The energy contained in the multiverse is far more powerful than that of Earth, so many mages begin their journeys through the multiverse after mastering this knowledge.
The Marvel universe can be roughly divided into: single universe, multiverse, super universe, and omnipotent universe.
At Kama Taj, most mages can only travel within a single universe, which simply means teleporting through space to a designated destination.
Few mages can travel to the multiverse, and only a handful of great mages in Kama Taj can barely do it.
Of course, given Luo Bai's current strength, he is already very proficient in traveling through the multiverse.
So, what he is training now is not his physical body, but his spiritual body, also known as his soul.
Only the Ancient One can perform soul travel through the multiverse in Kama Taj. After all, the soul is much more fragile than the body.
The multiverse contains an immense amount of energy, and ordinary souls cannot withstand the impact of such vast energy.
However, in order to train his soul, Luo Bai had no choice but to attempt it.
Luo Bai was greatly shocked during his first attempt.
His soul could not endure more than a day in the multiverse before it reached its limit.
He felt as if his entire being was being crushed by an invisible, powerful force, starting from the top of his head down to his toes.
Every cell in his body was overwhelmed by intense stimulation, as if his body were about to be torn apart at any moment.
After enduring the pressure for a day, Luo Bai had no choice but to let his soul return to his body.
After adjusting and resting, Luo Bai tried again.
After twenty attempts, he finally managed to withstand the pressure and began to explore deeper into the multiverse.
The passage of time in the multiverse is somewhat different from that on Earth, so Luo Bai had no idea how long he had been practicing.
It wasn't until he noticed some commotion downstairs, as if Polaris were arguing with someone, that he became curious.
This surprised Luo Bai.
Polaris should be the only person in the house, right?
Who could she be arguing with?
After practicing for so long, Luo Bai decided to take a break.
He stood up, opened the door, and walked down to the second floor.
As soon as he arrived on the second floor, he saw Polaris standing outside the door, speaking excitedly to someone.
Because of her excitement, the metal in the room kept shaking, and even the chandelier on the ceiling began to sway.
"Lorna, what are you doing?!" Luo Bai shouted.
His voice instantly silenced the room.
Polaris turned her head, and the anger on her face transformed into excitement: "Master Luo Bai! You're finally out?!"
Out??!
Upon hearing this, Luo Bai realized he didn't know how long he had been gone.
"What do you mean by 'finally'?" he asked.
Polaris replied eagerly, "I calculated that it's been a full month since I last saw you."
Luo Bai: "???!!"
A month?!
"Has it really been that long?" Luo Bai asked incredulously.
"Yes! Look at the date!" Polaris said.
Luo Bai picked up his phone and glanced at the time.
Wow, it really has been a month.
No wonder—time passes differently in the multiverse compared to Earth.
Although Luo Bai hadn't felt like he had been gone long, an entire month had passed on Earth?!
This was truly unexpected.
"So, did you stay in the study the whole month?" Polaris asked.
Luo Bai thought for a moment and replied, "No, actually, I plan to travel later."
"Travel??!" Polaris exclaimed, her eyes wide with shock.
"Master Luo Bai, I've been guarding the house for a whole month. I didn't dare leave for even a moment, fearing you wouldn't find me. If you're going on a trip, please let me know. I could have at least given myself a holiday..." Polaris said, her tone a bit aggrieved.
"Actually, I didn't realize it had been so long."
"Alright," Polaris sighed.
After all, Luo Bai was the "creditor" in this situation, and she had no choice but to endure it.
"By the way, has anyone come to see me this month?" Luo Bai suddenly asked.
Polaris nodded quickly. "Yes. Mr. Stark, Natasha Romanoff, and the 'braised egghead' have all come to see you. But I didn't dare to disturb you on the second floor, so I told them you were busy and couldn't see anyone for the time being."
After their last experience, Polaris didn't dare step onto the second floor, let alone let anyone else go up.
She feared Luo Bai would accidentally turn her into a "frog."
Luo Bai understood this and was glad she didn't let anyone disturb him; otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to complete his soul-strengthening training so smoothly.
Thinking of this, Luo Bai couldn't help but praise her: "You did a good job, Lorna. But who were you talking to just now?"
Hearing his question, Polaris asked nervously, "Did I disturb you, Master Luo Bai?"
"Not really; I just thought your situation seemed a bit off," Luo Bai replied.
Polaris didn't seem to want Luo Bai to know who the visitor was. She blocked the door with her body and hurriedly said, "Oh, it was nothing, Master Luo Bai, just a few people asking for directions."
As she spoke, she tried to close the door.
But a voice came from outside: "Hello, sir. My name is Charles, but you can call me Professor X. May I come in and have a chat with you?"
Professor X?!
When Luo Bai heard the name, he immediately understood.
He had suspected that mutants would come to his door sooner or later since he had taken in Polaris.
After preparing himself mentally, Luo Bai was not surprised.
"Since you're here, come in and have a seat," Luo Bai said politely.
Polaris was taken aback.
She hadn't expected Luo Bai to say that, and she worried about causing him trouble.
She hurriedly said, "Master Luo Bai, I can handle this!"
Luo Bai smiled and replied half-jokingly, "If you could really handle it, you wouldn't have to sneak into my room like a thief."
Polaris fell silent.
After a moment, she finally let Professor X in.
As soon as Professor X entered, Luo Bai saw his large bald head.
Although Luo Bai knew Professor X was bald, seeing his shiny head made him unable to help but mutter under his breath, "Here comes another bald guy."
It seems that he had formed a certain connection with bald characters in the Marvel universe.
He had only been here a short time and had already encountered several bald individuals.
His voice wasn't loud, and Professor X seemed unsure if he had heard.
"What did you say?" Professor X asked.
Luo Bai shook his head and replied, "Nothing. Hello, Professor X. What would you like to discuss with me?"
Luo Bai gestured for him to take a seat on the sofa.
Professor X approached in his wheelchair, with several X-Men standing behind him.
Luo Bai wasn't particularly familiar with all of their identities, but he recognized one of them immediately: Jean Grey.
