driver.

"Yes ma'am"

"I am hungry and tired I think I need to rest." She turned to Ivana who was still admiring her new phone and asked her, "is there any food in the kitchen? I don't think I will be patient enough to wait for the food to be cooked"

"Only mango juice was left, will you be comfortable to take juice as you wait for me too cook for you?" Milka enquired.

She chuckled softly before saying, " I will have to, now that we are already out of town I can't go back to the restaurant"

"I will cook for you, before I cook for the workers" Milka said.

"But that will be tiresome, are you not feeling hungry?"

"I am, like we are it's already lunchtime, but you know you need to attended for first, our BOSS" she stressed the word boss.

"You are funny Milka, that's why I told you to look for someone who will be helping you"

"I will help her today ma'am because I am hungry too" Charo said and avoided their eye contact in the mirror.

"The hunger will make you step in the kitchen today" Milka said as she smiled to Ivana.Charo just chuckled softly and continued driving.

"By the way what to do you want for lunch,Ivana?"Milka enquired when they were almost arriving home.

"I think fried rice will be okay for me, For you guys you can cook what you want for lunch." Ivana told her.

When they reached home, Ivana picked her cold juice from the fridge then left for her room. She removed her shoes and wore something comfortable before she checked the envelope. She pulled out the divorce papers and went through the important clauses.

Although some of the requirements when divorced was that; Paul will have to give her a 30% of his wealth. But since Ivana didn't acquire that wealth when they were married she decided that she will not stress him. What she wanted was only his signature not his wealth, maybe she is more wealthy than him.

So she opened where Paul had signed and a tear dropped from her eyes. "Am I that useless Paul, you just signed the divorce papers without even putting up a fight" she murmured to herself.

'I really didn't have an impact on your life Paul, for three years. I was that useless, I wish dad was a live. He will be giving me answers to all my questions' she thought as she returned the divorce papers in the envelope then locked them in her wardrobe drawer. 'Finally I am divorced even if you haven't put up a fight for it' She thought as she looked at a ring on her finger. She thought for removing a ring Paul had bought her one time but then decided against it.

She was not ready to answer questions from people who will be ready to judge her for being pregnant and not married or having anengagement ring. So she just left the ring on her finger for that purpose.

She returned to bed and she was almost lying down on it when Milka knocked on the door and entered immediately. "The food is ready and remember to take your Vitamin supplements too"

"I almost forgot that I haven't eaten lunch yet." Ivana said as she looked for the vitamin supplements.

She followed Milka downstairs carrying the vitamin supplements in her hands.

"Woow the aroma is alluring" Ivana said when she reached downstairs.

"Bon appetit Mademoisellee" Milka said in french then run to the kitchen.
