Suddenly, a loud crashing sound reverberated around the area. The big main doors of the Hamill Household had been shattered by an unknown assailant!

Edward Hamill's face twitched as he watched the main doors come apart with a loud bang.

Although he had known that his son, Lin Hamill was up to something right from the start, this entire matter had seemed too distant to him and most members of the family.

Ever since he was little, Lin was considered a non-magic user. His father, who was desperately hoping for a talented son, was immediately disappointed once the results came out. He was completely disinterested in his son's life, finding him to be a burden to the family's legacy. However, he was still his son nonetheless, so he couldn't just abandon him. In his own twisted mind, he considered this to be showing kindness. He didn't consider Lin as part of his family, and him deciding not to abandon him was Edward showing mercy to the young child.
