28 Chapter 24
TITLE: Sports festival (4) Rematch
"…IT'S ALMOST TIME FOR THE LAST ROUND. But before that, for those
who didn't make it, we've prepared some super fun side games for everyone
who participated, we even got cheerleaders here for us, but hold up…"
His gaze shifted to a group of girls wearing cheerleader costume, these were the
class 1A girls.
"What are they doing?" Aizawa asked as he looked at the group of girls
"Seems like class 1A is going BOLD!"
How did this happen?

Hana could be seen walking into the cafeteria, her mood still sour after her
conversation with Sora, She headed to Lunch rush and ordered something to
eat. As she was about going, she heard
her name being called.
Turning her head, she looked in the direction in which the voice came from
and her gaze met that of a group of girls, specifically the class 1A girls, seated
together.
"Yo Hana, why don't you come sit with us" the pink colored Mina Ashido
asked her.
Hana hearing this, thought for a while before heading to them and taking a
seat and 5 minutes later, she was bombarded with questions and to everyone's
surprise, she didn't ignore them but answered their questions patiently.
But while they listened, they noticed the sadness in her eyes as she spoke and
Uraraka seeing this immediately asked "what's wrong Nakamura-chan?"
Hana hearing this, gave a sad smile as she said "so you noticed"
Everyone nodded upon hearing this, Hana's smile disappeared as it got
replaced with a sad look as she continued "just thinking of the past"
Hearing this, Asui asked "is there anything we can do to help?"
Hana thought about her question for a while before her mind drifted as she
began thinking of Sora and soon a smile bloomed on her face as a fantastic
idea popped up.
She said "well there's something you guys can do to help" their ears perked up
as they drew their heads closer, Hana continued seeing this "well when I was
young, I was always interested in cheerleaders and I heard today anyone can
do it, so…"
Immediately, they took a 100 steps back (sarcastic) as they looked at her
weirdly. Seeing this, Hana immediately returned to her sad self as she began
pouting, the girl's hearts ached as they watched this and after a few minutes,
Yaoyorozu said "okay we shall do it"
"What!! Yaoyorozu are you serious!?" Jiro asked
"Yes, we need to do this"
The girls thought about it for a while but once they saw Hana's puppy dog
eyes, they all resigned as together they said "yes"

And now you get the gist of it.
Sora seeing this, lightly smiled as he put his hands together and said
"In memory of Mineta"
But immediately, he looked back at his words and thought 'hmm, I remember
seeing a purple-haired guy with a perverted look on his face… maybe I was
wrong... maybe'
He then turned his attention to the commentators as President Mic began speaking
of how the 16 students will be placed in a fighting style tournament.
Hearing this the students began speaking amongst each other as they
questioned about how the tournament is organized before Midnight stepped to
the stage and said
"In the tournament, students will be placed against each other by drawing lots
but before that, you should enjoy the recreational activities which you can
choose to take part in but I'm sure you'll like to conserve energy but before any
of that, the 3rd place team had 2 participants, so we shall need 2 volunteers
from the 5th place team to make it a 16-man tournament"
And to Shinsou's surprise, his team was in 5th place. He believed he had no
chance of showing off after the Calvary battle but it seems destiny had
different plans for him so he together with Aoyama were selected from the
team as the other 2 felt they didn't merit it and even if they did, no way would
Shinsou let them.
Midnight didn't mind as she moved on with the box and each drew a lot.

Few minutes later, Sora looked at the screen before him and smirked as he
thought 'so it's some kind of rematch'
The reason he had said that was because in the first round, he had been put against Tokoyami who he fought
in the battle trials.
Tokoyami looked at Sora with determination in his eyes as he said "I won't
make the same mistake as last time"
Sora was able to hear this due to his enhanced hearing and his smirk turned
into a smile as he thought 'this might be fun'
With that, the recreational activities began, each choosing a place or thing to
do, Sora too looked for a comfortable place and took a nap as he felt tired
from all the eating and standing.

"Hey sports fans, ARE YOU READY?"
President Mic said, as Cementos was about finishing with the fighting stage
and as soon as he was done, President Mic began commenting on the first
match which was that of Midoriya vs. Shinsou.
Sora seeing the 2 enter the stage, kept a bored expression as he thought 'yeah
walk fast let's get this over with, so I can get my match done with'

Sora smiled as he thought 'Hana's match was pretty good, she easily beat
Kaminari whose quirk could fry her immediately; I guess the boost
given by her quirk isn't anything small.
*sigh* I should head to the stage'
before he headed to the stage.

Sora stood in the field, his eyes fixed on his opponent Tokoyami, who also had
his eyes set on him.
"BEGIN!!"
As soon as Tokoyami heard this, he charged at Sora who had his hands in his
pocket and immediately upon reaching 6 meters away from him, he released
dark shadow and the bird-like shadow outstretched its huge claws as it slashed
at Sora, who yawned seeing it.
As the claws reached in front of him, they seemed to have been deflected as
they both went opposite ways.
This surprised many including Tokoyami but he didn't dwell on it much as he
ordered dark shadow to continue the assault but it was to no avail as each
strike got deflected immediately.
Sora seeing this, sighed dejected as he thought 'damn, I was wrong. Sometimes, I forget how op I am' before he looked at Tokoyami in the eye and
said "welp, time to end this"
Immediately, he vanished and reappeared behind him and tried to chop him
but he failed as dark shadow appeared, successfully tanking the attack.
Sora was slightly surprised by its speed but he shrugged it off as him being too
slow as he reappeared in his previous position and as soon as he did, he had to
shift to the right as a claw missed him by the hair.
'Not bad' Sora thought as he launched again at Tokoyami and unlike last time,
he targeted the neck and though dark shadow tried to block it again, he was
unable to as Sora created a hand which suppressed it and it could only watch
as Sora stroke Tokoyami down.
"With that, Class 1A's Sora Menhera MOVES ON!!"
Sora sighed as he headed to the students seats.
Immediately upon arriving there, he was bombarded with their varying
comments
"Wow Menhera, that was so cool"
"Damn dude, I never knew you had that in you"
"What was that thing that stopped dark shadow?"
"Please SHUT UP!"
Sora shouted silencing them all, he sighed as he massaged his temples before
saying "okay, I'll answer your questions one at a time" before he began
explaining how things went about.

Before anyone knew it, the second rounds were about beginning and Sora
immediately sat up straight as he prepared to watch the first match of the
second round: Izuku Midoriya vs. Shoto Todoroki.
And immediately, the match began.
