Chapter 77: School

Things went smoothly beyond expectation.

Jack was still struggling with how to bring Wanda with him, but the siblings offered to join him.

It saved him a lot of effort.

With two siblings by his side, Jack had to adjust his plans.

"What? Go to school?!"

The next morning, Jack woke up the siblings from their sleep and a message that followed instantly dispelled their sleepiness.

"Yes, go to school!"

During breakfast, Jack made a sandwich with peanut butter and gave it to Wanda after she had finished getting ready. He said it like it was no big deal.

"Hey, you guys aren't adults yet, and your education got messed up because of the war. But now that there's peace, don't you think it's important to return to your studies?"

The siblings looked at each other, but neither of them had anything to say.

Wanda seemed fine, but Pietro looked down and sat there with a sad expression like he had no energy left.

For students who struggle academically, school is like a level of hell.

The siblings were completely different in this aspect. After investigating, Jack found out that while Wanda wasn't a top student, she was still better than most.

Pietro, on the other hand, was pretty much at the bottom of the class.

Jack thought for a moment and said, "Well, it just so happens that it's almost back-to-school season. Where do you guys want to go to school?"

He looked at the siblings and let them make their own decision.

Sokovia was out of options since it was still trying to get back on its feet economically, and their education system wasn't very good.

The most important thing was his concern for their safety, so he didn't want to take any unnecessary risks.

Instead of overthinking it himself, he decided to leave the decision up to them.

"Um..."

The youngest, Pietro, spoke up cautiously, looking at Jack. "Can... we not go to school?"

"Hehe."

Jack looked at him with a friendly expression and said, "Of course...not!"

"..."

Pietro suddenly looked as if he had lost all hope and fell into deep despair.

"Wanda, what about you? Where do you want to go to school?"

Pietro didn't expect anything, so he could only ask Wanda. But obviously, Wanda didn't know how to choose either and looked at him, begging for help.

"Alright, Alright"

Jack smiled and handed the warm milk to Wanda, ignoring Peter's outstretched hand, and began to enjoy his breakfast.

"Let's go to America!"

A place name appeared in his mind as he ate his bacon.

To be honest, if it wasn't for the fact that most of the Marvel movies took place in the United States, Jack wouldn't have planned to take Wanda there originally.

There wasn't really any reason, just because it was more...free there.

"America?"

Wanda and Peter didn't have any objections to going to America. After all, they were just children and didn't have much of an opinion.

"Okay, it's decided. Let's go to America."

Seeing that Wanda didn't object, Jack decided to go there.

As for which city specifically, he had already chosen.

"After breakfast, we'll go there. Red Queen, help the three of us get identities, get some money too, not too much, just enough. Also, buy a house in Manhattan, with a good environment. Also, get school registration for Wanda and Pietro. As for the school...you figure it out."

"Understood!" Red responded and started to work on the tasks.

"Alright, everything is ready," said Jack with a smile. "Are you ready for school, kids?"

.....

New York, Manhattan

They were staying at a little two-story house by the Hudson River.

"Wow! This place is amazing!" Wanda exclaimed, looking at the inside the villa, her face flushed with excitement.

The house wasn't anything fancy - it was just a simple and modern-looking white building. It faced a main road with some big trees planted on either side, making it feel a little more green and natural.

A large lawn was in front of the door, and the double-door garage was next to the villa, right by the yard.

The bottom floor of the house had unique double-layer glass walls that were bulletproof, and they faced the road and the river. This way, you could see the Hudson River and even the faraway Statue of Liberty without leaving the house.

The kitchen, living room, and dining room were all on the first floor. In the corner of the living room was a black piano with a small cabinet next to it, where various music scores were kept.

The three bedrooms are located on the second floor - one for each person. The master bedroom and the other two bedrooms each have their own bathroom and shower. If they open the windows, they can enjoy the view of the Hudson River on both sides.

At the back door, a huge swimming pool takes up almost half of the backyard, perfect for hanging out and relaxing.

This is the whole house - it's not super fancy or anything, but it's the one Wanda picked. When Red showed her seven different places to live, she immediately picked this one and said it felt like home to her.

They ended up deciding to live there since Wanda really liked it. The nearest high school is only a ten-minute drive away, but that's without any traffic. The people who live in the area are mostly rich and well-educated, with good manners. The Manhattan Police Department is always patrolling the area, so it's a safe place.

The house already had everything they needed, but Jack still took Wanda and Pietro to a furniture store to buy some new stuff and bought two cars.

One car is for transporting the siblings to and from school, and the other is for Jack himself.

As for school registration, Red Queen had already taken care of it. They can go to school to register tomorrow morning.

After spending the morning shopping for furniture and other stuff they needed, and after a while they all came back home.
