It has been a week since the incident at the mall and for the first time since she was transmigrated, her mother started to teach her about the world other than their daily alphabets and sometimes mathematics.

Her mother's teachings were incredible, as evident with the speed in which Erika learned the two languages her mother uses on a daily basis, which were Tagalog and Cebuano. She can understand most of what her mother says, it was her speaking that was a bit rusty with the languages. The vocal expression was more outwardly than it was the clicks and roars she was used to in her old language, nonetheless she was more than happy to be able to communicate with her mother effectively.

To continue off of the fact that her mother was an amazing teacher; the woman began a new lesson in their one on one tutoring.

"I think it's time that I tell you about how it works outside of our little home." Her mother had gently told her as they cuddled on the nursery's floor. She sounded as defeated as she was excited. The woman positioned Erika so she faced her mother in the eyes, "You must have been so scared yesterday, weren't you, my sweet?"

Erika remained silent, unsure on how to respond to the question.

Her silence was taken by her mother as response to trauma as the sadness in her ruby eyes dimmed their bright color. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that."

Erika then frowned as she shook her head, she angrily buried her head back in the crook of her mother's neck. "Ma. potect." She said with a finality in her tone.

The response surprised her mother, laughing loudly after a beat of silence passed by. The woman tried to position Erika again to face her but the little baby wouldn't budge from where she was currently snuggling. When her methods of coercion didn't work, the woman simply gave up with a happy smile.

"My babygirl is so smart. I knew you easily absorbed everything that I have taught you, but not to this extent." She began caressing the little amount that was already growing on Erika's head, "Yesterday must have been terrifying."

Erika suddenly sat up, her glare still fixated on her face as she pointed it at the woman she proudly calls her ma. "Ma! Ma cool! Not scared. Ma protect!"

The older woman smiled wide, the words resonated within her heart despite it almost being unintelligible. Maybe that's what brought the moment to the edge, despite knowing that she wasn't very good with speaking her daughter would always try to talk with her and compliment her at any time she gets.

Seeing her mother smile and the sadness in her eyes be replaced by something akin to pride, Erika let go of her glare, "No think bad. Mama ugly when sad."

Her mother laughed freely and loudly. "Dyos ko po1, you're blunt!"

Erika puffed her chest out in a bit of an all knowing manner, "Is true. True, ma ugly sad!"

"Alright alright. Mama doesn't want to be ugly," She said, "Now, I think we're getting distracted. We still have a few hours before I need to prepare lunch. How about I teach you how that hero managed to blow fire from his elbow!"

Her mother picked the both of them from the floor and placed Erika in her learning chair at the other end of the nursery where they dedicate most of their little lectures to. She placed the rubix cube in front of Erika to play with as she prepared her teachings to the little infant. Erika still doesn't know how the puzzle worked but turning the sides were satisfying to her and often helped her in focusing more on the lectures her mother did.

From then on, the next couple of days her mother covered only on quirks in her lectures after their little games at the beginning of the lessons.

She was first taught of the history of quirk, how it had mysteriously appeared in China with a baby that glowed a bright light. With this phenomenon came a string of events of people around the world slowly developing a quirk unique to their own. The distribution of power was not easily measured and with the number of people manifesting quirks increasing, the government was slow to take action, therefore multiple incidents had happened.

A lot of people started using their quirks for bad things. From thievery to a full blown massacre. It was chaos. A new hierarchy was formed, those with quirks often bullying the minority without them. It was at the midst of the Chaos that the people took the matters in their own hands and started the first generation of heroes to keep the Villains at bay.

She learned a lot of theories in that subject as well, how quirks could be the cause of an unknown virus spread by mice. Or another that stated that it was just a natural next step of human evolution, which seemed like an unlikely thing for Erika to believe.

At the end, she also formalised her own theory on the matter. Her theory was obviously rooted to magic as it was the topic that she knew of the most.

One of her theories was that the magic accumulated through centuries before it finally began to show itself to the world. Like how the demonic continent had been formed in her old world.

Another theory that she particularly believed the most was that a third party had awakened the dormant skill that was related to the world that was somehow sealed in the olden times. Her reference came from the worlds she had visited in her last life, magic developed so strongly in some of the worlds that it started to destroy itself to neutralise the threat of its own of disrupting the natural flow of mana outside of their own atmosphere.

However, in this world, instead of obliterating every living organism that had the power to manifest and control mana, it sealed the very mana to begin with. Maybe that's the reason why the air wasn't as deadly as it was in her old world.

At the moment, while Erika thought of this theory as the most likely one, she still does not have the accumulated evidence to really mark it as the truth. So with that final note, she shelved her theories and went on to learn more about quirks.

After history, her mother taught her the different categories of quirks that existed out there. Emitter, Transformation, and Mutation. How one can classify in each category and the different purposes of their existence that modern research had managed to find out.

It was in this lesson that Erika finally asked a question she can already guess the answer to, "Does Ma have quirk?"

The woman, while sad, still managed to smile widely as she flexed her bicep showing off a surprising amount of muscle. "No. I do not! However, that doesn't mean anything with my innate talents and skills. I still managed to rise higher in ranks in the Navy due to pure will alone. My superiors and comrades often tell me that I have no chill with how much I trained back then, and they were right!"

Erika smiled with her, just as wide and just as joyful, "Ma is best!"

She laughed at her daughter's antics before pecking her cheeks for the nth time that day, "One day you'll inflate my head with so much compliments that I might think I have a chance against someone like All Might! Alright, let's get back to the lesson."

Erika enjoyed her time with her mother and listened to the rest of the lesson with interest. However, there was a question that itched at the back of her head that she doesn't know when she can ask her mother.

'Who's All Might?'
