5 Chapter 5: It's Hero time

Law Cromwell P.O.V

When I said exciting life, I didn't mean to be surrounded by all the troublesome individuals.

I was in class with Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane, Harry Osborne, Peter Parker, Jessica Jones and Flash the future agent venom.

Thankfully no Cindy moon(Silk) and Felicia Hardy (Black cat) in the class.

Raymond Warren was our science teacher. He asked me to introduce myself "My name is Law Cromwell. It's my first day in the school. So don't mind me asking for help with the studies."

Raymond said "You can take Gwen Stacy's help with that as she is the brightest student in this class."

As he said that I noticed a few girls giving jealous looks to Gwen including Mary Jane.

Raymond continued by saying sternly "Although tattoos are not allowed in the school, the school would let it slide this time. But please make sure not to have any more of such tattoos."

I acknowledged and moved to my seat which was in front of Gwen and to Harry's side.

As the classes got over, I got a tap on my shoulder. I turned out to see it was Gwen.

"Hey, If you don't know it just yet, my name is Gwen Stacy. Nice to meet you." She said with a smile politely while extending her hand for a handshake.

I shook her hands and said "Nice to meet you Gwen. I would be asking for a lot of help with the studies so please don't mind me."

We chatted for another two minutes and then I said my goodbye and left to buy a mask for my late night activities that would begin today.

As the night came, I got ready as I wore the black hoodie and a simple black mask without any designs and black gloves to cover my hands since I am pretty sure there are not any other people with DEATH tattooed on their fingers. I didn't want anyone to get a clue about my identity through my tattoos.

I then took out my sword and placed it on my shoulders. Though I was pretty sure I was not going to take it out of the scabbard to kill low time criminals but just use it to knock them out.

'ROOM' A blue sphere formed from my hand and covered the entire building.

'Shambles'

I switched places with a small rock that I had placed on the roof of the building. I then switched places with different things until I was out of the region where my house was at.

This was to lower the chances of people to track me.

I didn't know where to go to search for crime. I could go to Hell's kitchen but there were just too many people with guns there and I didn't have observation haki to dodge these bullets just yet. Although I could just use telekinesis in my ROOM, but I don't want to take chances with the big mafias.

I can dodge 5-6 bullets with my enhanced physique as all one piece humans are physically stronger than normal humans which includes my senses that means better reflexes.

I decided to just stroll the city to search for crime.I kept the sword back in the inventory as it would just draw attention to myself.

Now while I liked being a hero, I didn't do it just for the popularity but for the fun of it. Who doesn't dream of having superpowers and beating bad guys? I will be finally free from the hospital bed that I spent the last 8 years of my previous life and I would enjoy it as I want.

While I was searching for crime, I focused on Kisuke Urahara's template. I got some of his memories about some basics of a shinigami Swordsmanship and combat. It wouldn't take long for me to train as I already have good basics with the sword thanks to Law's template.

I focused my senses back to the streets in search for a crime or a criminal. I walked for two hours for nothing, there was not even a single thief, bank robbery, mugging, assault, selling drugs or murder. It looked like a peaceful city.

As I was about to walk back home, I saw a group of five people breaking into a bank as they were hitting the security guard with a steel bat.

'Finally some action'

'ROOM'

'Shambles'

As one of the robbers was going to strike the security guard again to knock him out, I switched places with the guard and blocked the bat with my sword still in its scabbard.

The robbers were shocked to see an unknown person suddenly appearing at the place where the guard was and the guard disappearing from the place.

I knocked down the guard with the bat swiftly with a chop to his neck.

"Who are you?" The other four robbers asked with guns pointing at me

"Your worst nightmare!" I said as I used 'Takt' to take away their guns telekinetically.

I controlled the steel pipe which was lying nearby and bent it and tied the robbers with the pipe.

I took one of the robbers phone and called the police informing them about the robbery.

I shambled myself to the top of the bank and then to another location so that the police couldn't track me.

I then closed the ROOM as the blue sphere receded. Fun fact, this blue sphere is only visible to me. I always thought everyone could see the blue sphere.

Anyways, I had decided to just walk around searching for crime and not to waste my stamina by constantly teleporting away.

I couldn't help but be proud of myself for helping that security guard and stopping the crime. It gave me a good feeling.
