45 Chapter 44:- A Place To Call Home

[A/N:- I know you guys want action, and it's my mistake to go overboard with all the talks and all instead of action, sadly I can't skip any chapters since some plot points and some foreshadowing is done in these chapters with the bonding between Kaina and Izuku, Please bear with it a bit, to make sure that the boring chapters finish soon I'll be uploading 1 extra chapter so that good things start soon

He wasn't going to lie, just like Kaina felt calm being in Izuku's presence, Izuku felt the same, he never showed it, but his heart was always calm when he knew Kaina was around.

The sense of someone being there for him, caring for him, treating him like someone close was something he longed for, he wanted that feeling, and he got all that from Kaina,

Kaina was everything Izuku longed for, even acting like a mother figure for him, a role that Fuyumi had also played in his life. However, there was an invisible line between Izuku and Fuyumi that neither of them could cross, limiting how much he could reveal to her. He had to be careful about what he said, which prevented him from fully relaxing.

Moreover, Izuku only got to see Fuyumi once a week for two to three hours, which was not enough time for him to completely relax and unwind from the bullying he endured all week. No matter how hard Fuyumi tried, Izuku couldn't shake the feeling that he couldn't ease the pain of the entire week in just a few hours

Izuku knew he couldn't rely on Fuyumi to be available for him all the time. There was an awkward hesitation between them that made both of them reserved. This, along with other factors, prevented their relationship from being as close as Izuku had developed with Kaina.

Kaina understood Izuku's pain without him having to open up about his past. He knew she had gone through something similar, so he could relate to and depend on her for understanding. Kaina also lived with Izuku 24/7, which allowed him to truly relax and ease his pain. He knew that Kaina would always be there to calm him down, even when he had nightmares.

Izuku could embrace Kaina whenever he needed and wanted to, and he knew that she trusted him wholeheartedly. She had opened up about her past to him without hiding anything within hours of their meeting. Izuku felt a deep bond form between them, based on trust and understanding. This bond helped him to soften up a bit, and he decided to be more genuine and caring towards Kaina, not wanting to let her go.

As in the back of his head, the only thing he wanted was for someone to love him and care for him unconditionally and always be by his side, in his growing years, someone whom he could rely on deeply and talk about anything without any worry, someone to support him emotionally when he needs it.

A role generally fulfilled by mothers, the first woman a boy falls in love with.

However, due to his being quirkless, his mother never acted like a mother, so Izuku had no one to fulfill this role.

Then he met Fuyumi and thought that she could fulfill that role, but the limited time between them and the awkwardness between them stopped it from growing anymore.

Then he met Kaina, who fulfilled that role, and filled the gap in his heart, as he knew she would always be there for him, he finally was able to build a bond that he craved subconsciously, he could be himself, show his messed up and complex side to her, and she would accept it wholeheartedly without judging him, it brought ease to him, his heart calmed down, all the emotions he couldn't feel in the last 8 years, he could feel them.

That made him want to protect her at any cost, that was the reason he had decided to put his trust in her, which also made Izuku really grateful for Kaina, He finally had a place to call home.

Izuku was so overwhelmed right now that he subconsciously had tears well up in his eyes, as his grip on Kaina tightened, in response to which Kaina also subconsciously tightened her grip on him.

They stayed in each other's embrace, not wanting to separate.

Kaina was calm as well, as she found someone whom she could confide in completely without getting judged, someone who didn't care about her past, and just cared for her, treated her like a human, she had subconsciously turned possessive of Izuku, not wanting to let Izuku go, and her motherly instinct activated, and all she wanted was good for Izuku, she felt she finally found home.

They both had found what they were looking for, they had completed each other, as Kaina and Izuku both had blissful expressions on their face as they both were emotionally satisfied.

After some time, Kaina woke up, she looked around and saw that she was in Izuku's embrace, both holding each other tightly, she looked down and saw that she was fully clothed.

She had a smile on her face as she snuggled deeply into Izuku's embrace as she felt bliss.

"You awake?" asked Izuku as he felt Kaina moving.

"Yes, and I am really grateful to you for that," said Kaina.

"Grateful? What for?" asked Izuku

"Grateful that you aren't a pervert who wants to hug a beautiful naked woman," said Kaina with a smile on her face.

"Ohhh please, I have already seen you naked, I don't need to act like a pervert, and if I want to see you naked it's not like you won't comply," said Izuku.

"Ohhh please, what do you take me for?" asked Kaina.

"A beautiful mature woman whom I care too much about," said Izuku.

"What do you expect me to say after that?" Asked Kaina as she blushed.

"I think, I love you Izuku would do," said Izuku with a smirk.

Kaina just hit his back as she snuggled deeply.

After a few minutes, she looked at Izuku and she said, "I love you Izuku,"

"I didn't expect you would actually say it," said Izuku.

"Well for what you have done for me, I think you deserve it," said Kaina with a genuine lovely smile.

"If that's the case then I want more than just I love you," said Izuku.

"What do you want?" Asked Kaina.

"How about a kiss, I think that will do," said Izuku with a smirk.

"Don't get too ahead of yourself kid," said Kaina as she kissed his forehead with love as she said, "Make do with this for now," as she hugged him once more trying to hide her face so as not to show the embarrassment on her face.

However, Izuku was smarter.

He just used his hands to position Kaina's face towards him as he said, "You look so cute, with this face who would say you are one of the deadliest assassins," said Izuku as he got happy seeing her flushed face.

"I am going to kill you," said Kaina as she was even more embarrassed as she tried hitting Izuku

"Didn't you just say you loved me, now you want to kill me, what's up with the sudden change of heart?" said Izuku with a fake sad expression as he immobilized her hands.

"You deserve it," said Kaina leaving his embrace.

"Sad, and here I was going to tell you my backstory." Said Izuku with a fake heartbroken look.

"No, I want to know, tell me tell me," said Kaina, getting all excited and curious as if the previous anger and embarrassment never existed to begin with.

Izuku just smirked as Kaina totally forgot about her anger and became curious, seeing the genuine innocent look filled with curiosity on her face, Izuku couldn't help but kiss her forehead and pat her head with love, as he said, "I am so glad to have you,"

Kaina flushed on listening to this yet she held Izuku in her embrace again as she said, "I should be the one to say that, you gave a new life to me, and that too in just 6 months, to someone who was dead on the inside, you made me feel all the emotions I thought I had forgotten and would never feel them, yet here I am acting as a normal girl would, and it's all thanks to you, you made me a better person, I don't know how can I repay you for it." said Kaina with a loving smile.

"Stay with me forever, never leave me alone ever," said Izuku tightening his grip on her, his hands were trembling a bit.

Feeling the tightness in Izuku's grip as his hands trembling Kaina had a really loving expression as she said, "Geez, I sometimes really forget you are just a 14 year old kid," as she tightened her grip on him as she caressed Izuku while saying, "Don't worry I will never leave you, I'll always stay with you, I promise" said Kaina as she caressed Izuku's head and kissed his forehead.

Izuku had a satisfied smile on his face as he said, "Then let's go to my room, I'll tell you my past,"
