Chapter 43

"Why are you doing this?" Ana asked.

"Because something big is going to happen soon. Arthon is coming back and they want to make sure that nothing gets in their path. And the Van Helsing family is a threat to his return. And I have to say…but you are one developed girl, you know that? I just might have fun with you after I finish beating you." Said Bram.

Ana was immediately disgusted, until Bram quickly swung a black chain at Ana as she blocked it with her shotgun. Bram then blew hellfire at Ana as she leaned away and summoned a large pistol to her left hand. She fired and hit Bram on the face, but his skin stopped it as it left nothing on his skin as the bullet fell to the ground.

"That tickled." Said Bram.

We then see her team at the highway as they already started fighting. Virika get thrown into a highway bridge as she crashed against it. She falls down to the ground as rubble falls alongside her. We see the Native American girl approach her as she kicks Virika on the faces as she flies back and tumbles across the ground. Yuan was swinging his staff at the Egyptian girl as she was smacking his staff away with boredom.

"Ugh, why did they put me against a literal monkey." Said the girl.

She then stopped his staff with her hand as she aims her left hand at his chest. She fires a sun blast at Yuan, point blank as he's knocked far away and crashes into the forest. Yuan was lying on a broken tree as we see Zoe and Emilio fight the Hispanic boy as he was dodging their attacks. Emilio was swinging his assassins blade and Zoe was swinging her arm blade. The boy was easily dodging their attacks, until Emilio walked into Zoe's shadow and disappeared. Zoe changed her arm into energy gun and open fired to distract the boy. Emilio walked out of the boy's shadow, ready to strike him. But suddenly, insect like legs popped out of his back as they had spiked ends and stabbed through Emilio's left shoulder. Zoe was shocked, until the boys commanded the rest of his legs to thrust at Zoe. She put her nanite armor on as it covered her on time. They all pierced through her armor as they all stabbed into her. We then see Daniel swing his fist, in his demonic aura mode, at the vampire as he blocked his punch. But the vampire passed Daniel quickly and smoothly as he immediately left a large cut on Daniel's chest. He bleed out as the vampire continued to strike him elegantly and fast as Daniel couldn't keep up with his attacks. The vampire then licked his claws as he tasted Daniel's blood as he was intrigued.

"Not bad. But what's a demon like you working with hunters?" The vampire asked.

"Why is a vampire walking during the day?" Daniel responded.

"Fair enough." Said the vampire.

He then kicked Daniel away to Lucy's feet as she looking up information on the four. Virika, Yuan, Zoe and Emilio were knocked to her as well as they all were beaten up.

"That was easy." Said the boy.

"Why are we doing work that can be done by any of Frankenstein's monster?" Said the Egyptian girl.

"Can you ever shut up?" Said the Native American girl.

"Stop it. Remember what our goal is. No loose strings." Said the vampire.

"And bingo." Said Lucy.

"Pardon?" The vampire responded.

"Vladimir Popescu, part of Tepes family. Vampire royalty. Kanika, an Egyptian girl out of time and has committed taboo of her people. Santiago Rivera, Cuban born and a chimera. And Tanya Howler, a werewolf of a small village who went missing years. You all are on the list of dangerous individuals that are in category 5 on a scale of 1 to 7." Said Lucy.

"And why are you saying this?" Tanya asked.

"My team is made of strong individuals. Me and Emilio aren't so strong. But I was entrusted by Ana to keep limiters on them. And since a threat like you guys are here, there's no need for that." Said Lucy.

But Santiago stabbed Lucy with his hand as they had sharp claws. But she chuckled as Santiago was surprised by her reaction.

"Damn troglodyte. I've already took it off. You think I'm going to do it after a speech like that? Do you take me as a fool?" Said Lucy.

Suddenly, Zoe grabbed Santiago's hand and tightly crushed his wrist. Santiago swung at her face, but she slapped his fist away as her arm turned into an energy gun. She fired at point blank on his face as Santiago flew back. But quickly recovered as his face was covered in incest like skin, while it fell apart.

"Damn, that was close." Said Santiago.

"Lucy, get out of here. Take Emilio and find a way out." Said Zoe.

"Right. I'll find a way!" Said Lucy as he used her metal tendrils to grab Emilio.

"And did you take off all of my restraint protocols?" Zoe asked.

"Hell yeah, I did! Go ahead and say it!" Said Lucy.

"Kill switch, engage." Said Zoe as her eyes glowed red and in her combat mode.

We then see Virika looking furious as four extra arms made up of energy were on her as she looked furious.

"Alright." Said Tanya with a smirk.

Yuan changed into his monkey form as his eyes turned red with fury as he stood ready with his staff in his hand.

"A power up? As if that will do anything?" Said Kanika.

Daniel's eyes were white with rage as his aura was burning up everything around him, while parts of his body looked more demonic. He even grow two horns on his forehead as he let out a burst of his aura as it scorched everything with a couple of yards. But Vladimir had covered himself in his cape and whipped it as it blew away the fire on him.

"That was quite the warmup. But my clothes are flame proof. And it's going to take a lot more fire to kill me." Said Vladimir.

As that happened, we see Bram crouching on the ground. He was waiting for something as he had an evil smirk on his face, while Delilah was still waiting nearby on the light post. We then see Ana standing, but beaten and bloody as she was panting.

"Is that all you have? Compared to the other hunters, you're the weakest. Killing your little brother will be a breeze once I get to him." Said Bram.

"You shut you're fucking mouth! You're never getting my brother! As long as I'm still standing!" Ana yelled with intense eyes.

"We'll see." Said Bram.

We see Lucy's wheelchair rolling fast away as Emilio was bleeding all over her chair. She stopped as she pulled out her laptop, looking for a way to get out of the mirror world.

"Hang in there, Emilio. I know I can find something." Said Lucy in a panic.

But Emilio ripped his right sleeve off as it was covered in unrecognizable art and symbols as it started to glow. Emilio put effort as he was making a tear in the mirror world that connected to real world.

"Emilio…" Said Lucy.

"Mm." Emilio grunted.

Meanwhile, at the school, we see Van walking around worried as he was looking for someone. But he then spotted Abe and Lilith as he quickly approached them.

"Ham!" Said Van.

"Van, don't call me that! It's embarrassing!" Abe responded, embarrassed.

"What? It's a cute name. But have you seen your sister? I've been trying to look for her and she hasn't responded to my messages." Said Van.

"That's odd. She usual responds quick. Did something happen between you two?" Abe asked.

"We argued a bit. But that's why I want to talk. Where can she be?" Said Van.

Abe looked at his phone as he thought it was odd as well. Until we see Lucy arriving at the school in a hurry as she was panting. We then see Ana rolled out of the way of Bram's fist as he hit the ground next to her, cracking it and making a small hole. Ana then pulled out a knife and stabbed Bram in the arm. But it didn't bother him as he backhand Ana across the face. Bram then heard beep as he saw that the knife had a bomb attacked to it as it exploded. But Bram swiped his arm as the explosion only scratched his arm, while pulling out the knife.

"You Helsing's always pulling clever crap like that. It's annoying." Said Bram.

Bram then tossed her knife back as Ana quickly titled her head as it hit a tree. Ana had a cut on her cheek as it bleed a little. She then summoned her shotgun as she fired at his face, but it only annoyed him as he swung his claws at her. But Ana dodged his arms as she moved around Bram, hitting with the butt end of her shotgun and quickly cocked her gun to shoot him in any spot she could hit. Ana was very agile as she slipped by his hands and even vaulted over Bram, until he became angry and burst with hellfire. It knocked Ana back as she quickly recovered and tried catching her breath.

"Knifes, bullets, explosives are all useless against him. Nothing works on him. It doesn't help that he's a high class demon. I need holy magic to deal some real damage. Silver bullets and holy water could help, but it'll only irritate him. I only have one option. My life force." Said Ana.

Ana then let her life force reinforce her body and strength her muscles as Bram stopped.

"Now we're talking! About time! I heard only members of the main Helsing family can use Life Force easily. Like it was second nature to them. Is that true?" Bram asked as he stood ready.

"Yeah, but I was told to never use it. Because I could kill almost anyone by accident." Said Ana.

Bram charged at her and swung his fist at her. But Ana stepped forward and rammed her fist into his stomach, knocking the air out of him. She then grabbed his head and kneed him in the face as he stumbled back. Ana summoned some brass knuckles to her hands as she gripped them. She stood in a kick boxing stance as she approached Bram. Ana threw a low kick, hitting Bram on the knee. It forced him to kneel as he readied is fist. He swung at Ana, but back stepped as she avoided his fist. Ana then swung and kick him on the face. Bram kept his evil smile as he started to go on the defensive as he swung his fist at her at fast speed. Ana did her best to dodge, until his fist was too fast to dodge. Ana then punched his fist, knocking it back as she continued to do that against all of his punches and kicks. But her brass knuckles started to crack from the impact, until Bram spartan kicked Ana in the stomach as she was knocked back. Ana flew back as Bram laughed as he then breathed out fire at her. Ana rolled out of the way, until he bolted up to her and grabbed her from the neck. He pinned her into a wall, but Ana punched his elbow and broke it. Bram groaned from the pain as she was freed. She summoned a grenade launcher to her and opened fired at point blank at Bram. The impacted knocked him far away as Ana rolled and slide across the ground. She slowly got back up, while Bram crashed into a wall. He landed on his feet normally as he inhaled as his body quickly regenerated itself. Even his arm fixed by itself, while Ana summoned her shotgun to help herself back up.

"Damn, I'm started to lose consciousness. I don't think I can keep this up." Ana thought to herself.

"Funny thing. I haven't used my demonic form. So let's save each other time. And just let me kill you. I love a good fight, but there's no point in continuing this." Said Bram.

Meanwhile, we see her gang trying to beat the Rick's men. Daniel was furious swinging his fist at Vladimir. Yuan was doing his best to land a hit on Kanika with his staff, fist and legs as she blocked each and every strikes like it was nothing. Santiago was covered in incest armor as Zoe was flying in the air and firing energy blast at him. But they didn't do anything as Santiago clenched his fist and swing so hard, he made wind pressure that hit Zoe. She fell to the ground and landed on her feet, until Santiago charged into her. She held her arms up to block, but he ended up forcing her to slid back. He then swung his left hand as his nails were sharp claws. Zoe blocked it, but then noticed that her armor was melting as she quickly popped the armor off. Her nanites made new armor to replace it as Santiago chuckled. Virika threw her fists at Tanya as she had her arms up in defense. Virika wasn't holding back as she hit Tanya with all three of her right fists at once. It pushed Tanya back as her arms were still up. But she lowered her guard and stood casual with her hands in her pocket.

"Ya done?" Tanya responded.

Virika was surprised, until Tanya quickly held her left arm back as white fur covered her arm. It was wisp like spiritual energy as Tanya hurled her fist and released a powerful pressure of air that knocked Virika far back. She landed on the ground as we see Zoe get tossed into the ground by Santiago. Kanika slammed her foot on Yuan's head, pressing it hard against the ground. But Daniel was still standing, bleeding and beaten up as he was panting. Vladimir was surprised at his persistence as he took off his cape and dropped it on the ground.

"I don't want it to get ruined. Tell me, halfblooded demon. Why do you persist?" Vladimir.

"Because…I have to. Ana is in trouble. My friends are in trouble. A bastard like you is going to have to kill me to stop. I have to save them…I have to protect my family!" Daniel yelled.

"If we were in different circumstances, I would've likely helped you. I too understand your drive to protect what is precious to you. But I too am fighting to preserve what I care about. As well as to gain back what I've lost. So come! Give me everything you have!" Said Vladimir.

"Yuan! Virika! Zoe! Don't let up! Show these sons of bitches what we're made of! We have to help Ana!" Daniel yelled.

Yuan, Virika and Zoe stood back up with more purpose as they surprise and frightened their opponents a bit.

"Ugh, why can't they just die." Said Kanika.

"Stop being lazy, then. Don't hold back." Said Tanya.

"I'm just trying to have a good fight!" Said Santiago.

"We can't lose to them." Said Yuan.

"We can't fall yet!" Said Virika.

"Not until we save Ana!" Said Zoe.

Meanwhile, we see Bram beating Ana with his fist with full force. She was still standing as she was stumbling backwards and wasn't fighting back. She was half conscious and unconscious, until Bram grabbed her and held Ana by her head with one hand. She was dangling from his grip as she was bleeding, bruised and you could barely hear her breathing. She summoned a knife to her hand and gripped it as she slowly tried stabbing Bram. But he grabbed her hand and crushed her hand, forcing her drop the knife as it landed on the ground.

"Are you done? Because I want to be able to play with you while you're still alive." Said Bram.

Delilah watched with disgust as she looked away as it was hard for her to watch. Bram used one his claws to pop off the first few buttons of Ana's shirt off, revealing her bra as he smiled sinisterly. Until they both sensed something as they both turned and saw the air get slash open as a portal opened. We then see someone step out of the portal as it was a woman with a katana and in a kimono dress.

"I'm going to say this once. Gently put her down. That way I can kill you without her in the way." Said Kiyomi, with furious look on her face.
