When he received the gift box Kaoru immediately open it because he know it will not harm him after all its useless to trap him when that being could erase him easily, and right after opening the box he got a notification

When the notification stops appearing, you start to read all the descriptions one by one and try to use or take each item from the system inventory.

"basic weapon mastery" will give the user the basic knowledge of how to use every kind of weapon that ever exist in the multiverse level but only the basic knowledge where the user knows how to use it so Kaoru will not become a sword saint when he uses a sword or something like that.

"basic health potion", "indestructible smartphone", and "1-star sword" just like what the name said potion will heal scars or wounds on the level of light injury so a lost limb will not be healed when using this potion, the smartphone will not and can't be destroyed by any mean, will have infinite memory space and always have access to the internet in the multiverse, and for the 1-star sword that mean the weakest level weapon that recognize by MHG shop system that mean on the peak of normal human level crafted sword, there is no magic or any special effect only a very good quality normal sword.

For the astral board, it is a flying vehicle with a shape like a futuristic skateboard and he recognized this item since this is from the MMO game which is he played the longest in his previous life even though he hope for the bigger version which is the "astral bike" but it's enough for now, if he wants an astral bike he could buy it from the shop latter.

And the best reward from the gift box is this ability "The End" Kaoru knows this ability is an absolute cheating skill that will make him stronger faster, but there is a limit to this skill and that is he can't copy the experience and physical capabilities of the original skill user that he copied. The only reason Kurokami Medaka could use this skill easily is because of her superhuman physiology, for example, Kaoru could copy Shirohige's "gura gura no mi" power but his body is not strong enough to endure the recoil of that power and he is not stupid enough to think the power to destroy the world didn't have any backlash and he could also copy Vlad's kazikli bey maybe even better than vlad himself but doesn't mean he have the experience killing thousand of people by impaling, this limit will be a big problem even when fighting because kaoru believed that the most important thing in battle except the power is experience.

For Kaoru "the end" will be a blessing but also a curse because with this power he needs to work harder than any people because the moment he got complacent he will never grow again after all he will never understand the hard work since he could get any ability just by copying it and he didn't want to be like medaka who is so perfect to the point of become a naïve and small-minded that only believed in their ideals, so kaoru choose to take this power as a test for himself so that he will not turn into an idiotic frog in the well.

"What a troublesome power that I got" Kaoru only could make a sigh with his luck since he know that his luck is abnormally high to the point that he could get lost money on the road but also got the trouble that come with it.

When Hibari look at Kaoru and found it seems he is already accept everything she want to welcome the new member that accept the invitation "Kaoru-sama with this I believe you can be the strongest hunter, but without a friend even the strongest will be lost faster in the future also the guild without its member will never be a true guild, so let's welcome a new member together" Hibari persuade Kaoru to welcome the member and start his duty as a guild master of Multiverse Hunter Guild.
