Chapter 44

Bram stood chuckling as Kiyomi stood, gripping her sword tightly as she glared at him.

"Kill me? Who the hell do you think you—" Said Bram.

But in a flash, Kiyomi had bolted in front of him and sliced his arm off. She then caught Ana into her left arm as she already fell unconscious. Kiyomi was horrified by what he did to her as Bram hurled his fist at her.

"I'll kill you, you little bitch!" Bram yelled.

"Kamikaze… (Divine Wind.)" Said Kiyomi.

Kiyomi swung her sword upwards with just one hand on her swords handle and released a sharp pressurized wind that sliced Bram in half. The slice kept on going as Delilah jumped out of its way. Bram stood frozen, but his blood linked his split body back as his body quickly healed back together.

"it's going to take more than that to—" Said Bram.

But out of nowhere, Van approached and rammed his fist into Bram's face. Van instantly broke his face as Van pushed his fist more and launched Bram far off as he flew into the forest and crashed into the side of small hill. Delilah quickly went after him, but Van drew his gun and shot her in the leg. Delilah fell to the ground, until music was play and a magic construct of a snake appeared and constricted itself around her body. She looked as it was Vergil who trapped her as he was playing his violin.

"You're not going anywhere." Said Vergil.

Van turned around and saw Madeline and Lucy with Kiyomi as she was trying to heal Ana with her magic. Lucy looked at Ana as she held her hand as she was barely clinging to life. Van quickly ran over as he slide next to Ana and held her hand.

"Ana…Maddy, is she going to be alright?" Van asked, with great concern.

Sister Madeline then stopped as she lowered her hands as Van and Kiyomi looked at her with confusion. Lucy immediately knew what just happened as she burst into tears.

"What are doing!? Heal her!" Van yelled.

"I'm sorry. My magic can't do anything. Bram did too much to her. Forgive me…there's nothing I can do." Madeline cried.

Van didn't know how to respond as he looked at Ana as she couldn't speak. Her eyes still had life in them, until the light went away and her eyes became dead. Van froze in shock as Kiyomi lowered her as Van grabbed her hand.

"Ana…Ana! ANA! No, not her! Not her, too!" Van cried.

Van continued to cry as Kiyomi gently put her body down on the ground and walked away.

"Mrs. Takahashi…!" Said Madeline.

"Stay here. There are more student to save. I'll take care of them." Said Kiyomi.

Kiyomi bolted off in a flash as we then see the others on their knees in worse condition then they were. Tanya broke kicked Virika, who was on the ground, in the ribs, breaking them. She only her face responded as her she could yell or scream. We see Santiago looking at Zoe's arm as he had ripped it off. Zoe was on the ground limbless and parts of her face was showing her real cybernetic face. Yuan was already unconscious as he was steaming as Kanika was holding a small sun in her hand.

"I guess he couldn't handle the heat." Said Kanika, smugly

Vladimir stood casually, but his fist and claws were covered in blood. And Daniel was trembling, but still standing as he couldn't hold his arms up at all. He was panting heavily as he slowly walked over to Vladimir. He tried swinging at Vladimir, but he easily stopped it and broke his arm like it was nothing. Daniel moaned from the pain, until Vladimir broke his other arm. Daniel let out a little cry of pain but stood his ground.

"Stop this already. You can't fight me without your arms." Said Vladimir.

Daniel then swung his foot, but Vladimir stopped it and broke it as well. Daniel groaned as he fell to the ground. But even that didn't stop as he forced himself to crawl to Vladimir. But Kanika stepped in and kicked Daniel into a tree as he crashed into it as he fell silent.

"He was mine to deal with." Said Vladimir.

"He was annoying. Stubborn demon couldn't admit to defeat." Said Kanika.

But they then heard Daniel still trying to move as he fell on his stomach. He used his head and his only working leg to move as he murmuring something to himself.

"Ana…Ana…" Daniel murmured.

"Ugh, I'll end his suffering." Said Kanika as she pointed her finger at Daniel.

She charged up a small beam of sun energy on her fingertip. She then fired at Daniel, until Kiyomi bolted in front of him and smacked the beam off to her side as it exploded and made the wind blow strongly.

"What? Who the hell is—" Said Kanika.

But Kiyomi bolted up to her and uppercutted her in the stomach. Kiyomi then high kicked her foot upwards and then spin kicked Kanika in the face, knocking through the nearby bridge and further into the forest. Tanya, Santiago, Vladimir all bolted at her at the same time as Kiyomi held out her right arm as her sword tattoo glowed.

"Kusanagi and Kamikaze…" Said Kiyomi.

She then swung her with just her right hand on the handle and released far more powerful slash of pressurized wind that blew the three of them far off as they flew away. Kiyomi ran to the others, grabbing them and placed them in one spot. She then close her eyes for a second and then opened them as she bolted off and quickly grabbed Emilio and went back to the others. Kiyomi opened a portal with another sword she had. But we see Kanika flew towards her with rage as she fired a solar blast at her. But Kiyomi gave her smile as she made the portal pass through her and the others as they teleported out of the mirror world. Kanika's blast hit the ground as she yelled out in rage. We see Kiyomi and the others in the real world as Madeline was already there ready to heal everyone but was immediately shocked by their injuries. But she made a dome over them as she held her hands out to them as they slowly started to heal.

"Ana…is she alright?" Zoe asked.

Madeline looked at Kiyomi as she didn't want to say anything.

"No…Ana is dead." Said Kiyomi.

Zoe and Virika started to cry, while others were unconscious. We then see Abe getting a call from Van as he picked up the phone as Lilith was with him. Van was sitting down on the ground, while there was an ambulance in the background taking her body as Lucy could only watched.

"Abe…" Said Van.

Abe listened to Van as he was immediately shocked and sadden as he quick to cry. He shook his head in denial and start to yell at his phone, but he fell on his knees. Lilith was startled as all she could do was comfort him. She hugged Abe as all he could do is break down and cry with his phone on the ground. Van stood up and with a deep sad look as he crushed his phone from rage. It would be two days later as the games had been postpone and all of the students were having ceremony for Ana. They all stood around a tree that had a picture of her as there were flowers and candles as every student there had a black shirt, coat or jacket out of respect. Isaac and the gang were there to pay their respects. Even the teachers were there as some people couldn't hold in their tears. Van had dark bags under his eyes as Isaac placed his hand on his shoulder to comfort him. Isaac then looked at Abe's dorm room as he was lying in his bed with slightly red, swollen eyes. At the hospital, Ana's team were still recuperating as they all looked defeated. But Daniel was still unconscious as he took the worse beating, while he was on life support. Felicity and the girls walked over to Ana's picture and put down some flowers as Brooke cried. It would be later as we see Isaac and the gang sitting down together on a bench as students stuck around to talk.

"Yeah, it would be cloudy, huh?" Said Garry.

"The timing, am I right?" Said Franklin.

"You doing well, Isaac?" Marcus asked.

"Yeah. I…I wish I able to help." Said Isaac, sadden.

"You heard what happened. Her team were all almost beaten to death. And if you were there, Isaac, I don't know what I would do if we lost you. Even the thought brings me to tears!" Said Violet as her voice break.

"Easy there." Said Scarlet as she comforted her.

"Sorry, Violet. It's just she was a good friend." Said Isaac.

"Not to change the subject. But what's going to happen to the games?" Franklin asked.

"Yeah! Are they going to continue without them?" Garry asked.

"I don't know. A team has to represent our school. That's up to Merlin and the other headmasters." Said Isaac.

"If so, I wonder who they're going to pick." Said Jasper.

"You're guess is as good as mine." Said Marcus.

"Isaac, hold me! Hold me with your strong arms!" Violet cried as she clung onto Isaac.

"Violet, what the hell!?" Isaac responded.

"Uh, excuse me?" Said Lilith.

They all looked at her as the boys, besides Isaac, blushed red. Even Scarlet blushed as Lilith approached them, looking concern.

"Why are you all blushing?" Violet asked as Iris shrugged.

"Man, she has the body of anime girl. Such perfections." Said Garry.

"Please, stop." Said Jasper.

"Isaac, right?" Lilith asked.

"Yeah. Can I help you?" Isaac asked.

"And could you introduce us?" Said Garry.

"Lilith, gang. Gang, Lilith." Said Isaac.

"Hi." Said everyone.

"Uh, hello. But I wanted to ask you about Abe. He hasn't been answering my messages and I'm really worried about him." Said Lilith.

"Have you tried going to his dorm?" Isaac asked.

"Not yet. I was trying to give him space. I thought it'd be best. I don't know what to do, since I've never dealt with this before." Said Lilith.

"I see. But go to him. It's fine to give him space. But try to be there for him as much as you can. I'm glad he has a friend who worries about him." Said Isaac.

"Thank you. I'll go ahead and do that. Bye." Said Lilith.

Isaac turned around to see them watching her leave as he then clapped loudly.

"Focus!" Isaac.

"Yeah, what's going on with you guys? Yeah, she's pretty hot. Like super hot. Is there a better word for that?" Violet asked.

"I don't know what came over me." Said Marcus.

"I couldn't stop staring." Said Jasper.

"I feel horrible. Val's the only girl for me." Said Franklin, ashamed.

"She's a succubus. It happens, now get over it." Said Isaac.

"Phew, okay. I feel a lot less guilty now." Said Garry.

"Excuse me, everyone." Said Merlin as he approached them.

"Ah, your eminence." Said Violet as she bowed.

"Stop being dumb." Said Marcus as he bopped her head.

"What is it, Merlin?" Scarlet asked.

"I want you all to come to my office. I have something important to ask you all." Said Merlin.
