Why is he here?!

After winning the bet with old man Chisa, my stay at this place was like heaven! Sure, I always have to keep clean the garden but that is no issue with me since I just need to sweep the fallen leaves and wipe the dust on the stools and table. No one even bothers to go here since this too far out and I've learned that there are other big beautiful gardens near the place where they receive guests.

I've been tending this garden for almost 2 weeks now and I've met some other female servants that cleans the house and works at the kitchen but there are a bunch of snobs that don't even look at me so I don't care about them at all and it's a good thing that the room I'm staying at only has me occupying it so it's pretty peaceful.

Old man Chisa also kept his end of the bet to keep me fed but the food… Well let say, they look like they abstained from eating meat or anything, since they only serve me rice and just plain tasteless broth or more like water with a little salt in it, and if I'm lucky there will be a piece of vegetable floating in the soup. But it's better than nothing since I can still get to eat and the food they serve kept me energized as well.

And another benefit of being in a deserted garden is that I can harness the spiritual essence from the sun all day long and no one will see me do it and ask questions on what the heck I'm doing slacking on the job and at night I will also meditate when the moon is full to also gather it's spiritual essence. This is the life that I imagine having when I started my afterlife, it's perfect!

After having my meal, I hummed to myself while I was walking towards the garden. And as always, I swept the floor and gather all the fallen leaves and even watered the peach trees. After wiping the stools and table I was pretty much done, so easy! I can't understand why it was left at a horrid state before I came since this garden is easy to maintain.

Looking around, I nodded my head satisfied with the work I did. So now let's gather some spiritual essence from the sun! I did that yoga pose again, I believe they call it the warrior pose and started meditating.

I was trying to meditate when I heard a noise outside, I was going to ignore them but if they see me in this yoga pose they might snitch on me that I was slacking off and get me kicked out. The other servants that I met here are not my fans so they will make trouble for me if they see an opportunity.

I opened my eyes and quickly grabbed the broom and started sweeping the ground again even if there are no fallen leaves, I just hope that whoever it is outside will just fuck off so that I can go back meditating.

"Where can he be? I just saw him went this way! You! Asked that servant girl if she saw her Master pass by!" She ordered one of the servants following her.

"Have you seen your Master pass by? If not go look for him and bring him here! My Lady here is looking for him and we must see him!" She said.

WOW! Like master like servant, they are both so rude! Who do they think they are barking orders at me? I don't think they stay at any of the rooms in this place so who are they to order me around?!

"Look here, I don't know who you are, so why should I follow you? You're not even from here and just barged in. Why don't you go look for him yourself?" I retorted.

"How dare you! Do you even know who My Lady is?! Such insolence!" The maid started shouting at me now.

"Kairi, why is it taking so long? It's just a lowly slave, you should know what to do." The girl wearing a beautiful pink kimono, have a snowy white complexion. She has a cute small face, with cat-like eyes and pouty red lips. She was showing elegance and innocence but she ordered her maid with a cold voice.

"Yes My Lady!" The maid bowed to her master and looked at me again and now she was smiling evilly at me.

"For not respecting My Lady, I have the right to punish you! Now come here and receive your punishment!" She said.

"How about no? You are not my employer or my Master so why should I do what you said? Are you stupid?" I scoffed at her. As if I would do what she ordered me? I'm not as stupid as she is!

"Why you! You are just a slave don't act as you please!" The maid is still shouting at me. Her complexion was turning red, I don't know if she was blushing from embarrassment or out of anger.

"You know what? I don't have time for your drama, so you can run along with that dear Miss of yours and go look around for Master like a stupid groupie that can't wait to kiss his feet. Now shoo! Go disturb someone as stupid as you!" In a bored manner, I turned them away.

"Bitch!" The maid shouted. She forcibly opened the bamboo gate and marched towards with her right hand reaching towards my head. She must want to pull my hair huh?

Seeing that she is coming at me, I had this idea to see if I have enough power to counter her. Since she is not that fast and I don't feel any overpowering pressure from her I made my move. Remembering one of the moves in the animes that I watched, I grabbed her stretched arm, twisted my body and did an over shoulder throw.

I shifted the angle of my body so that when I did the move she will be thrown out of the garden. With all my strength, I threw her towards the exit. What I didn't anticipate was how light she was, so when I threw her instead of landing by the gate, she flew straight towards her beloved master and she was now lying on top of her master.

I was so shocked I stared at them with my mouth wide open. What the hell happened?! Are maids here this weak that the will fly over with just a simple throw or is my power growing? While thinking that, the young lady and her servant were scrambling to get up.

"Just you wait, you filthy bitch! We will get your master to fucking punish you!" The supposed fine and elegant young lady was now looking disheveled and is now shouting at me.

"Yeah okay. I'll be waiting!" I sarcastically told her and then picked up the bamboo scattered from the gate that her maid had broken.

I saw them stiffened when they saw me pick up the bamboo, I smirked at them and acted that I was about to throw the bamboo at them. They started screaming and ran away from the place.

Relieved at seeing them ran off, I gave out a long sigh. "Phew! Good thing they had left! What an eyesore!" I thought… Eh? I quickly turned my head and saw Master standing beside me.

He looked at me and smiled, he even patted my shoulder. I thought I was hearing things, but it turns out he was that one that said what I thought! But the most pressing matter is what is he doing here?! Has he been here the whole time?! Did he see what I did to his guest?! If he did, then I'm in big trouble!
