The sun was only half as hot as he had known it to be, but for some reason, it was hot enough to keep him confused and dizzy.

Was he a man or a boy? One would usually consider age, but the young man certainly didn't. Not when it came to him. He might be young, but he was no boy. People call him boy, and he usually made sure to correct them.

He was old enough to kill and old enough to die. In his mind, it was more than enough qualification.

Is he brave, or is he a coward? Now that might actually be a really good question. Because he himself didn't know the answer. He had been called both things. If he really needed to give an answer, he would probably say that the answer will reveal itself when one dies. But deep down, he knew that wasn't the case.
