Ch 63 – Flying

"Woah! There's so many flowers!" said by Anna as they neared the large garden he previously went to as they walk around the path of flowers.

"Wanna eat here?" ask by Vlad as he took out a large blanket from his storage ring and made it float.

"What's that!?" ask by Anna in shock.

"Oh, it's just a simple floating spell, look, we can ride on top of it" said by Vlad as he hops on top of the large white blanket and patted on it, indicating for her to hop on it.

"Is it safe?" ask by Anna as she touches the floating blanket with curious eyes and felt how hard it was, like it was mad out of steel.

"Woah, why is it so hard?" ask by Anna.

"Oh, I just reinforced its hardness so it doesn't flap as much, come on, just ride on top of it, I promise you it will be really cool" said by Vlad with a smile as Anna blushes.

"Sigh, why not" said by Anna with a helpless smile as she slowly put her feet on top of it and felt how solid it was, and with that bit of confidence she gained, she slowly put her whole body on top of the blanket as she looks down and indeed, they were floating off the ground.

"Wow! Were flying!" said by Anna as Vlad chuckled.

"What do you mean floating? Were just a few centimeters off the ground" said by Vlad with a silly smile while a magic circle suddenly appeared below the blanket which Anna saw as she was currently looking down.

"What's that?" ask by Anna in wonder.

"Buckle up!" said by Vlad as Anna felt Vlad tugging her back as she saw that they are slowly floating higher and higher into the air as she saw a grand view of the academy.

"Wow!" said by Anna as she looks around high above the sky as she saw the students around the campus look like tiny ants.

"Its cool right?" ask by Vlad with a grin.

"Yeah!" said by Anna as she neared the edge and felt something like a barrier stopping her from going over the edge and falling to her death.

"Hehe, so where do you wanna go? We can eat while we fly over there" said by Vlad as he took out some plates of meat out of nowhere from his storage ring.

"Is that Ham from a Greenwood Boar? How did you get it?" ask by Anna with wide eyes as she look at the plates of ham that has some hints of green around it.

"Is it special?" ask by Vlad with confuse eyes.

"Yes, it's a very special meat that is very expensive" said by Anna with a raise eyebrow.

"Oh, I didn't know that, a dead animal was just in front of my house one day so I decided to just you know, not waste it and eat it for myself" said by Vlad with an innocent face.

"How lucky is that!?" said by Anna with a shock face.

"Enough about that, take out the bread already" said by Vlad.

"Fine, here" said by Anna as she took out the bread and put it on one of the baskets.

"Nice! So where do you wanna go while we eat stuff?" ask by Vlad as he grabs some slices of bread and also some Greenwood Ham as he made a normal sandwich.

"Let's just go in circles" said by Anna as she also made her own sandwich and added some vegetables.

"Sure" said by Vlad as the blanket started to slowly move around while they ate in peace and enjoyed the magnificent view from high above.

"Look, there are some birds flying over" said by Vlad while pointing at some cute birds who landed on their floating blanket.

"Want some bread?" ask by Vlad to the birds.

"Anna, the bird said it wants some bread" said by Vlad to Anna.

"Here you go" said by Anna as she took out a piece of bread and lied it down to the ground and gave the small group of birds a treat.

"Want some water?" ask by Vlad to Anna as a cup appeared in his hands while a magic circle appeared that filled the wooden cup with some water.

"Thanks" said by Anna as she drunk the water and gave the cup back to Vlad while the birds flew away already.

"Ngh, that was a fun ride, but you wanna know what's better than flying with a blanket?" ask by Vlad.

"What?" ask by Anna.

"This" said by Vlad as she snaps his fingers as tons of things simultaneously happened, the barrier that protected them from the air vanish, they were both flung off the blanket due to the strong air pressure, a green magic circle suddenly appeared behind both of their back as they started to both free fall towards the ground.

"VLAD! We're falling to the ground!" said by Anna in a panic stricken voice.

"Haha!" said by Vlad as Anna suddenly felt her body stopping in mid air and felt her mind connect to the magic circle behind her back as she felt like she could…

"Woah! I can fly!?" ask by Anna in wonder as she flew around with sparkly eyes.

"Yep! You should have seen your face when we were falling to the ground" said by Vlad with a teasing smile while Anna pouted.

"Well, it's your fault! I thought we were gonna die you know" said by Anna as she continued to fly around.

"Well, I guess it was a bit dangerous but come on, its more surprising that way" said by Vlad with a smile as he flew around near Anna.

"You're kinda right" said by Anna with a helpless smile.

"So, Anna, do you mind if I ask you a question?" ask by Vlad.

"What is it?" ask by Anna.

"Do you… want to learn magic?" ask by Vlad with a smile.

"W- what!?" said by Anna with a shock face.

"Come on, it would be fun" said by Vlad with a smile.

"Of course, I would love to learn magic!" said by Anna with a smile.

"Nice, even though we are gonna learn magic from school in the first place so its not that cool" said by Vlad with a smile.

"Come on, you're making it less impactful, but when do we start?" ask by Anna.

"Whenever you want" said by Vlad.

"Nice!" said by Anna with a smile as they flew around the sky in joy, enjoying the cold breeze and the sunny weather as the other students on the ground just saw two small dots moving around the air in erratic ways.
