New Year is coming. Not many things happened during this year related to Moon Knight.

Even the general public had started to get over the hype Moon Knight generated. They knew I was still out there but their attention was shifted to the new hero who had made his emergence.

The Ghost Rider.

Many mass murderers, r*pists, and other criminals at large turned out to be demons according to Johnny who was going around the country sending them back to hell. Even I did not demons existed on Earth.

Damn. What is the ancient one doing? Is she so focused on creating her perfect little plan using the time stone that she ignored all these demons?

Well, anyway Johnny seems to have a knack for finding demons. I had first thought he will be bored when his plot still has not arrived but I guess new villains will keep popping up every new hero.

Johnny aside, I have not been lazy too this year.

First of all, I checked the new powers I gained after formally accepting my Moon Knight self. All it took was a deep meditation session to check upon my soul and here are the results.

[ new > Partial immortality: Moon Knight will recover from any mortal wound as long as the soul is not destroyed and he is in the presence of the moon.

new > Luna kinesis: Moon Knight will be able to control the universe's different moons and objects made out of them. A very small projection of the nearest moon can also be used as a real object at night.]

Partial immortality is self-explanatory but it enhanced my already powerful regeneration. Before the wounds I received in the morning took 30 minutes to heal, now they will heal within 15 minutes depending on their severity.

For wounds, I get at night, they took 10 minutes before but now they heal in under 5 minutes.

Luna kinesis was the one I was most excited about. I was able to feel the various moons present in our solar system and nearest being the moon of Earth. I instinctively knew I can control our moon but I can't do it because of the amount of willpower it requires it tremendous.

But bringing the projection of the moon was found to be very useful. I have full control over it. I can always smash it into someone. I have not tested much with it yet as there are not many chances to do it.

I would need an extremely durable person to test it.

Aside from checking out my new powers, I also started to develop more as Ethan Sinclair.

Studying and researching more in tech-based things, learning proper combat arts from professionals, and the other interesting things I found took much of my time this year.

Training with professionals helped in perfecting my form and improved my skills a lot. The research I got from my studies was applied to the betterment of my company. The servers had more security from hackers.

A small number of machine learning systems were also developed which helped in managing the company more efficiently. No AI development had taken place in the company but I was trying to create one individually.

Who doesn't want their own Jarvis? But I will make sure my AI doesn't go the Ultron route.

I also started the construction of my new home which will be complete in the next two months if there are no complications. I had it made in an open space with a clear view of the moon.

Its exterior will combine both modern and gothic elements, while the interior will boast opulent living areas. The gymnasium and a large pool area are also present. I am also planning to add a minibar and game room built.

Going by my hidden persona, I had ordered the upper floors to feature bedrooms with moonlit views, and my private suite to have an observatory with a retractable roof. The mansion will be able to incorporate the AI I am building and security systems are already starting to be put up.

Everything is starting to take place and I am getting ready to start an excellent year. A year where a lot of plot development will take place.

The devil will make an appearance and Johnny will have it easier to deal with his son. I mean, the guy did manage to destroy the contract, and even help Zarathos gain a bit of sanity back. He's still red though. Meaning, the angel is being grumpy.

There's also the beginning of the experiments in which Bruce Banner is involved. Yes, people, Hulk is coming this new year.

The Winter Soldier too will make his first appearance this year since my coming and HYDRA is going to suffer. I mean, really suffer because I am going to nab him from them.

Harold's death and resurrection are not too important for now but getting the evidence of his involvement with the Hand will be great.

All in all, an exciting year.

How's the chapter? Sorry for the short chapter but I didn't want to suddenly start the plot without telling Ethan's new power, so I wrote this chapter like this. Not much to tell too except the plot is starting!!

Johnny gets to rekindle his old flame and also see the devil again.
