Chapter 52: Tears

Fluffy took her hands in his while he said, "I know you wanted to help him the moment you heard of his illness."

"Yeah" Freya agreed as she tightened her hold.

To be honest, when Freya heard about his poison, she knew the cure for him. But she didn't tell Usui because she wanted to ask Fluffy first. Well, it was part of him which had to do the cure.

Hearing their conversation, the grandmaster knitted her brows in confusion. 'Part of him?'

That's when her eyes enlarged as it dawned on her. She swiftly turned her head towards the Phoenix, 'It can't be...'

Grandmaster cried out, "What! Did you use your tears? Those precious tears?"

"Precious?" for some reason, Fluffy felt grossed out.

"Yes... those are tears which would work wonders on humans. Save them from their last breath, Recover their energy and it even helps in rising ranks -"

"Yes...that's why he used it on Usui. He needed it more." Freya interrupted her speech.
