Chapter 42 Kara Zor-El

"Since you're confident you can regain the Speed Force, then take action quickly. I believe the Batcave has everything you need. Simulating an artificial rainstorm shouldn't be too difficult for someone like Bruce Wayne. Pietro, go help him. I'm going to take our Kryptonian friend here to get some sunlight."

After speaking, Austin immediately walked towards the exit of the Batcave. Surprisingly, no one in the room objected to Austin's commands. Other than the obedient Pietro, even the old Batman did not refuse or protest. Or rather, At this point, Batman had realized the catastrophic threat they were facing.

He wasn't worried about anything else, just afraid that when this girl woke up she might instinctively retaliate, and his small stature probably couldn't withstand a punch enhanced by the sunlight from a Kryptonian.

Kara's eyelids fluttered slightly, then opened wide suddenly. Without any support, she abruptly floated up, then slowly steadied herself upright.

Noticing Austin's presence, Kara turned her head and looked in his direction. "I remember you, you were the one who rescued me from that place."

Kara's voice was very calm, but Austin sensed the slight joy within her, as well as the simmering rage like flowing magma that was about to erupt - understandable, after being imprisoned and experimented on for over ten years.

"Good that you remember. I was worried you might punch me," Austin smiled slightly and released his tight grip on the umbrella behind his back.

Kara gazed silently at Austin, seeming to recall something. Then she spoke, "If I'm not mistaken, you called out my name earlier. Just who exactly are you?"

"Let me introduce myself, I'm Austin Evans, from another universe."

Austin smiled and took a few steps forward, extending his hand and continuing,

"This world is about to be destroyed by Zod. To save it, we need your power."
