"You have grown stronger," Thor remarked.

"All due to your help, your highness," James joked and sat on the ground. The training room which was ravaged by them while sparring was restored to its original condition. It looked like no one had fought here before.

'Maybe some kind of magic used by Odin on this room itself,' James was wondering about the benefits of learning magic.

"You made me use my real strength while fighting, a lot of times," Thor said.

"Well that was only because you were just blocking and not attacking me. If you had fought me for real, I wouldn't have stood a chance against you," James replied.

Although James was strong, he clearly knew his limits. Currently Thor was twice as strong as compared to James. James would not be able to defeat him at all.

However if it was a life and death fight, James had a hundred percent guarantee that he would be able to at least escape from Thor using the Planetary Devastation power of Deva Path ability which he had not used here. Planetary Devastation was currently used as a trump card by James.

Also he found some details regarding his sword while fighting with Thor. First was that, he was able to manipulate the sword however he wanted, even without having physical contact with it. He was able to use the abilities of the sword such as , Size Modulation and Thousand Swords without even touching the sword.

Secondly, among the two abilities, the Thousand Swords ability used a bit of his chakra when activated. The consumption of chakra was completely affordable to James. As for the Size Modulation ability, it didn't use any chakra.

He also tried to fly using the sword just like how Thor uses his hammer to fly. He tried to step on the sword by using size modulation and tried to fly just like those cultivation experts in the novels which he read in his previous life but he was unsuccessful in his attempts.

'Seems like I have to wait for the 'Air travel' ability to get unlocked, before flying with the help of my sword,' James thought.

Even though he had the Deva Path ability, with the help of which he would be able to fly. Still due to the low level of his Deva Ability, the speed of his flight was not that fast.

Thor stood up and walked towards James. He extended his hand towards him and James grasped his hand and stood up too.

"Time to return," James smiled.

Finally using the Bifrost they were transported back to Earth, at the same place from where they visited Asgard eleven months back.

After seeing the sun had not set yet, they took a cab back to James's apartment.

"Eleven months....this place must be trashed by now. No cleaning nothing at all," James said while exiting the elevator.

As he walked near his apartment along with Thor, he sensed a person sitting in his apartment even though the apartment was locked from outside. Thor too felt something was wrong and was on alert.

'Definitely Fury, only that guy knows how to creep people out by acting like a mysterious dude,' James guessed even before entering his apartment. Although there was a small chance of this person being Coulson, but it was not his style to barge into other people's homes.

He unlocked the door and entered the apartment and turned the lights on.

Sitting on the couch comfortably, Nick Fury muttered," Welcome."

Thor who was ready to throw his hammer calmed down after seeing who it was.

"What are you doing here, sitting alone in someone else's house?" Thor was surprised.

"You know him?" James asked trying to act surprised.

"Yeah past few months when I came to Earth searching for my brother and visiting Jane, he helped me in many ways," Thor replied.

'So are we playing a good cop now?' James looked at the cunning bald man.

"Mr. Brown, glad to make your acquaintance. I am Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.d and the superior of Coulson whom you met back then," Fury got up and shook hands with James.

"I don't know what to feel about the guy who broke into my apartment. Well at least you kept it clean," Jame looked at the spotless apartment which looked the same, before they had left.

"Wasn't me. Your friend did the job," Fury declined James's 'gratitude.'

"They must have been worried," James sighed.

"Nah I handled that matter properly. Some of them even tried to lodge a complaint of your disappearance. However we took care of it all," Fury said.

"How do you even know we were here?" Thor interrupted.

"S.H.I.E.LD. knows everything that's happening all around the world," Fury smiled.

"So are you here to get me to join the S.H.I.E.L.D.," James asked.

"S.H.I.E.L.D has started an initiative, more preferably a team to protect our planet from some harmful foreign lifeforms. The initiative is known as Avengers and we are hoping that you will be a part of it," Fury said seriously.

"What foreign lifeforms?" James asked, knowing that the trouble was brewing.

"That's classified information unless you join the Avengers. You don't want your friend to be alone do you?" Fury said while hinting towards Thor.

"You joined the Avengers? Why didn't you mention this before," James complained although knowing that Thor would eventually be a part of the Avengers.

"Seems like I forgot," Thor laughed innocently. He really didn't put much emphasis on this matter. To him, the future King of Asgard why would such things even matter.

"For a battle freak like you what's better then joining such an initiative," James taunted.

"So what do you say ?" Fury asked. "Well you joining S.H.I.E.L.D would be like a person returning to his roots. Your parents were after all, a high level members of the S.H.I.E.L.D," Fury casually remarked.
