I arrived at the field and found a man and Peter already there training together with a group of dummies that moved as they fought. Neither were in costume but the man held a shield so I could only assume he was Captain America. Peter had his web slingers on and was occupied trying to get himself out of a circle of dummies. He shot at them and tried to sling away but he was stuck. I grabbed my dagger and quick as a fox sliced through each and every last one of them before scurrying up a tree so he wouldn't see me.
He glanced around confused "Cap did you see that?"
"See what kid? I'm kinda busy here." Captain America was battling a small army of dummies
"All the enemies around me suddenly got slashed dead."
"Probably just Stark messing with you."
Peter didn't seem convinced he glanced around and finally saw me hiding in the tree dagger still in hand. He laughed and shook his head but soon got back to his fight. After he and Cap had tied up all the enemies he slung himself up in the tree next to me.
"Thanks but next time maybe don't kill anyone. I'm not so sure the team will take kindly to that," he said as he sat next to me
"I'm sorry for trying to help you. You seemed like you were in a sticky situation."
"You did the right thing. I genuinely am grateful. Come on let's head back to the mansion."
I shook my head "You go on. I'm going to stay and train for a while and I'd rather not have an audience."
"Oh you reminded me Tony asked me to tell you not to break any more cameras. They're for your own safety."
"Yeah tell him I'm sorry. I was having a rough time adjusting."
He nodded and left me alone. I trained against the dummies for hours until I could barely see. I summoned a bit of light and kept training until at least 2 AM. When I finally was worn out I stared up at the stars until I fell asleep on the training grounds.
