Mera Mera No Mi

(A/N: So I just want to clear something before a new chapter, many were asking how the heck the mc didn't know ace? Didn't he have the knowledge of one piece? The answer for that my friends is, that The Mc indeed has the knowledge but did I write that he watches anime, No.

What he has is the general knowledge of the world, he knows ace as a son of white beard and a part of his crew while also being the key to the start of the war of the best but he never knows his look. Like he also knows Boa Hancock is the most beautiful woman in the world and her beauty can petrified the people but he did not know what she looks like.

All he has is general and important knowledge, after all, there are so many people that have the same name so he can't connect the ace he meets who acts like an idiot to the ace who is one of the members of a Yonko.)

[ Sixis Island ]

Slowly the fruit goes into Ace's mouth and Mark can't waste to see his reaction to its taste, they are brothers right so they should experience everything together hehehehe.

But unfortunately for him, ace eats it like nothing just frowning a bit.

"What the heck dude how can you eat it like that didn't it have a taste that makes you want to puke it out!" Mark shouted with confusion written all over his face.

(A/N: I saw this in the wiki and I'm quite confused normally the characters of one piece would hate its taste but there are some characters who eat it like nothing. Like Ace and Luffy I only have a theory that if you eat a devil fruit fated or compatible for you, you would not face its rejection in a way of it having bad taste.)

Ace looks confused and answers "it just tastes bland what are you ranting about?

Mark can't believe it his fruit taste shit and ace tastes bland the unfairness of the world was proven once again.

The duo only looks at Mark with a weird seeing his look turn from a scheming one to a shocked look to an expression like the world forsaken him.

Suddenly ace body started to burn and his eyes lost their focus.

Mark became serious he know that ace finally started to acquire his ability on the devil fruit he ate.

Would it be a zoan, paramecia, or maybe a logia Mark can't help but become excited.

After a while ace started moving and explained to them what power he acquire on his devil fruit.

Mark can't help but think he's really lucky but started to Think about one of the commanders of the white-beard pirates who was also coincidentally, have the same name as his "Brother".

Putting it at the back of his mind he questions ace about what fruit he got.

Ace answered, the fruit he got was called

Mera Mera No mi, a logia type that helps him control fire.

That's all he has obtained as for the abilities it has it would depend on him to learn or make one because the fruit would be very easy to understand.

Nodding for a bit Mark encourages ace to try his fruit here, right now and it would be plus that this island was a deserted one which means he would not harm any lives while practicing.

Ace started thinking about the suggestion and said while rubbing his stomach." Fine I would try one move, successful or not we would need to get on your ship because I'm already hungry.

Ace's face an empty filled and started focusing after a few minutes fire started appearing on his fist, he make a punching form and shouted while punching.

" Hiken! "

A little fireball comes out of his fist hitting a tree a disappearing afterward leaving no damage whatsoever.

HAHAHAHAHA!

'Chuckles'

Mark laugh loudly while rolling around while Deuce was forcing himself not to laugh.

"HAHAHAHA What the hell ace what kind of move is that, you spend minutes forming a fireball that can't even leave a scratch on a dying tree," Mark said while he continue laughing.

Ace's forehead started to produce veins, wanting to shout but can't do it at all because of his poor performance.

After a round of laughing Mark finally decided to stop and signal the two to follow him towards his ship.

[ Hades ]

In the ship hades a woman with blond hair and red eyes can be seen looking towards a dead forest.

Valerie can't help but worry about Mark even knowing that her master is strong enough to protect himself having Fafnir beside him.

Mark has been very nice to her ever since he summoned her.

At first, Valerie thought that after she leave the castle nothing would change because she would be forced to work and service someone.

But after being with Mark for a while she found out she was wrong, Mark treated her much better than her family ever did to her.

For her, he was already in the same place with Gasper in her heart and she would blame herself if anything happen to him because of her request.

If before she treated her service to him as a payment for freeing herself towards her family but now she just really wants to help him.

As such from now on she makes a promise to be useful and help her dear friend whenever he needed her.

(A/N: Another AN sorry for talking a lot I just want to explain how Fafnir was not with Mark when he met up with the two when he was supposed to be there if you remember. The real reason is I forgot but I would just make the next chapter as Fafnir's adventure which I would make a reason he got separated from Mark, I'm sorry for my mistake tho, and would try not to make another one.)
