Levi looked down at the baby in his arms. The baby's bottom hadn't been spanked, like in a normal birth. However, the baby was still breathing quite naturally. The reason why babies were spanked was so that the breath they took into their lungs would reach the deepest part of the lungs. Although this method is not considered wise, the baby's breathing quickened as it began to cry, and its lungs received more oxygen. Thus, the baby could quickly adapt to severing the umbilical cord with the mother.

This was not the case for Ikiru. The caesarean section was quick and smooth, and the umbilical cord was cut immediately. Ikiru began to breathe steadily as soon as the umbilical cord was free. This was normal. Some babies react this way differently from others. As Levi looked at Ikiru sleeping in his arms, Mikasa began to wake up from the anaesthetic. Levi was leading Ikiru towards Mikasa when he heard her looking at her baby and wanting him.

At that moment, Ikiru opened his eyes. Since the Creator had erased Ikiru's past life from his memory, Ikiru, like every newborn baby, did not realise what he was going through. However, even though the creator had erased Ikiru's memory, he had made sure that Ikiru retained the consciousness he had developed over sixty-nine years. This led to the events that would cause Ikiru to awaken his Quirk and his bloodline power when he opened his eyes. When Ikiru opened his eyes, he could see almost nothing.

His underdeveloped eyes could not fully take in the surrounding light. His other senses were in the same condition. So Ikiru woke up in a state of confusion. He could not see, hear or feel. More importantly, he could not understand. He could not understand what he was, who he was, what he was and where he was. These unknowns frustrated Ikiru. So he did the only thing he could do, he cried. However, because he had the awareness that any newborn baby should not have, his body secreted hormones different from those secreted by other babies.

In the BNHA universe, there were superpowers called 'Quirk'. These superpowers manifested themselves as various mutations or abilities. Anyone without an extra knuckle on their pinky toe could awaken their Quirk. Generally, people awakened their Quirk by the age of four. There were some exceptions where Quirk awakened at a later age, but for the general population, this was the case. Because Ikiru had a level of consciousness that he should not have had at birth, he woke his Quirk within a minute of his birth.

Mikasa was looking at the perfect baby in Levi's arms. With every step Levi took towards her, Mikasa's heart beat faster. When she saw that her baby was awake and crying, she wanted to hold him immediately. However, what happened was beyond her expectations. Ikiru's screams echoed in the underground cave where the operating theatre was located. The smile on Levi's face instantly disappeared. Every item, robot and object in the cave began to rise into the air. It was as if gravity had disappeared in the cave.

Mikasa stood up, waiting for Levi to bring her baby to her. But when she saw Levi and everything around him, except him, levitating, she got goosebumps. The only thing on Mikasa's mind was her baby's screams of pain. Instantly, she teleported to Levi's side and quickly took Ikiru from his arms. As Mikasa took Ikiru from Levi's arms, Levi began to levitate. "Shh, mummy's here. Don't be scared baby, mummy is here," Mikasa said, patting Ikiru's head.

Meanwhile, Levi was floating in the air. There was no emotion on his face. He was investigating the situation and the anomaly. It was easy for Levi to understand the situation. The situation was already clear enough. Ikiru had awakened his Quirk. However, there was another problem. According to Levi's calculations, it should not have been possible for Ikiru to awaken his Quirk so early. Any member with the Ackerman bloodline power would not have been able to awaken his Quirk so early due to the suppression of his Quirk by his bloodline power. This was not the only problem with Ikiru, the levitation of objects suggested that Ikiru's Quirk was telekinesis or something similar. The problem lay in the fact that Levi had studied and analysed most of the existing Quirks. Levi had developed some technology to measure and categorise the powers of Quirks. This technology had data on telekinesis and similar powers, but for some reason, it could not identify Ikiru's powers.

Fortunately, Mikasa's words of comfort calmed Ikiru. Stressed and tired from the labour, Ikiru fell asleep in his mother's safe arms. As Ikiru calmed down, everything that had risen into the air slowly descended to the ground. Mikasa took Ikiru to the bedroom where they would stay together. Levi followed Mikasa out of the cave. Mikasa had some questions, and if he didn't answer them, Levi would need other android bodies.

When Mikasa arrived in the bedroom, she sat down next to the queen-sized bed and began to nurse Ikiru. She hadn't stopped patting Ikiru's head and looking at him from the moment she picked him up. "You'd better explain to me what's going on," Mikasa said, her voice very gentle. But Levi knew this lunatic all too well. That tone promised blood if her request was not fulfilled. "The operation went flawlessly. I have stored all the data about the operation and deleted all the videos. I have checked Ikiru's health, and I can safely say that he is in perfect health," Levi said in a calm voice and continued.

"What happened in the cave was the effect of Ikiru awakening his Quirk and bloodline power. It is normal for newborn babies to awaken their Quirk shortly after birth. I can say that Ikiru was very healthy after the awakening of his Quirk. This was an expected result since we know he inherited some of his genes from Natsu. However, as a result of my power measurements and evaluations, I realised that Ikiru's power is not telekinesis. I can't tell what his Quirk is at the moment, but my calculations tell me that Ikiru has a combination of your and Natsu's Quirk. As for the part I missed..." Levi said quickly and clearly. Mikasa was satisfied with Levi's explanation so far.

"There are records of some babies being very intelligent from birth. Ikiru's expressions after waking up could have more than one cause. Mikasa's expression as she looked at him was completely distorted. 'Looks like her distorted personality has finally settled in,' Levi thought. Levi had long believed that Mikasa was uncontrollable. But that had changed with Ikiru's birth. Ikiru was the key to controlling Mikasa. But God only knew how powerful a baby who had awakened the Ackerman bloodline after his birth would be in the future.
