Without help
Leo was having a bad time. He had to manage the servers and fix various bugs in software. He also had to beta read papers for his employer. That guy did not even care to check to put the proper punctuation. He only seemed to care about astronomical stuff since all he talked about the universe, Big Bang and all that stuff.
His employer worked in developing supercomputers and mainly dealt with increasing the processors. At this time and age those types of Jobs were extremely important as the entire community was built around them. They helped a lot in prediction of various resources and the management of every sector of life. Their dependency was reducing after the first successful mining trip on the asteroids of space 15 years ago. Since then it became common for countries to fight for the mining rights of asteroids close to Earth.
Today was particularly bad since their country's servers were attacked several times. He had to manually connect to the servers to check for it. He went down to the basement and after getting cleared by armed guards he entered the heart of the system.
There was an influx of information onto the servers and the prime suspect was server overloading. Here they tried to overwhelm and slow down the processors by passing a lot of information through them.
He double checked the results with a frown. He had no idea about who got access to the mainframe and managed to push the memory capacity from 37% all the way to 86%. With such an influx of data in such a short time it was overheating. He tried to delete the data but he was unable to.
He manually checked for the regions they were present in and unplugged the area. This was the last option he had before going to his boss. He managed to isolate the information but he was still unsuccessful. It seemed to have an high level AI attached to it which made little sense.
He started to head back to the entrance to call his boss when he heard a bang. The last thing he remembered was a flash of light and then it was nothing.

'He came close to discovering the void dimension' a voice said.
Another voice spoke up, 'One of us kept trying to keep him from figuring out. I felt the influence on the government to find and destroy him.'
Another voice added in, 'They broke the law by directly interfering in the zero influence world. They even stole a soul from me, or atleast a part of it.'
'I did it okay? Void should remain unknown forever.' the distorted voice spoke with contempt.
An amused voice spoke, 'You will be punished for it. While you were busy destroying every bit of that knowledge you managed to miss a part of it. The barest hint of the soul latched on to one of those who died.'
The distorted voice got higher, 'Then let's destroy it. It's drive towards void shold not exist.'
The amused voice spoke again, 'Unfortunately that's not your decision. He has already gone onto his next life after I gave him rebirth. I also gave him a.... small gift by taking his desires into account.'
The distorted voice seemed to yell, 'You had no rights to do that.'
'Enough.' An authoritarian voice spoke, 'Both of you stepped out of bounds. We are to never interfere with those seeking the void. *$&!$*@ will be punished for this by spending #%**@( in complete stasis. Whereas &!*$(## will be left free since it did not stop the seeker from his path. For now he is off limits. Meeting adjourned.'
The voice left along with its presence and the pressure on the other entities lifted.
'Can IT ever stop using our real names.' A voice mused out.
Another voice replied, 'you know that IT won't'

Leo was not quite sure about what to do. He was quite confused as to what happened when he woke up in the hospital. They had told him that his parents had died in a car crash. The police came and asked questions but he simply replied that he did not remember. He only started to get a bearing when he entered the orphanage. He was reborn in another world as a child. He got more anxious when he saw the year and realized that he was stuck in the past. He was a few hundred years into the past and things just became even more worse.
With so much repeating content in media, it became more common for studios to idolize their best films and redo it. The most famous ones were the DC and Marvel movies. The main reason was due to ho vast the universe was. He realized that he was stuck in one when he saw the news talking about the renewed contract between Stark Industries and the army.
Things became even more crazy when I slept properly for the first time.

This was a big surprise since only the nine main regions are shown. I remember there being dozens of games showing past and future of the regions. They even added tons of games that dealt with travelling to various dimensions. Thankfully they did not add in all of those here. Only the OG main regions were present.
Seeing that only Kanto was available I chose that region. I zoomed into that region and ended up in a building. I could see Professor Oak talking about Pokemon to me and two other people. He then turned to us and said, "Please choose between the three starters Charmander the fire pokemon, Squirtle the water pokemon and Bulbasaur the grass type pokemon. If none of them are to your liking come find me and I will give you another shocking pokemon."
That pun is so bad. For hundreds of years the company had the pokemon as a mascot and it looked like it would never change. While Raichu is good I like the other starters more.
Venusaur is a safe option and is the only decent grass type in the first generation. Blastoise is more balanced and is a personal favorite of mine. Charizard is another cool option. In the end I decided to go for Charmander. I could always get a water type by getting a Gyarados and Bulbasaur was never really the coolest option. I could have gone for squirtle but I decided not to.
I chose the option and I received a charmander. I was about to release it when everything went black. I started hearing intense beeping and I tried to switch off the alarm. When I couldn't find I got more frustrated and swung my hand in the direction to hear a scraping noise.
I opened my eyes to look at the wooden stand beside me having scratch marks. My fingers glowing white were slowly receding. I looked at the orphanage room and back at my hands. I had superpowers.
