The Day

*ding-dong* And with that classes are over. As of four months now I am 18 years old and am in my last year of highschool. It is really relaxing going to school and socializing. For so long I isolated myself in my lab trying to find a way to deal with the necromorphs without causing a nuclear armageddon that I forgot a important fact:

I am still a child.

Sure, it is strange to call a once in a millennia 18 year old genius a child, but it is true. All my experiences from my previous life feel like a dream. A really vivid dream but still just that. It doesn't feel real, but I have plenty of proof proving the contrary.

This resulted in me being alienated from myself. I didn't feel I was real. I treated my life as a dream for so long that I forgot about the joys of having a social life.

I almost broke due to both the pressure and my deteriorating mental health before I decided to take a break. The damm nightmares just make things worse. I simply don't want to sleep anymore.

My personality also took a huge hit. I became a complete narcisistic fucker. Yes, I fell in love with myself. Of course that would happen, what with the amount of praise I get since I first spoke and the countless hours I spent in the company of nobody else but my creations.

It reached the point where I actually cloned a female mindless version of myself and almost did unspeakable things with it. Almost being the key word. The moment I noticed just how similar it was to Saya I immediately sobered up and burned the abomination.

I couldn't look at my sister's face for a few weeks.

As if falling in love with my own image wasn't enough, I became a sadistic monster. No, a psychotic monster would be best. Why? Because gaining Exp and leveling up gives me pleasure. All types of pleasure simultaneously. It becomes worse the more I level up and get a higher quantity of Exp. Not only that, since I hit puberty I got SEXUAL pleasure from both killing and passing skills checks. Of course, as killing gives me the most Exp, that is exactly what I got addicted to.

It dawned on me that I was going insane. Be it from my power, loneliness, the dreams or all of them together.

When I told that to my parents they both became extremely sad, especially my mother who cried for a long time while hugging me. I swore that I would never lie to them or keep secrets that I could explain from them and they did the same.

I couldn't keep going like that, so I changed my ways. No more all nighters (or all weeks) in the lab and no more hunting trips. I had to keep myself rational, otherwise my intelligence, my greatest strength, would become useless. As such, I adopted a 'normal' life after that.

I still have my urges though, and I dread the day the apocalypse begins. I know it will be inevitable for me to kill again once that happens and I would have a relapse.

*beep-beep* I hear a sound coming from my glasses. An alarm was sent to me from one of my spy-bots, tiny, silent, invisible and spherical robots that I have spread throughout the world. This alarm in specific sent shivers down my spine.

Raccoon City has been hit by a nuclear warhead.

It has begun.

It has begun.

Ithasbegun.

Fuck.

FUCK!

A small part of me still had hope that it wouldn't happen, that I could live my life a little while more in a society. In civilization.

But I can't delay it anymore. The time has come.

*beep-beep* A second alarm sounds.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS IT NOW?!" I say, more stressed than I thought I was. And there it is, situation HSTD01 has been located by one of my bots. A clearly diseased man has been spotted in the school's gates. How? Did this fucker just teleport there?! My bots and AI keep a tight watch over the whole of this city, how haven't they noticed a MOTHERFUCKING INFECTED UNTIL HE WAS AT MY SCHOOL'S GATE?!?!

*beep-beep*

*beep-beep*

*beep-beep*

*beep-beep*

*beep-beep*

It is all happening at the same time.

Hundreds, no, thousands of infected are appearing in the city at the same time.

How?

I immediately review the gathered footage and understand what is happening.

Umbrella.

It had to be motherfucking Umbrella.

Their agents all around the world drank a sample of the T-virus at the same time.

How. The. Fuck?

My AI monitors practically ALL electromagnetic waves across the globe but nothing suspicious was detected. So how did they know the specific time to drink the sample?

No, how did they even get a sample?! What kind of nut job would spread millions of highly contagious samples around the world and hope none of them would be released before the right time?

Wesker.

Fucking Wesker.

I should have killed him when I had the chance.

Alright, calm down me. I need to make a better assessment of the situation. What is the UBC spation station situation? Any signs of the marker?

"Negative sir. The UBS space station has reported neither signs of contagium or any anomalous situation." Answers a feminine yet robotic voice on my head, my AI. I have little 'antennas' on my head that work as receivers for my Artificial Intelligence. I didn't resist completing the Saiki Kusuo looks. She has no name because she has no feelings. None of my bots have. They are hard-coded to always obey me and follow my instructions to the letter. In order to facilitate the process, I made an AI that is directly connected to my neural network, allowing me to make sure no orders will be misinterpreted.

Great, at least I won't have to deal with aliens right now.

"Saya, it is happening." I say while looking to my side at my sister. Her confusion lasts for half a second before she understands what I meant. Her face fills with a little despair but it soon fades when she remembers our training. She knows what to do.

"Alright, I will go get Kohta." She says with a serious expression. I simply nod and run towards the kendo club. All the main cast of the manga except for Shizuka know about my plans. I got Kohta, Takashi and Rei trained together with the rest of my militia so they can hold their own in a fight. Saeko got her monomolecular sword and had special swordsmanship training on an VR pod as said sword is way lighter than a normal katana and offers less resistance when cutting. Saya is my lab assistant and disciple in general. Even with me out of the picture she could manage most of my facilities by herself.

I feel a slight sense of pride seeing how much she progressed under my tutelage. Who would have imagined that annoying brat that couldn't stop pestering me when I was little would grow up to become such a fine young lady.

She is still a brat though.

"Help! Police!" It seems like they are already inside the school, great.

I am almost at the kendo club room, but it seems that Saeko is already out and looking for me. So the training really got to her, huh? Gathering with the group at first sign of the outbreak was one of the main rules established.

"SAEKO, HERE!" I shout knowing full well the attention it would attract.

That is one of my objectives.

A few seconds later she arrives at my position.

"Is it really happening?" She says with apprehension in her tone, but I can see that subtle hint of excitedness in her eyes. She is anticipating it. She WANTS it.

That is why I fell in love with her.

She is like me.

And I love me.

"Yes, Saya is going after Kohta and the

lovebirds already saw what is going on. Now we should meet at the nurse's office like our training." I say and see a small smile on her face. Unlike the manga, she doesn't mind showing certain people her sadistic side, I, of course, am one of those select few. After all, who could possibly understand her better than someone like her?

She nods and follows me through the corridors full of panicking students. Their state is thanks to a certain 'announcement' made by the director that can be resumed to:

"Something something, violent acts at the school gates, classes canceled, everyone go home, *agonizing screams of the damned*" and it cuts out. He ded.

While making our way to our destination, we find our first infected. My blood starts boiling. I can almost feel the exhilarating sensation of receiving Exp and leveling up. Saeko is no better, she has a perverted smile on her face.

She is beautiful.

But there is no way I am going to let her steal the first kill from me.

We both sprint towards the poor infected student who tries to grab us. Saeko simply dodges and breaks his left leg using her wooden sword while my right foot meets his face.

3 years ago, my last stat reached 10, meaning, my body is peak human. Sadly, my mod that allows me to assign stat points to my SPECIAL even after 10 doesn't work. Another broken feature of my system.

Needless to say, with a whopping 10 agility, strength and endurance together with 100 in Unarmed combat, the zombie's head was simply gone from this world.

AHHHHHHHH YES! EXP! SO MUCH EXP! I never thought killing a zombie could fell SO FUCKING GOOD! Ahhh, this is awesome. No level up though huh?

And this reminds me of another broken feature of my system.

The leveling system.

My required exp for each level is seemingly random and its value does not appear on my UI. I can kind of feel when I am close to leveling up but that is it. I don't even know my level for fucks sake! It shows I am level -17dba65 on my UI, and even if I remember how many times I leveled up, sometimes leveling up does absolutely nothing while others I get triple skill and perk points. In other words, I don't really have a stable progression rate as my system inherited its least redeeming Bethesda characteristic.

Glitches.

Too many glitches.

Looking at my blood stained boot, I can't help but smile, and so does Saeko. God, we are crazy, but so is this world so it cancels out. It's PEMBAS or some shit like that.

Getting out of our murderous glee, we continue our jog to our group's meeting point. Reaching the nurse's office, we see the rest of the gang's already here.

"So guys, it is finally happening. Don't forget your training and remember our objective: reach the Takagi state." I say in a serious tone while taking out a custom made automatic rifle from my inventory and passing it to Kohta. That little baby has 500 bullets and the power of a .50 BMG while no recoil what'sover. The wonders of electromagnetic rifles.

"Ehh, what are you all doing here again?" Says a busty blonde with a mix of emotions on her face.

"We are here to draft you Shizuka-sensei!" I say with a bright smile, while the rest of the group holds a laugh. She notices the other's reaction and pouts.

"Mooo, you shouldn't be making jokes at such a time, Saiki-kun! We should be getting out of the school right now!" She says in a tone unbefitting of an adult, much less that of a teacher.

"I am serious." I say while my voice and face makes a complete 180. The same goes for the rest, they know full well how serious the situation is.

"Grab whatever personal belongings you have, we leave for HQ in ETA 60. During that time me, Saeko and Kohta will clean the school. Saya, Rei and Komuro, you stay here and protect both Shizuka-sensei and whoever else appears." I say with an authoritative tone while taking out their equipment from my inventory. All of them have custom-made graphene body suits with multiple protective plates made from an impact absorbent gel that is very much indestructible without an acidic solution made specifically for its dissolution. Not only that, but each have their own loadout made with their specialization in mind.

They are my main squad.

"WHAT!? H-how did you do that Saiki-kun?!" Says Shizuka in surprise.

"Magic. Now, I recommend you doing what I said and grabbing whatever you have with sentimental value because it will probably be the last time you'll have a chance." I say and make my way out of the room.

I can almost see Shizuka's annoyed expression.

With that, squadron ESP starts its first infected cleanup.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back in the Takagi state many men and women can be seen moving around together with robots similar to first generation synths from Fallout 4, except these ones don't have exposed circuits.

Most of the people here already know what is happening, many of them are already in power armor and ready to begin missions into the city to rescue survivors. The main model used by the Takagi Militia is the Snake-05 specialized in agility and can last for 2 centuries without recharging while the heavy troops use the Bull-09 and can very well be considered tanks but only last for a few days without changing their batteries.

This militia is composed of no more than 362 men and women but can very well go toe to toe with the Japanese Self-Defense Force or JSDF. Every single one of its 150 combatants have peak physical capabilities and many cybernetic and genetic augmentations, training of a few centuries in Virtual Reality about every possible subject and light brainwash.

They are all monsters with an undying loyalty and unbreakable will.

"President! We have finished loading the vertibirds and are ready to depart!" Says a giant of a man in black uniform to Souchiro.

"President! Squads Alpha, Beta, Charlie and Delta have finished preparations and all other forces are on standby!" Says a woman in a Bull-09 armor with gold accents.

"Sir, all defense systems are online and the underground complex is completely functional." Says a robot that could be mistaken for a human if not for its lack of hair and clearly visible biomechanical brain protected by the same indestructible gel present in multiple equipment around.

Souchiro nods at the information and issues his order.

"All offensive and rescue forces! Begin operation Cleaning of Elysium!" He says in his headset with a voice full of conviction.

""Sir! Yes, Sir!"" All personnel and robots speak at the same time.

Souchiro can't help but feel a little apprehensive while looking at the numerous futuristic vehicles leaving his property. The world has begun to change, and thanks to his strange son, the Takagi family will have an essential role in its future.

A few minutes later, soldiers armed with out-of-this-world weaponry can be seen moving around the city rescuing civilians, burning infected with both flamethrowers and plasma weapons and helping the local military forces as well as the JSDF to keep order.

The reactions to this event were varied, but none had the guts to say anything bad about the metal monsters cleaning the streets after seeing their impossible efficiency.

That is, no one with a good head on their shoulders.

Sadly, some people are simply less than others.

"From what division are you from soldier?" Says a man with a mustache and civilian clothes but an air of authority.

"We are from the Takagi Militia, under the orders of Souchiro Takagi." Says the same woman in the Bull-09 with golden details.

The man is taken aback by the woman as the Takigi clan isn't supposed to have such a mighty military force before he remembers of a certain teen who got his first nobel prize while still 6.

"So the little freak was planning to overtake the government huh?! After this is over you and your little mafia will get punished for those actions!" He shouts while turning back but is immediately hit by dozens of plasma projectiles before becoming green goo.

"No threats to the Takagi will be tolerated." The woman says with a cold voice. All who witnessed this scene understood that these people shouldn't be messed with.

Many such cases were happening throughout the city and the news spread like fire:

Tokonosu City is now under the authority of the Takagi Militia.

The police force of course tried to protest, but many agents have already infiltrated their ranks and made clear that all signs of resistance would be put down without hesitation.

The JSDF didn't have such problems but their forces couldn't do anything as both infected individuals and Umbrella soldiers were harassing their bases.

And while all of that happened, a group of highschoolers were cleaning their school like the good students they are.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*All My Life - Foo Fighters*

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I shout while dashing through the corridors with my PP (Pink Petal) on my left hand and a plasma submachine gun on my right.

This.

Is.

INCREDIBLE!!!

I have lost count of how many times I creamed my pants. Saeko looks no better than me. Saya is chuckling while burning zombies with her flamethrower. Rei is making a trail of headless zombies with her monomolecular spear. Kohta is laughing maniacally while transforming infected into tomato soup. Takashi is evaporating entire classrooms with his custom made laser-shotgun.

We are having fun, and the music playing on my shoulder mounted speaker makes sure the zombies won't stop coming until the school is clean.

Honestly, there is no better bonding activity than blowing zombie heads, and we spent so much time doing this in VR that even the less violent members of our group can very well make a psycho shit their pants in fear.

Sadly, the number of infected in this school is limited so our rampage ends a few minutes after having started. Me, Saeko and Kohta go back to the infirmary to rendezvous with the rest of the squadron as our work is done.

Reaching there, we meet with a group of terrorized students and teachers. It appears more people survived than I initially expected.

"Everyone! Grab whatever personal belongings you have, we are leaving this school in less than 40 minutes to a safe place. And before you ask, no you don't have a choice. We cleaned this school already but the gates won't last much longer. Once our ride arrives we'll be gone." I say to the trembling mess of people in front of me.

"What? Why should we go with you?" Says a randon boy. I look at him in bewilderment.

"Hasagi-san, correct?" I ask and he nods. "Do you have brain damage? Didn't you hear me say you don't have a choice? Didn't you hear me say the gates won't last? This is not happening only in our city but in the whole world! The police are already getting absorbed by my forces and the military is too busy getting their asses handed to them by Umbrella and their damm spies! You either follow us or die!" I say to the now trembling teenager.

"Excuse me Saiki-kun, but what do you mean that the police are being absorbed by your forces?" Asks the pest known as Koichi Shido.

"I mean exactly what I said. By the end of the day the police force will be a part of my group, my militia is making sure of that." I say casually and the pest shuts up.

I see Rei and Komuro getting angry at his presence. Thankfully they know not to act right now. They waited for a long time to solve their grudges against him and the apocalypse is the perfect opportunity. Well, the grudge is only Rei's but Komuro learned of it during one of our training sessions and almost killed the bastard the next day.

Ah, young love, how sweet it is.

"B-but… what about our families?" Asks another random, this time a girl.

"My troops are already cleaning the city and rescuing whoever is alive. If they survive to the end of the day you will find them on my base." I say much to the relief of the scared survivors.

"Saiki, what is your situation?" I hear the voice of my mother on my head, coming through my antennas.

'The school is clean, we are waiting for extraction.' I answer in my head.

"*sigh* Our troops are already finishing cleaning our side of the infected, we should be able to extract you in about 20 minutes." She answers with a sigh of relief.

'Oh? That is faster than I expected.' I say with an inquisitive tone.

"We managed to deal with the infection before it got momentum in the areas near to our state but your side of the city is already in a dire situation." She says with a solemn tone. My parents really care about the city so they must be really sad about its current state.

'We did the best you could. We should focus on preserving what we still have and not dwell on our failures.' I try to lift her mood and get her back to work. I know she must be feeling like shit but each second is crucial and being sad can be done later.

"Thanks, Saiki." She says and cuts the line.

"Change of plans everyone! We have around 20 minutes before skedaddling outta here so hurry up!" I shout to the normies and signal to my group to talk.

"You know what to do, keep these guys from dying for a few minutes and then they'll be someone else's problem." I say to squadron ESP.

"Sir! Yes, Sir!" Says a grinning Kohta.

"Hai, hai, captain." Komuro answers.

"*sigh*" Is all that Saya communicates, but it is enough.

Rei doesn't answer but nods while Saeko simply smiles at me.

Now I just need to wait.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At a certain aircraft carrier near the coast of Japan a certain emergency meeting is taking place.

Multiple high ranking military officers are gathered around an oval table. On the head of said table is a man around his fifties with gray hair, no doubt because of the stress of his position. Even so, his appearance is still no worse than a man in his forties.

"What is the situation in Tokyo?" Asks one of the officers.

"The worst in the country. The density of the population made the disease spread at an absurd rate. We estimate little to no survivors in the city." A man in his twenties answers.

"Not only that, Umbrella's forces are making strategic attacks on all of our bases. We should have listened to the brat." Says another officer, this one bald and extremely old.

"You know that we couldn't have followed his plans. Umbrella is a vital part of our economy, if we simply removed them from our country we would suffer one of the worst financial crises in history." Says the man in his twenties.

"Was, Umbrella 'was' part of our economy, now they are our enemy and there is no more economy." The old man corrects.

"What matters now is what we should do." The man at the head of the table speaks for the first time.

"Sir, I received reports that Tokonosu has repelled most of the attacks and is in the process of stabilizing the city." The old man says.

"What? How?" Asks the man in his twenties.

"Apparently, the brat and his father were organizing a militia for this exact event. Their forces are armed with technology that makes Umbrella's look primitive. More specifically, energy weaponry such as lasers and exo-skeletons capable of lifting cars like they were made of foam." The old man says with a small smile.

"WHAT?! He hid this from us?!" Says the man in his twenties while the rest of the officers look agasp at the news. The boy has advanced his technology that much?

"Yes, yes I did." The voice of the boy in question sounds through the room, surprising almost everyone present.

"So you already had access to our meeting." Says the man at the head of the table.

"I hacked into Umbrella's servers when I was 5, what made you think I wouldn't do the same to the military?" The boy, no, the young man says.

"You must have a reason to reveal yourself now, no?" Says the old man.

"Of course I do Busujima-san. I propose an alliance. I have an army available in my basement, but I would rather not have any conflicts with the Japanese military, after all, our objectives are not that different." The young genius says.

"You have an army in your basement? Do you take us as fools?!" Says one of the officers. Some nod in agreement but others avert their sight from the fool.

"Yes, an army of genetically engineered clones with superhuman strength and enough robots to make Skynet jealous." The smug brat says with a grin making most of the officials blink in either surprise or horror.

"And what are the terms of said alliance?" Asks the man at the head of the table.

"Sir? You are not seri-" The man in his twenties starts but is interrupted by his superior who simply glares at him.

"The terms are pretty simple: Tokonosu city is now mine, the Japanese government and military will take no actions directly or indirectly against me or my forces, any land outside of Japan that I occupy will belong to me and when Japan is out of imminent risk you will help me remove any threats to humanity from this world. In return, I will provide vital information about Umbrella's military forces, the T-virus, and any support that doesn't debilate my projects, including military aid and resources." The incorporeal voice of the young man answers.

"You want Tokonosu city?! Do you think we will simply abandon our citizens?!" Asks the same infuriated officer.

"Believe me, they will be in better hands. You can't even protect yourselves and you think you can take care of a whole city? Don't make me laugh." Comes the brat's answer.

The room falls in silence for a few moments before the manat the head of the table gives his answer.

"We accept your deal." He says with a serious tone.

"Then I advise you to hold your jaws because I am about to make a scene." The young man says and immediately after numerous alarms blast throughout the air carrier.

"WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" Someone asks.

"ATTENTION, multiple missiles have been detected coming from Tokonosu city!" Someone says on the speaker.

"Is he attacking us?!" An officer asks.

"Sir! You have to see this!" A guard runs through the doors to the room and announces. Everyone present follows the guard to the ship's deck and they can't help but open their mouths wide.

In the skies over the entirety of Tokonosu a huge metallic net is forming. A metallic net made of trillions of football sized flying drones in hexagonal formations. At the center of each hexagon is a floating black sphere with millions of fly sized drones at its lower half and an extremely precise telescope at its top. At the intersections of said hexagons are cannons pointing upwards, prepared to take down anything that threatens its security.

The Skynet. The anti-aerial and spatial surveillance and defense system, as well as high end terrestrial surveillance system.

"Like I said, a scene. With this, the war has officially begun." The young man's voice announces.

The war has begun.

IT HAS BEGUN!

I will probably release the next chapter before monday.

Have some idea about my story? Comment it and let me know.
