Ch. 128 - One move

"Sprite?" Druig looked confused as he kneeled on the ground with confusion still lingering on his eyes.

Before they knew it, Druig fell on the ground with a thud.

"Druig!" Thena, who was watching the fight, was shocked by Sprite's betrayal and was about to rush over there to help when she suddenly heard Doflamingo's warning.

"You both should probably watch your backs." When Thena and Gilgamesh heard what he said, they both turned around at the same time and saw the Deviant that killed Ajax, crawling before them.

However, unlike the canon where the Deviant could stand straight, in this universe, he failed to kill Gilgamesh and absorbed him, making him a little weak.

"Raaahhh!" Knowing that the Deviant in front of her killed a friend of her, Thena didn't hesitate to launch an attack while Gilgamesh supported her from behind.

"They both can handle it." Watching the fight as he distanced himself, Doflamingo knew that they could handle theirselves, so he decided to leave the Deviant in their hands.

"Now, Sersi's side has slowly crumbled. Without Druig, they failed to make Tiamut sleep. Any minute now he'll awaken and destroy the entire planet earth, something that I can't ignore, especially since Earth is my home obviously." Doflamingo muttered and saw that Makkari was facing Ikaris while Phastos and Sersi were trying to stop Sprite however, both Phastos and Sersi aren't basically made to be fighters, so they're having a hard time catching Sprite.

"Sprite! Stop this madness!" Phastos tried calling out to Sprite however, each Sprite that he tried to catch was merely an illusion. He could make a device to locate Sprite's location however, there isn't enough time now and time is the most crucial thing that they need now.

"You know, Phastos when you said that you'd take a break because of family matters, I didn't expect the matter to be this." Hearing a very familiar voice, Phastos turned around and saw Doflamingo walking towards them.

"Boss? No, this Sprite's illusion." Phastos was worried at first but realized that his enemy was Sprite, so he sighed in relief.

"Sprite, there's no time for games like this now. Bringing my boss here will change nothing." Phastos yelled at one of the Sprites that he saw, which is probably just another illusion of her.

"What? I didn't do that!" Sprite refused the accusation.

"Huh?" Phastos got confused more and turned his eyes back to his boss, Doflamingo.

"I'm deducting your salary, Phastos." Doflamingo teased.

"Boss?" Phastos's eyes went wide at the second realization

"Wait... What are you doing here? It's dangerous here, you should go home!" Phastos tried convincing him as he looked around, trying to protect him just in case Ikaris or Sprite tried to attack him.

He really has a good opinion on his boss, Doflamingo because unlike the other jobs he went into, he's always been discriminated against due to his color. Not only that, Doflamingo also highly appreciates him, which is why he has a very high position in the company.

Phastos has really enjoyed his job as a game developer because unlike before where he invents weapons and technologies that cause war, now he invents games that cause people to be united and happy.

"Don't worry about me, Phastos. I just came to see what's happening here. And from what I can see, you guys are losing only from 2 enemies?" Doflamingo raised his eyebrow as Phastos scratched the back of his head with a chuckle.

"Well, they're...our family and we can't just fight them to death."

"Families killing each other.... This completely reminds me of the age of kingdoms" Doflamingo said while scratching his hair when his arm suddenly blurred and a small girl with white hair suddenly appeared on his hand as he grips her neck.

"Little sneaky, aren't you?" Doflamingo said while eyeing Sprite, who was shocked at being discovered.

She was thinking of using Doflamingo as a hostage to make Phastos surrender or something similar to that, since she thought that Doflamingo is just a human, however that thought would make her regret.

"How did you?" Both Sersi and Phastos were shocked at the events that were happening.

*Zoom!*

Doflamingo suddenly threw Sprite to Phastos before kicking them both as a laser beam from Ikaris landed on the area.

*Boom!*

"Boss!" Phastos worriedly yelled as Sersi came in and helped them get up.

After the dust settled while Ikaris landed on the ground and was also curious on whether Doflamingo survived or not.

They saw a faded figure slowly but surely showing itself to the world after a few seconds.

"That was anticlimactic. I thought Cosmic Energy rays could injure me or something but I was disappointed and my day was ruined. You can't call yourself a Superman if your beams are weak." After patting the dust off his shoulders, Doflamingo mocked Ikaris.

"Who are you, why are you meddling with our business." Ikaris ignored the insult and asked.

"Your business? Excuse me but isn't Earth a planet where humans live? That means this is also human business, especially since it revolves around the destruction of humankind just for the sake of giving birth to another headache." Doflamingo shrugged his shoulders while insulting even a Celestial Dragon without fear.

"Insulting a God... You have the nerve, I commend you for that." Ikaris said as he slowly lifted himself off the ground.

"I'll finish you off lest you invite the anger of the Gods." Ikaris said and with a sonic boom, he flew right towards Doflamingo.

"Too slow." While picking on his nose, Doflamingo muttered as he bent his back, allowing Ikaris to fly past him.

Ikaris has great control over his mobility when it comes to flying, so he halted himself and turned around.

'That's unusual. I could understand that he could withstand my beams but my flying speed is not something that you could just avoid causally. Who is this human?' While he was busy thinking to himself, Doflamingo doesn't like that someone will fall in mind while in the middle of the battle.

"Don't get distracted while in battle fool." After appearing behind Ikaris, Doflamingo whispered in his ear and just when Ikaris was about to react, Doflamingo's fist was already in contact with his cheeks.

*Boom!*

With a loud sonic boom, Ikaris's entire body was blown away before tumbling on the ground, causing damage on the ground as he moves along on the ground.

Doflamingo knew that such force isn't enough to take the Rip-off Superman down, and as he expected, Ikaris spit out some rocks as he glares at Doflamingo.

"Ikaris, no!" Sersi was afraid that Doflamingo couldn't handle Ikaris when he's serious, so she tries to stop him but to no avail, he didn't even glance at her, his eyes are only focused on Doflamingo.

"Come little soldier. Show me what you've got." Doflamingo assumed a boxer stance as he made a beckoning gesture, provoking Ikaris to come and attack him.

"Raaahhh!" Doflamingo's taunt was successful as Ikaris roared in anger.

"That's the spirit." Sensing that Ikaris's presence was slowly coming over him, Doflamingo decided to give him a chance to hit him cleanly.

*Bam!*

As Ikaris arrived in front of him, he didn't hesitate to pull his arms and gave his everything to punch Doflamingo's face.

As he succeeded, Ikaris knew that it wasn't enough, so as Doflamingo was blown away by the sheer strength of his punch, he also mixed a cosmic laser beam at him flying body.

If the other Eternals were to receive this treatment, they would surely be critically injured worse, they would die.

"That's almost on the level of Gilgamesh." Phastos worriedly said, however inside his heart, there's a glimmer of confidence that Doflamingo could withstand such an attack with no problem.

Meanwhile, Doflamingo's flailing body seemed to be dead at first however, Doflamingo suddenly turned his body upside down, landing on the ground with his knee and foot on the ground while stabbing his hand on a claw gesture to stop his momentum.

"Not bad. Probably on the level of Hela." Doflamingo nodded approvingly before continuing.

"A weakened Hela." After spitting those insults which only he heard and even if the eternals heard him, they probably wouldn't know who he was talking about.

Seeing that distance of how much he was thrown away, Doflamingo was lazy of using his body to get back to the battlefield, so he just used a portal to land back on the battlefield.

"Is he dead?" Sprite asked while her arms were being held by Sersi while Phastos was treating Druig's injury.

"I don't know." Sersi answered, she's hoping that Ikaris wouldn't accidentally kill him, after all, she's one of the eternals who truly knew how strong Ikaris is.

"Where's Kingo, by the way? I haven't seen him after getting out of the ship." Upon realization, Sprite asked Sersi who was also confused so she cast a questioning gaze on Phastos, who probably heard the question.

"He backed out. After hearing that we have to fight Ikaris, he said he doesn't want to fight a friend." Phastos answered as Sersi sighed. She can't blame Kingo, after all, even though she was almost on the verge of giving up also as she knew that they would have to face Ikaris, her lover for thousands of years but she persisted as her love for humans weighs more than her love for Ikaris.

Suddenly, an orange glowing portal opens up in the air and Doflamingo lands on the ground.

"Seriously, that's it?" Doflamingo said with a mocking expression. After the mocking, Doflamingo suddenly raised his arm and pointed his finger at Ikaris.

"One move. I'll destroy you in one move." Doflamingo said in a confident tone.
