Vice leader explanation

Everyone nodded their heads and started explaining the regions they were in, one after another.

A few were smart enough to buy the map. Others just blindly ran away from the first village and only knew the village's name with no sense about where that village was on the planet Nex.

The vice leader searched the map based on each description to pinpoint their location.

Jules just stared at the northern region on this map. It was a detailed map that included all five small kingdoms in the northern parts, along with both old kingdoms present at the border.

The map was much more detailed, on the same level as the Rown Kingdom map he bought in the game. However, the map in front of him encompassed more than one kingdom. The problem was that he spotted a few differences in both maps, mainly the difference in the border depiction.

In the game map, the Rown kingdom had much more area under them, while on this map, there were a few regions that were now in other kingdoms. He did not know which one was the latest map, but one thing was clear: things were not peaceful in this area.

Soon it was his turn, and he pointed to a group of villages that were present just above the Rown kingdom.

He pointed to the villages just outside the Rown kingdom to mask his lies. Even if someone found him in the Rown kingdom, he could just lie to them.

As he did that, the vice leader shook his head. "You are unlucky. You need to move the entire time to meet the deadline."

Jules did not refuse him and just looked at the other coordinates.

There were three guys in the west. Each of them was a little further from the meeting point.

The other two were in two kingdoms just below the Rown kingdom that he needed to bypass to reach the nearest meeting point.

Once everyone finished marking their locations, the vice leader pointed his location at the other human kingdom on the northern side.

Unlike the smallest Rown kingdom, this one was a decent size. It also shared one border with another old kingdom, while the second border touched the west side.

Now Jules understood why the vice leader got this responsibility.

The vice leader took out a white metal pen and said, "Well, now that I know everyone's location, let me tell you the kingdom leader's regions." He shaded two regions in the north and one in the west. "Unlike group rulers, kingdom rulers have the land that they manage."

Jules nodded his head, as this was one of the common practices of kingdom rulers.

The vice leader tapped on the screen, and multiple red points appeared along with yellow circular regions around those points on the screen. "Well, Sir Ron showed us the meeting points, but those upper players expanded the meeting points for our convenience. You guys see the yellow regions."

Everyone nodded their heads. "Yeah."

"As long as you reach inside the yellow circle, just go to the adventure guild and register yourself as a ruler. This would be sufficient for the higher players to know your position."

Many sighed in relief, but it was not much for Rown. The nearest yellow region ended right at the border of the left-old kingdom and this beast kingdom. By his calculation, this still saved him around 2–3 days of traveling inside the old kingdom.

One of the new guys, who was a C rank that just joined them, asked, "Ah, leader, I roamed around my area and found out that traveling in my region is pretty expensive. Do you know any ways to earn more?"

There was silence at the table as everyone glanced at the vice leader, who had a wide grin on his face.

Many cursed the new guy in their heads. No matter how dumb they were about the game, all of them were survivors of the streets. They understood that by calling the vice leader the "leader," that guy was trying to join the vice leader's side.

Jules clicked his tongue as this suddenly became troublesome. He looked at others, and they were also trying hard not to frown.

The vice leader nodded to that guy, but then he went back to a stoic face and said, "Well, earning is very simple in the game as long as you follow a few things. Just summon your creatures and make them work."

"The important thing is your level. The more your level increases, the more creatures you will summon. One kingdom-level player told me that by the end of the first game month, everyone should have at least level 25 and 100–200 creatures in the game world."

He pointed to Jules and one guy from the west region. "For those who have to travel long distances, they should decrease the number by half till they reach the meeting point."

Jules nodded his head. This was obvious to him, but it was very important for others who were playing the game. A ruler needed to balance the number of creatures and the number of slots for instant creature summoning.

The vice leader explained a few methods: "If your creatures are humanoid, then send them to manual work. On the flip side, if your creatures are beasts, then focus on hunting monsters and trading their bodies for money."

"Be careful when hunting, as you can't see how strong the creatures are. A creature level will only appear once you do at least one point of damage. So use your brain to do that. Then there are other ways…"

The vice leader, Yusif, continued to explain how they could do things like become merchants or guards. He even explained how they could form their own adventure groups to earn more.

Along with these methods, he also warned them about not getting involved in anything related to any NPCs. While Jules ignored it.

The vice leader even marked a few famous regions that were under the control of powerful beasts and advised them not to hunt in those regions.

As they were discussing these things, Jules also asked him about the beast's kingdom.

After all, he was a human, and beasts might attack him on sight. To his relief, he came to know about the pact between the kingdoms to not kill any rulers. So as long as he showed them this proof, no one would kill him in broad daylight.

The way the vice leader was explaining these things technically, it was teacher Ron's job.

It hit him that maybe the top branch of the gang had no interest in them. It was just these kingdom rulers on the planet who were showing extra care towards them. This aligned with his special opportunity theory.

The vice leader did not stop at the game world, as he mentioned the linked system market among the rulers.
