End of meeting

Jules ignored most things about this connected trade market. Every ruler would get this virtual market in their space village once they leveled up their space village to level 2.

He already knew this market would connect all the rulers on the same stage on the planet to exchange labor and resources.

This was the reason he spent hours developing his space village. It was something that frustrated him so many times in his past life. This time, he planned to sit on the other spectrum.

The only downside was that he could not take anything traded into the game world.

This restriction limited the rulers' ability to gain control of weaponry and food in the game world. Anything traded in this market would always remain in the space village.

Their meeting ended after one hour. The vice leader also told them about the benefits they could have if they joined them.

Jules endured the persuasions for minutes and when the vice leader saw no response from many, he let them walk out of the canteen.

After just a long day, Jules was dead tired, and he dragged his feet toward his room.

There were lots of interesting things discussed at the meeting. The problem was that at the end of the meeting, the vice leader dropped a bomb on everyone.

He told everyone that based on the forms they submitted to Teacher Ron, top-level players would create a development path for them. Everyone needed to follow these plans and create the required development by the deadline of 2 months of in-game time.

Jules reached in front of his room.

He swiftly opened the lock and rushed to his bead. He threw his phone to the side and plopped on the bed.

After attending the vice leader's meeting, one thing he realized was that there was not a single thing the vice leader explained about the ruler's progress.

No subclass, skill tokens, dungeons, nothing. It was all about money, essence, and the space village. All the things that were necessary for the space village development.

Now that he thought about the space village, he slapped his forehead. "Fck, how can I forget about Shakhan?"

He got so engrossed in the subclass that he forgot to search for the ten traits of Shakhans. His eyes were already red. He looked at his phone, but then shook his head. "Nah, I will search for that in the morning."

He was about to go to sleep when he heard the room door unlock.

Click!

The light-clicking sound of the lock opening made him alert, but then he sighed in relief as it was Mark who entered the room.

'Sigh, I even forgot about my roommate.' Jules was in no mood to say any extra words.

Mark just looked at him with a tired smile and also plopped on the bed.

It looked like Boss Bruno's meeting was more intense than the vice leader's.

Not thinking much, Jules closed his eyes. They were nothing but two strangers who saw each other daily.

Even when he joined the gang, there were groups among the members of similar status. Like old members, they talked with each other while recruits mingled among themselves. The only exceptions were the four chore boys.

For the past years, everyone in this position had been so helpless that they could do nothing but pray that the boss did not choose them but someone else as a scapegoat.

It was a prayer for saving themselves, but indirectly, it was also that each of them was praying for the other's downfall.

In 8 years with the gang, he saw dozens of chore boys meeting ends worse than death. A few lucky ones got swift deaths, while authorities in prison still tortured many in false cases.

It was so bad that, at one point, the gang lost three chore boys at once. He also had his fair share of memories, but by luck, or maybe unlucky, he somehow survived the extreme.

He was not sure how long Mike had been with the gang or if he still had resentment towards the other chore boys, but it was nothing new for him.

His life as a child beggar was something similar, where on the one hand everyone prayed for each other's safety, but if someone from the group started earning more, they would pray for their downfall.

After all, one child earning more would cause others to get beaten up by those beggar gang members.

Those guys were more brutal. They cut limbs or even blinded those children who started earning less to increase the world's sympathy toward them.

No one wanted that, but while a few sought comfort in familiar environments, others dared to make deals with bigger devils.

He clicked his tongue and stopped thinking about the dark past.

He just lay on his bed with his eyes closed. The softness of the mattress soon engulfed him in the darkness.

Next morning.

Thump! Click!

A loud sound woke him. The first thing he did was check the time on his phone. "Shit, it's already 10."

He jumped out of bed and looked around, but found no one in the room.

Mark had already left.

Not wasting time, he rushed to the washroom. After 20 minutes, Jules was in the canteen, stuffing food inside his mouth.

The canteen was so empty today that he barely saw a few people rushing here and there. It was the opposite of yesterday.

He also finished eating and walked to the gaming hall while searching for Shakhans on his phone.

The first thing he looked for was the number of traits Shakhans could have at B grade. This was most important, as he could not reveal all the traits of Shakhans to the game world.

The first thing that came after the search was that, at B and A grade, rulers could have 4-6 primal traits.

Well, this gave him the liberty of introducing half of the Shakhans to the game world.

Then he searched for the traits' names. He still remembered that, at the time of selection, there were 10 traits, one after another. He already knew most about the top three traits.

Those were the most famous and most common traits that Shakhans were famous for.

So he focused on searching for other traits. What shocked him was there was no information about the last 3 traits on the internet.

He also noticed all the traits after 5th were so rare that there was just mention of their name with no description of them.

He even read a few posts that mentioned the 6th and 7th traits that appeared under S grade. Though all of this was speculation as after 5th trait on that list, no one had any concrete information about others.
