Rank-Up and Quest 2

After getting registered as adventurers, Hope and Jess then asked the receptionist to add them to Vance's party. After this process was over Vance began to speak to the receptionist.

"You know, we keep coming to you to do our guild stuff but I still don't know your name. Can you tell me what it is?"

"My name is Sarah. And at this point I might as well be your exclusive receptionist. Honestly, why do you always bring crazy things to me. You're gonna drive me crazy."

"Hehe. I apologize for all the trouble we're going to bring you. Ah, that reminds me of what we came here for. Can we get the rewards and such from the herb collection quest?"

The receptionist, Sarah, sighed at this and suddenly seemed tired.

"Of course you can. I still can't believe how much you brought. Dealing with that whole case was exhausting."

"Sorry about that. I kinda got in the zone turning those in. I never really turned them all in either."

"Well it's too late to take it back now. Might as well move on. Here's the reward. You turned in 200 herbs with a reward of ten copper for each set of five which makes for... 400 copper coins or four silver ones. That is an outrageous amount to earn in one go from herb collection. It is very rare that someone picks that many at once... Wait? Did you say you didn't turn them all in?"

"Hmm? Ah, yes I did say that, but it's fine. Four silver is a pretty good reward. Wait, that reminds me, what about the rank ups?"

"Well, technically speaking, you completed the same quest forty times in one go, so in other words: you've completed ten quests to rank up to D Rank and I believe with the other thirty in your case we can rank you up to C Rank even if you didn't do any subjugation quests due to your capturing of a whole bandit lair. It may not have been turned into the guild, but it does show that you at least have that much combat prowess considering that that bandit lair was classified as a C Rank level threat."

"So Celine, Alice, and I ranked up to C?"

"Yes that is the case. Now normally at this point you would be a C Rank party but since you have two F Ranks we can't completely class you as so. Therefore my recommendation is for you to take some quests to rank them up."

"Good idea Sarah. Well then, c'mon girls, it's time for a new quest."

After Vance said this he lead the girls over to the quest notice board and began to discuss the next quest they would take with them.
