(General POV)

"Villains!? No way! What villains would be so dumb to sneak into a school for heroes!?" Eijiro exclaimed, and to his credit, made a lot of sense.

Villains weren't stupid people. They wouldn't have come here just for the sake of making trouble and getting caught. That meant that if they were here, there had to be some ulterior motive behind their actions and a way to escape if things got dicey.

Yasuo narrowed his eyes at the black fog that was still seemingly conjuring more villains. If he had to guess, that black fog that could possibly be some sort of a teleportation quirk was their escape plan.

'And as for their ulterior motive…' He looked around at his gathered classmates, 'What better way to simultaneously demoralize society while enacting their villainous plot than killing off the next generation of pro-heroes before we have the time to develop?'

"Sensei, aren't there intruder alarms?" Momo asked. She knew that as the deputy class president, she had to remain level headed even during moments of crisis. And as Momo glanced at Yasuo who looked to be analysing the situation and likely figuring out countermeasures, she realized she had to do her part as well.

"Yes, of course there are, but-!" Thirteen started but was cut off by Todoroki.

"But we don't know if they are only here, or they have also attacked the main building. Either way, if the sensors aren't working, it has to be one of their quirks that is doing it. This place is off campus, and they picked a time when there'd be few people here. They must have an objective, because this is a well-coordinated sneak attack." Shoto concluded as he glared at the gathered villains below from his vantage point.

Yasuo started layering his Psychic Armor. There was no telling what could happen in this moment of crisis, so it was better safe than sorry.

"Thirteen! Begin evacuation! And try calling the school! One of these villains must be jamming the sensors, so there is a good chance one of their electric-types is causing the interference." Aizawa shouted, barking orders, "Kaminari! Try using your quirk to call for help!"

Denki jumped, before answering, "Got it!"

Izuku stepped forward, shouting, "But sensei! You can't fight them all alone! Against that many of them, even you can't nullify all their quirks! As Eraserhead, your fighting style involves erasure of quirks and a quick binding capture. Head-on battle isn't-"

Yasuo interrupted him, "He doesn't have to!" He turned towards Aizawa with a determined look, "Aizawa-sensei, let me help you!"

Aizawa turned back and glared, "This is no time to play hero! Your first priority is to stay away and keep yourself safe! Leave this to the adults, you dumbass!"

However Yasuo was not deterred, "You know my quirk, Aizawa-sensei! These villains, I can get rid of them all at once even if I stay right here! Besides, I can also create a barrier that will protect the class at the same time!"

"Then just concentrate on the barrier! You have to give Kaminari time to send a message to the school!" He shot back.

Yasuo glared. Visions of the manbearpig crushing the shitty manager crossed his mind again. It seemed that recently, ever since he entered U.A., he was being reminded of that scene more and more often. But it was also because of that, Yasuo would never let himself stand back helplessly and let someone get hurt because he couldn't do anything about it.

"There's a difference between being a hero and being stubborn, Aizawa-sensei! You can only protect us if you keep yourself safe as well!"

Aizawa narrowed his eyes, "Don't underestimate pro-heroes you brat…" But then he sighed and relented, "Fine, but stay up here and under the barrier. Support only. But you're still getting scolded once we get out of here, you understand?"

Yasuo smiled, relieved that he was given permission to act and a chance to prevent someone from getting hurt, "I understand, sensei. I will take whatever punishment you deem fit once this is over!"

At Aizawa's concession, the other more aggressive students stepped forward, wanting a piece of the villains for themselves as well, "Sensei! Then let us join too!"

However, this time Aizawa was unrelenting, "Absolutely not! The rest of you are to stay here and evacuate with Thirteen!"

The only reason he had given Yasuo to help was because he had seen with his very own eyes how versatile and how destructive his quirk was. Especially in a mass battle like this with many enemies. But even then, it was with strict conditions.

The other students, however, did not have as long a range as Yasuo. They would have to jump down themselves in order to effectively use their quirk, and that was just a recipe for disaster. His pride as a teacher and as a pro-hero would never allow these promising students to endanger themselves so recklessly. Not if he could help it.

Bakugo growled, but with the explicit instruction given by Aizawa, he had to relent. And so did the other students who had expressed their desire to help.

"I'm going, Yasuo!" With that, Aizawa leapt down, unravelling his scarf to use as a weapon.

Yasuo acknowledged the call by constructing a barrier around the class before extending his Psychic Sense throughout the facility. There was no telling if there were any villains with an camouflage or invisibility quirk, so it was better to be cautious. But the Psychokinesis quirk user widened his eyes when he did.

"Thirteen-sensei! There are a few dozen more villains scattered throughout USJ! I think they are waiting to ambush people!" Yasuo reported.

"Wha-!? How do you know this!" The Space Hero asked, although her mind was more focused on planning their evacuation route. The main exit was right behind them, so they would at least have a head start if they ran now. But if the villains had planned things to this extent, they might have also prepared an ambush at the exit as well.

"It's part of my quirk ability!" Yasuo answered. This was no time to hide things, he realized. At this moment, the safety of his class mates and his teachers was way more important than keeping his Psychic Sense a secret.

Thirteen was silent for a moment, pondering whether or not she could believe the words of a first year student, but quickly realized that there was no other alternative. Plus, if Aizawa trusted the boy before her to allow him to help out, she had to believe in Eraserhead's judgement of character.

"Fine. Are there any villains outside USJ?" She asked.

Yasuo shook his head, "None that I can sense. They are all contained inside USJ. It's almost like they are waiting for something."

He then turned his attention back to the main square, where Aizawa was already taking down several villains with his scarf and Erasure quirk.

In the main square, several villains were attacking Aizawa. However, with their quirks erased, the villains who had always relied on the strength of their quirks to do evil could not resist against Eraserhead who had trained extensively in hand-to-hand combat.

"Thirteen and Eraserhead? Hey, Kurogiri, where is All Might? Didn't you say he was going to be here?" Tomura said, his eyes looking around to try to spot the cursed Symbol of Peace.

"According to the staff schedule I received the other day, All Might is supposed to be here…" Kurogiri replied.

Tomura whipped his head up, disappointed and enraged. But his was a cold fury; a menacing and insidious rage sharpened in to a single purpose – to kill All Might.

"Where is he…? We've come all this way, and brought so many playmates… All Might, the Symbol of Peace… why isn't he here?" He then looked coldly at the students gathered at the top of the piazza, "I wonder if some dead kids will bring him here?"

Several of the villains had been preparing to swarm Eraser head when suddenly an invisible and unrelenting force wrapped around their bodies and froze their movements.

"Wh-what the!? What is this!?" Some of them cried out.

Many of the cannon fodder villains could not move a single inch nor muscle, as though they were cemented in place under solidified concrete. They could still breathe, and their eyes could still move around, but their arms and legs refused to budge.

The next moment, however, Yasuo thrusted out his hands and instantly all of the gathered villains that had frozen in place were lifted up and slammed back down into the ground. He could have crushed them with his Phantom hands just like did the faux villains during the Entrance Exam, but he also knew there were limits to the intensity of injuries pro-heroes were allowed to inflict on villains. Which is why he was limiting himself to just enough power to hopefully knock them out.

Aizawa stopped his actions and glanced back to see Yasuo floating in mid air with a steely gaze focused on the villains around him. He silently thanked his student before moving on to secure the downed villains.

Kurogiri who was still in his mist form was unaffected, as Yasuo was mainly focused on the villains in Aizawa's immediate surroundings since he was instructed only to support. Similarly, Tomura as well as the Nomu who had been hanging back and watching Aizawa beat up their hired henchmen was not affected.

"Huh?" Tomura thought out loud, "What is happening?"

Kurogiri, his ever faithful servant looked up, "That is not Eraserhead's ability… it must be one of the students…"

"How annoying. Why are mobs trying to interfere in a side-boss battle? Kurogiri, go deal with them."

Kurogiri spread out his dark fog and disappeared from the main square.

"Great! Students let's go! We have to evacuate!" Thirteen yelled out upon witnessing Yasuo's display. Initially, she did not believe Yasuo could have done much to help Aizawa, but after seeing that, she had to admit that she was wrong.

The students followed Thirteen's direction and began moving in the direction of the exit, but a dark fog manifested itself before them. A dark figure, hidden underneath the black mist coldly spoke out, "I won't allow that."

Yasuo cursed. As he suspected, it was a teleportation quirk.

"Greetings. We are the league of villains. Forgive our audacity, but today, we have come to U.A. Highschool – this nation's bastion of heroism… to end the life of the Symbol of Peace."

The faces of every student there darkened at that proclamation. Villains? Here to kill All Might? How utterly preposterous… yet one of these villains had appeared before their very eyes and uttered that very declaration.

The dark figure continued, "We were under the impression that All Might would be here today, but… it seems his schedule was revised? Well, no matter… my role remains unchanged."

Before he could continue however, Bakugo and Eijiro had ran forward and tried attacking using their respective quirks – only to run into the barrier Yasuo had set up.

"What the!? Ink-hair! Is this your doing!?" Bakugo yelled out slamming his fist against the barrier.

Yasuo replied, "Aizawa instructed me to protect the class with my barrier. Stand down, Bakugo, Eijiro!"

"Hoh? A Barrier quirk? Or is it something else? Were you the one responsible for the performance below?" The villain mused, "How interesting… He will definitely be very interested once he learns of you… what is your name?"

Yasuo narrowed his eyes and smirked. While the villain was busy talking, he had checked him out with his Psychic Sense. Although the villain looked like he was made up of immaterial darkness, underneath all that black fog… was a body! That meant he could be injured!

Ignoring the question, Yasuo flexed his hands and mentally willed a crushing psychic energy to impact against the villain. The invisible force formed into what Yasuo could only describe as a massive fist and smashed it against the tangible body beneath the dark fog.

However, contrary to his expectations, the fist flew through the dark fog but hit nothing.

"I knew you would try do something like that." The yellow glowing orbs that appeared to be his eyes reformed in another direction, before the dark mist spread out and threatened to envelop the barrier.

Kurogiri had predicted that the child would probably try attack him, so the moment he spotted Yasuo flexing his hands, he knew something was coming. And at that moment, he left the dark fog in its place while already teleporting to another location.

"Begone!" Kurogiri declared, but the fog could not penetrate through the barrier. And without making physical contact with his targets, his warp gate ability would not activate.

If that was the case… Kurogiri then vanished from his position and reappeared inside the barrier. The dark mist instantly spreading out. However, before his dark mist could make contact with any of the students within, Yasuo intervened.

Yasuo glared at the villain, slightly irked that his initial attempt at taking down the villain had failed. 'If a direct attack with Phantom Hands won't work, then I just need to stop him from moving first!'

Using his Psychic Sense, he accurately grasped hold of the location of Kurogiri's body before once more willing his Psychokinesis to exert pressure on Kurogiri's material body.

Kurogiri widened his eyes underneath the dark fog once he felt that he could no longer move his body. "How did you…!?"

Kurogiri was baffled. What was the boy's quirk exactly? How could he see his body under his protective black fog, and how could such pressure be placed on his body even despite it? His quirk seemed similar to that new up-and-coming villain, Stain, who could paralyze his opponents through as of yet unknown means…

Yasuo took a moment to consider how best to stop this foe. A teleportation quirk was dangerous, since at any moment the villain could take hold of his classmates and bring them somewhere dangerous like back to their lair. Yet at the same time, he didn't know how sturdy this villain was – if too much power was used, he might die.

He was here at U.A. to learn to be a hero, not a murderer. And unless forced into desperate straits, Yasuo did not want to resort to killing.

Yasuo made a decision. A crushing force was wrapped around Kurogiri's body, and his bones ached in response.

"Not good!" Kurogiri realized and activated his quirk to bring him back to Tomura's side. The good thing about his artificial quirk that was made with a combination of multiple quirks was that it did not require him to move his body to create the dark fog. The manipulation and creation of the dark fog could be wielded mentally.

But before he could even focus and bring himself away, the Phantom Hand that gripped Kurogiri clenched its invisible fist and Kurogiri's ribs cracked against the pressure.

'This… is bad!' Was his last thought before his quirk finally activated and brought him back down to the main square.

During the confrontation between Kurogiri and Yasuo, Aizawa had continued clashing against the gathered villains. Although he had been worried when the black fog had suddenly disappeared after he heard the man whose face was covered by a severed hand give instruction.

Tomura eyed Kurogiri who reappeared next to him, "Are you done dealing with those mobs?"

Kurogiri grunted out in pain, his cracked ribs making it painful to even speak, "There is a child here, with a powerful quirk. He-"

Before he finished speaking, the same invisible force was once more wrapped around his body and smashed him against the ground, as though gravity had multiplied by a hundred fold in his immediate vicinity.

Cracks formed on the concrete Kurogiri was smashed in as he cried out in pain, "Kuagh!"

Tomura's eyes widened at the sight before glancing up where the students he had initially dismissed were.

"So, we have a cheater on our hands." He remarked with slight hesitance in his voice.

"Time to punish the mobs! Nomu!" With the order finally given, the massive hulking black beast that had been waiting patiently by the side moved.

To what extent can and should Yasuo crush the villains? It's a question I find myself having difficulty answering as I wrote this arc.

His quirk is powerful, yes, but at the same time he is still inexperienced using it. He may have a lot of control using it on objects, but not so much on people.

Just like how Midoriya unconsciously held back when he punched a person for the first time using OFA, so too is Yasuo unconsciously holding back from just pulverizing the villains instantly. At least that is what I'm trying to get at writing this arc.
