20: Stunt or Warning...?

After the fight came Momo's brutally honest assessment of them.

She talked about how Todoroki could have surrounded the Weapon in a wall of ice, or how Ojiro shouldn't have rushed towards Tokoyami so recklessly.

All Might sweat-dropped since he didn't have the chance to give his assessment. But he did manage to give out advice to all of them. After that, he immediately rushed out of the room as smoke slowly started coming out of his body. Fortunately for him, none of the students noticed this.

No class followed Heroics Class, meaning Class A was dismissed earlier than the others. The whole class then got out of their costumes, preparing to go home. When they reached their classroom, the students saw Bakugo leave the room with an angrier-than-usual expression.

A bandaged-up Midoriya entered the room not long after, asking for the explosive teen.

...

"Come on guys, let's not spy on the Lovers' Quarrel," Yusuke jokingly said to the people standing by the windows, looking at Midoriya and Bakugo's figures.

A few snickers could be heard as the peeping students pulled away from the windows.

"Hah! Let's go, Red!" a mohawked student exclaimed to a smiling Kirishima.

"Goodbye, everyone!" Momo told them, leaving the room with her silent new friend.

Yusuke looked around the room, suddenly missing his childhood friend.

'Sigh, I wish Minacchi was here.'

But, he shrugged the thoughts away, believing that they would be together always was just wishful thinking.

Leaving the room, he spotted his seatmate, Sen Kaibara.

"Hey, Kaibacchi!" he shouted.

"Hm? Oh, Yoarashi-san."

"Hey, I have some questions about your quirk." the yellow-haired teen said.

The black-haired teen looked at him questioningly before shrugging, "Sure, ask away."

...

The two students talked to each other until they had to separate at the Train Station.

Walking to his house, he looked up at the dark sky.

"Looks like it's going to rain... I hope Inacchi and Minacchi brought their umbrellas," he spoke.

Just then, the cold wind started becoming slightly violent, and his hair was blown upwards.

"Right! My hair... I noticed this during the match too. I think it's become too long now." he said with a shy smile.

He decided to get a haircut on Saturday, which was four days from now.

Yusuke's days in school were normal. They didn't have Heroics Class for the rest of the week since Class A was only scheduled to have it on Mondays and Tuesdays. Later on, the teen learned that Class B has All Might's Heroics Class on Thursday and Friday.

Moving on, he had normal days... but that changed on Friday.

Arriving in front of U.A, the students could see that the entrance was blocked by a barricade of eager reporters.

They were a few reporters a few days ago, but today was significantly worse. The reporters were asking questions, mostly about All Might and his ways of teaching. Seeing that they were distracted by Iida's extremely long answer, Yusuke stealthily sneaked in.

"Hey, wait...!" someone exclaimed, clicking their tongue.

The yellow-haired teen snickered when he saw an annoyed Aizawa walking toward the reporters.

After talking with them, a greedy, hard-headed reporter stepped their foot past the gate causing it to close aggressively.

...

"Sorry for the sudden announcement, but today..."

'What is it?! Is it another brutal surprise quiz?!' the class thought in unison.

"You guys will need to pick a Class President."

"A normal school-like thing!"

Pandemonium broke out, but Iida quieted them down, suggesting choosing the Class President through an election.

"Do what you guys want." their Homeroom Teacher told them, plopping on the floor in his yellow sleeping bag.

...

Yusuke already decided on who he wanted to vote.

While it seems fun to command- ahem- advise his fellow classmates, he doesn't think that he's suited for the position. That's why he voted for Momo.

But, alas, fate had something else in mind for him.

______________

Final Results:

Momo Yaoyorozu- 4 votes

Yusuke Yoarashi- 2 votes

Izuku Midoriya- 2 votes

Katsuki Bakugo- 1 votes

Togaru Kamakiri- 1 votes

...

Yui Kodai- 0 votes

Tenya Iida- 0 votes

Fumikage Tokoyami- 0 votes

______________

"Eh? I-I got t-two votes?!" Midoriya shouted in surprise.

"Two votes? Who voted for me?" Yusuke asked out loud, and his question was immediately answered when his seatmate spoke. "You were pretty smart in class, so I thought you could do it."

"Eh, you, Kaibacchi? Who's the other one?"

A bird-headed student spoke a few seats away from them, "During the Heroics Class, you were quite quick on your feet, and your instructions were easy to understand, Yoarashi-san."

"Oh... Well, thanks, guys! But, it's a tie." the yellow-haired student told them with a smile.

"N-no, you can be the Class Vice-President, Y-Yoarashi-san!" Midoriya said, stuttering in nervousness.

"Then, it's settled. Yaoyorozu-san is the Class President, while Yoarashi-san is the Class Vice-President." Iida announced to Aizawa in a downcast mood.

"Let's do our best, Yoarashi-san," Momo told Yusuke.

"Yeah, then I'll be in your care, Momocchi." he replied with a smile.

...

After a few classes, it was time for lunch...

Yusuke sat with his classmates, while Mina and Inasa sat with theirs.

His table was quite rowdy, with Bakugo and Togaru always butting heads. Only Kirishima could calm them down. Nonetheless, he was fine with it since it made lunchtime enjoyable.

<"Security Level Three has been broken. All Students. Please evacuate in an orderly fashion.">

"Security Level Three?!" someone exclaimed.

"It means that someone infiltrated the school!" a third-year student answered.

Pure chaos erupted in the cafeteria once they heard the student's answer. All of them rushed to get away from the cafeteria, and some were trampled in the process.

Yusuke scanned the room and saw his classmates being dragged away.

"Oi, f*ckers! Slow down!"

"Stop, you idiots!"

The yellow-haired teen took two metal trays, floated up, and banged them together loudly. He produced a strong blast of wind too, to get their attention.

Yusuke took a deep breath when the loud ting silenced the students, and shouted, "Everyone, everything's fine! Look outside, it's just the reporters you saw this morning!! They are harmless!"

"Eh? He's right! Look!" someone exclaimed.

"There's nothing to panic about! So, let's listen to the announcement and evacuate in a calm, orderly fashion!"

Audible sighs were heard all throughout the students.

...

The police arrived not soon after and took all the trespassing reporters away.

When the students were taken to their rooms, the teachers gathered outside, looking at a pile of dust that was once the enormous metallic gate.

"No ordinary reporter could have done this..." a rat-dog-bear hybrid spoke in a serious tone.

He stared at the dust...

Was this simply a stunt performed by someone or a warning that a greater threat has surfaced...?
