CHAPTER 138:BACK TO WORK.

So the following day after three days of recuperation Paul decided to go work. He had missed his workers judging from his enthusiasm to get to work. He woke up so early in the morning and that day he prepared his own coffee. Something that surprised his mother Mrs Wechuli to the core. 

Since he was born that was the first time she was seeing her son in the kitchen preparing coffee. 

"Hey son,do you have a job interview or what?" Mrs Wechuli joked.

"No actually I have an appointment with myself, I have missed my office, my workers and most importantly my role as the boss" he stated to his mother clearly.

"That's great son, but when are you going to miss her?"

"Mum, please don't start it now. I am not ready for that conversation" he said serious face.

"Will you be ready then? I miss Ivana and I know you do so just find away of convicing her to come back home"

"How can I miss someone who is ready to divorce me, ease mum stop spoiling my mood these morning" he said as he walked past his mother towards the sitting room.

"That's why I am telling you, you need to convince her woe her, then you won't see that divorce" Mr Wechuli followed him to the seating room.

"Not now mum!"

"When son?"

Mum, see you later in the evening I have to go to I am getting late" he said the run out of the house. Leaving his mother looking at him.

He entered his hybrid car, the door was already opened for him by his driver, then left.

When he reached the company, he was abit early the normal reporting hours was eight o'clock in the morning but Paul had arrived a quarter to eight. At that time the supporting staffs were cleaning the offices. Most of them were surprised by the fact that their boss have arrived very early than usual.

"Good morning,he greeted them as he walked towards his private elevator.

"Good morning boss."

"Hello boss"

"Good morning boss"

They replied him as the giggled, who wouldnt be happy to be greeted by their boss while working.

"I wonder why the boos is looking so happy this morning."

"The boss greeted me,"

"You are not alone he greeted almost everyperson he passed by"

"He was absent for three days now, I don't where he was,?

"Maybe he was spending quality time with his wife"

The worker started clamoring about their boss when they confirmed that he had already taken the elevator to his office.

When Paul arrived in his office, everything was neatly arranged. You could think that nobody had used his office for the passed three days. 'You must be a very organised man' he though about his secretary whom he gave permission to use his office.

What he found strange was that the company seal was on the table. Infact on top of his laptop,he looked at it then trying remembering if I'd used it and forgot to keep it.

The company seal was only used when signing important documents and contracts. So he wondered who have used the seal. If it was about the contract, he didn't remember his secretary telling him anything concerning a contract. And there was no way his secretary will sign a contract without his permission.

So he returned it at the place where he always keeps it. What he didn't know was that the company seal was used to signing his divorce papers.

So the workers started arriving and swiping their card in employees identification machine to show that they have reported.

"I don't know if the boss will be coming today?" Slyvia said with concern.

"Why do you ask, atleast when the boss is not here we gate to relax abit. You know you are a newly recruit so you don't understand how the boss pressurize us" her colleague said as they entered the lift to their office.

So when Slyvia arrived at her department, she walked towards her desk and looked at the work she had for that day. Since she didn't have much to do on that day, she decided to check on boss's secretary. She wanted to enquired when the boss will be coming back.

She remembered a day ago she had called Paul, she wanted to ask him why he was absent form the company for almost one week. But Paul had the audacity to not picking up her calls. Something that made her super angry that evening.

She had planned on calling her campus friend and share with her perfect news. She wanted to tell her that finally she had managed to get her man back. But since Paul didn't pick the call, she didn't call her friend. She didn't want to take her anger to her best friend.

 So she entered the elevator and pressed the boss office floor.As she was used to, she just walked in the office not knowing that the boss himself was back.

"Hey did you....

"Alas! How can you just barge in my office without permission. You didn't even bother to knock on the door?" Paul asked angrily. He was still angry at her, now that she managed to separate Paul and Ivana.Paul remembered her words as they played in his head,"if I can't have you, no one will"

Slyvia was still standing like a statue not knowing if she should go back and knock the door before entering or what. She was still contepleting on what to do when Paul asked her. 

"What are you still doing in my office? Leave?" She almost banged his table but managed to restrain his hand midway.

"Paul will you please listen to what I had to say. Why are you so angry at me handsome"

Slyvia, my name is boss when we are at work. You will only call me by my first name when we stepp outside the compound, these compound" Boss emphasized.

Slyvia left without turning to look at Paul.
