Chapter 173. Debut (Part1)

"Guys, I need a hand."

Steve said so as he turned his head to look at the Defenders.

"Sure, what do you need?"

As the concentrated force of the Iron Fist smashed a cyborg's head, Danny gasped and asked. Because of the fighting, he didn't catch Steve's words too clearly.

"Send me up there, I'm ending this fight."

Steve pointed to Tony and Ivan, who were fighting in midair, and answered.

The Defenders looked at each other in silence, and finally, Jessica and Cage came forward in unison.

After looking at the two who stepped forward, Steve hesitated and finally nodded toward Cage, "Then please."

Seeing Captain America's choice, Jessica grimaced, then turned around and swung her fist to knock the attacking cyborg in front of her away.

Nodding silently, Cage reached out and easily lifted Steve. He grabbed his two feet with both hands, adjusted the direction to the two men fighting in midair, and asked in a deep voice, "How's the aim?"

With his legs slightly bent, Steve frowned at the two figures in the air and kept saying, "A little further to the left. No, a little further down. That's right, that's it! Now!"

With Captain America's command, Cage shouted, and his muscles swelled with force. With his superhuman strength, he threw Steve up into the air.

"Tsk, I should've taken him flying up there. Would've saved some time." Seeing Steve and Cage's actions, Jessica sighed, seemingly unhappy. In fact, with the situation at hand, she could have carried Steve up into the air with her flight ability. There was no need for such trouble.

Anyway, with the help of Cage's superhuman strength, Captain America flew into the air without a problem. When he approached Ivan's position, he threw the shield without hesitation.

None of Steve's actions was surprising to Tony. When he saw him throw his shield, in order to avoid Ivan noticing it and dodging it, he didn't dodge the whip attacks himself. His arm got entangled in Ivan's whip.

Enduring the strong current surging around his armour, Tony raised his voice and said, "Hey Ivan, behind you."

Using the whipcord to catch Tony, who kept dodging, Ivan was hissing a low maniacal sounding laugh. When he heard Tony's voice, he subconsciously turned away and saw Steve, who somehow appeared behind him and the shield flying towards him.

The hard shield turned into a sharp weapon, instantly severing one of Ivan's arms that were gripping the whipcord.

In mid-air, Steve raised his arm to grab the shield that flew back again and instinctively held it in front of his face.

The next moment, he saw Ivan, who was even more frenzied because of the loss of his arm, starting to swing his whip toward Captain America frantically.

The shield that was made out of vibranium was perfect for blocking Ivan's attack. Taking advantage of this opening, Tony took off the whipcord that was wrapped around his body, raised his palm and fired a blast at Ivan.

Bang --

The shock wave emitted from the palm of his hand accurately hit the jet device on one of Ivan's feet. In the next moment, because of the damage, Ivan's flight was affected, and he began to tumble and fall toward the ground.

Of course, not only Ivan; Steve also started to feel the effects of gravity, rapidly falling downward.

Noticing Captain America's vertical drop, Tony raised his eyebrows at the steel armour. The repulsors under his feet instantly launched, and he approached Steve's side, reached out, and grabbed him.

Steve: "Mr Stark."

Tony: "Captain."

"It's over, Ivan."

Bringing Steve down slowly, Tony looked at Ivan, who had fallen from mid-air and could not help but speak out.

Ivan didn't get a smooth landing because of the damage to the jets on his feet.

Struggling to get up from the ground, Ivan dragged his damaged foot and staggered to his feet. He turned to look at his left arm, which was cut off. A large number of wires came out, and currents jumped out from the wound. As he grinned, a lot of blood spilt out of his mouth. The next second, a cyborg was standing next to Defenders, and others spoke out for him with no expression, "No, this will never end, Stark. Even if I die, these cyborgs are programmed to follow my pre-set instructions. They're going to destroy everything in sight, kill anyone they see, until you kill them all. If you can, that is... Ha ha ha ha ...."

The voice coming from the cyborg had no emotional ups and downs, but its content daunted everyone's hearts.

"You're crazy, Ivan."

In Tony's eyes, Ivan has gone completely insane. This guy had done such a crazy thing just to kill him.
