When the world plundered into chaos because of unknown and unidentified creatures coming from portals that randomly appeared on Earth. Many humans died, some survived and lived in seclusion because of fear. Some fought these monsters trying to reclaim the land but were still powerless, in the end, countries and cities crumbled apart.
As years passed by the huge cities became lifeless. Earth was already devastated due to the monster's invasion. But many still held hope that a miracle would happen, however years passed and their prayers were left unanswered causing their beliefs and faith of the almighty shattered, it placed a deep root of uncertainty and confusion in their minds.
Till one day, a huge tower growing the size of mount everest appeared from beneath the surface of the earth, and an angel of light gave hope to the people.
The angel said: "O dear humans your world has been invaded and now you live in fear and hiding. But due to god's merciful nature, they will give you a chance to redeem and take back the world you have lost. The solution to your problems is the tower of the gods! Climb the tower, earn powerful skills and abilities, and even get the blessings of the merciful gods! Humans it is your time to redeem your world, now climb the tower and all your wishes will come true!"
With those words, the people once again held hope. Many praised the gods for giving them the salvation and an answer to their prayers. Because of the angel's encouraging words everyone, the elderly and children decided to climb the tower wanting to reach power, wanting to obtain the power to defeat the monsters. But the harsh reality of what was waiting inside the tower was bloodshed. Once they entered the tower they can never leave, until they reach the last floor. The 100th floor where the gods reside. The monsters and the levels became harsher and more deadly as the people continued to climb each floor.
As the people progressed, it wasn't salvation they saw, it was misery, blooshed and they saw that they were just entertainment for the bored gods. They were nothing but toys and ants. In the end, everyone died, no one survived, some reached the 100th floor but still faced death.
After the death of all the humans, the gods decided to eradicate Earth as it was now barren and there was no more entertainment in their eyes.
One of the humans who reached the 100th floor stared at this so-called gods.
"Khukkk!"
"You will pay!"
"My people have died due to your selfish entertainment. You are no gods You are demons! Mark my words you fuckers. You will die! You will all die!"
A man with long hair, and an unkept beard, sat with his mouth gushing out with blood. His stomach had been stabbed by a huge spear and blood kept oozing out. The man's eyes looked at the gods with no fear, but only resentment and anger.
One of the gods with a long cloak and an eerie smile sat down and looked at the small human man: "And who is going to make us pay humans? The one you call your god? The god you always worship? I'll ask you where is he then when he saw his creations dying? It's simple, it's because he does not exist. We are the real gods. Not those gods you make through stupid stories and books!"
The eerie god smiled and crouched looking at the small man with his huge bloody red eyes, he pointed his huge fingers at the human man's head: "Death is inevitable for us beings, we are created through the universe's will, there is no concept of death to us unlike you flesh and mortal beings."
The human man looked at all the other gods who are all looking at him intently. He could see in the god's eyes that he is nothing but a small being they could easily kill. "I know, there is no concept of death for your beings. but what I do know is I'm not dying here. I'm going to have my revenge on all of you."
The other gods became furious due to the mortal's threat. While the other gods found him entertaining to watch. One of the god's who was furious with the threat walked closer to the man: "You stupid being how dare y-"
Before the god could ridicule him. They all looked at the red glowing stone in the human's hands. "Y-You insolent human! G-Give the stone back!" Each of the gods had different expressions. Some were scared looking at the red glowing stone, while the others looked quite amused with the human's next move.
He could only smile seeing the god's expressions. Some of the gods had fear in their eyes. 'Is this stone that important to them that they would make an expression like that?'
After seeing the glowing stone in his hands. He smiled and waved the stone in the air. "Hehehe I always wondered why you guys put this small stone in the middle of your stupid huge thrones. I thought it was important and it is. Who knew it was that easy to steal ey?"
"G-Give that back human! Y-You do not know the power of that stone!"
He smiled even more seeing the fury of the gods: "Too late!" with one grip the stone was crushed and turned to dust in his palms. "That was easy to crush? I thought it would be hard to crush since it's a stone. I thought it had any effect like giving me powers..."
The eerie god snatched him and gripped him tightly in his palms: "You don't even know how valuable the stone was. It had the power to recreate reality and you just crushed it!"
"It's that valuable to you guys? I thought it would be hard to crush. But it feels like I was just crushing an ant."
"And you would be crushed just like one" With one grip the human in the god's palm was crushed and turned into a pool of blood.
Seeing that the human died. The god's anger wasn't satisfied and each of them began complaining. "That damn human we should have killed him earlier! The stone! It was so hard to find! The fucking stone!"
The gods were left with nothing but specks of dust on the stone. They all looked troubled and each left the throne room.
The only one remaining inside the throne room is the eerie god. He kept looking at the speck of dust on the stone on the floor. 'There is no way that the stone can be that easily crushed. That stone was powerful enough to recreate realities of the universe and is just that simple to crush? I do not believe that. Unless he used the stone to escape? But how?'
After immersively thinking and finding other explanations he couldn't help but smile even wider. "Interesting, so he isn't dead. He used the stone to cast an illusion of blood that even I believed to be true and even the other gods were fooled. That mortal he used the stone! He succeeded in using the stone!" with a huge and eerie smile the god laughed inside the room as loud as he can: "I hope you can get your revenge human. Let us meet again if our fates our once again intertwined!"

He didn't have any idea what happened. When he crushed the stone into powder he was also crushed like an ant by that god. But when he was about to explode due to the pressure of the god's grip, a glowing red pigment of the dust of the stone on his hands began to flicker and magically he was sucked inside a vortex. He already felt tired after the stone sucked him inside the vortex, his stomach has a hole because of the spear and some of his bones has been crushed because of the pressure of the grip of that god. He couldn't think properly, all he can hear is inaudible loud voices.
