8 | Eri

After making everyone in the compound forget about their time in the Yakuza organisation with oblivion, I went towards where Eri is imprisoned. And it didn't take that long for me to reach the room where she was kept.

Opening the door I went inside and saw no one in the room. The room only had one bed with a pillow and sheet nothing else. Then in the corner between the bed and the walls I saw Her sitting there with her head down onto her knees. She was wearing a hospital gown as her clothes and she had bandages all over her body. Seeing that my heart bled a little as she's my cousin, whom I consider as my little sister.

So I went near her slowly, and I could see that she was shaking like a leaf when the wind blew. As soon as I reached her, I knelt before her slowly, and called out her name very softly "Eri."

Hearing my voice she looked up instantly and with a quivering voice she asked me "Big.... brother?"

I just nodded at her and slowly took my mask off and showed his face to her. Seeing his face tears started to fall from her eyes and a happy smile was plastered on her face and she jumped straight to him and hugged him like a kola would.

He gently stroked her back as he hugged her back with all the love he had for this little angel of a girl. As for Eri, tears kept rolling down her cheeks with her head resting on his shoulder. Couple of seconds later she started to mumble "Thank you. Thank you.thank you.thank you.thank you." Repeatedly.

Hearing that he chuckled and said "If I didn't save you from here, would I have the gall to call myself your big brother?"

At that a melodious sound was heard from Her as she started giggling at what he said.

Then separating her from the hug, which Eri was reluctant to do, but she still let go of him.

Looking at Eri's eyes he said "If anyone asked you if you knew the one had come here, you have to say that you didn't know who it was, as you were inside this room, only answer like this if someone asks you about me. Can you promise me that? It will be a secret between the two of us."

Eri nodded her head with a happy expression thinking that it would be a secret between her and her big brother.

Smiling at her he said "I have called the police and they will be here in a couple of minutes. Until they reach here, I'll be with you here okay? After I leave they will take you to the hospital and they will inform me as I'm your immediate family member now, so I will come and get you as soon as possible okay."

"Okay." Eri replied, the smile didn't leave her face until he was with her.

But when the sound of the police siren was heard he saw her face go gloomy and fearful, so stroking her head and kissing on her cheek he said "Don't worry I will see you in a bit okay."

Eri nodded at him and with a pop, he vanished from the room.

Ten minutes after he left, the police found Eri and took her to the hospital as fast as they could and searched in the records to find the immediate family member.

In the Todoroki residence an hour after Enji left to find some clue on Unknown, Hanas phone rang. She took it without looking at the number and said "Hello."

[Is this Hana Watanabe?]

"Yes, who is this?" Hana asked.

[This is the police, do you have a cousin named Eri of age five] The police officer asked.

"Yes I do! What happened to her?" Hana asked worriedly and all the members of Todoroki family and her grandparents looked at her, as worry and fear was ever present on her face.

[Do not worry. She is safe. Right now she's in our care in the General Hospital. If you could come here with your brother as soon as you can, we could start questioning Eri.]

Hearing that anger started to surface over her fear and worry as she asked "What do you need to interrogate a five year old child for?"

[Miss... ] The officer didn't finish his sentence as someone else took the phone from him and a familiar voice was heard by Hana [Hana, you have to come here with Haruto and your grandparents.]

"Uncle?" Hana asked the new speaker as it was the voice of Enji who left the residence an hour ago.

But she's the only lead to the murder of the Shie Hassaikai Yakuza organisation and other murders that have been happening all over Japan for the past six months. Then looking at her grandparents and the rest she said "The police have Eri in General Hospital we have to be there so that the police could question Eri on the Unknown vigilante."

Both the elders nodded at her and Touya and Fuyumi decided to go with them to the hospital.
