Not good! This was really bad. Hercules suddenly felt like a moth to a flame, his divine power dimming, the radiant white glow around him being corroded and extinguished.
What was happening?
He was bewildered. The closer he got to his opponent, the more he felt a terrifying corrosive force emanating from Su Chen, dissolving his divine power upon contact. But with his hot temper, Hercules couldn't stop his charge and collided with Su Chen.
Bang!!
It felt like hitting a massive mountain. Su Chen stood firm, right hand raised to block, unaffected by the impact.
"Impossible."
Hercules was stunned. Moments ago, he had been able to bear-hug and bulldoze Su Chen through countless buildings. Now, Su Chen's physical strength had somehow increased dramatically.
Something was wrong!
Even more shocking was that his divine power was completely extinguished.
"Get lost!"
Su Chen's face showed a contemptuous smile.
Whoosh!!
He clenched his right hand into a fist and punched Hercules.
Boom!!
The impact sent Hercules crashing to the ground like a meteor, creating a huge crater upon impact.
"Earth's gods?"
In a blink, Su Chen was at the crater's edge, moving with ghostly speed.
"You..."
Before Hercules could rise, Su Chen grabbed his neck and lifted him into the sky.
The sonic boom was deafening as Su Chen, enveloped in telekinetic waves, flew thousands of meters into the sky, carrying Hercules.
The cold winds and icy currents whipped around them.
"Let's see how strong Earth's gods really are!"
Su Chen's words sent chills down Hercules's spine.
"No!!"
Hercules realized what Su Chen intended and struggled desperately. But an overwhelming force threw him down.
Whoosh!!
Hercules plummeted like a meteor, friction with the air causing flames to burst around him, making him resemble a fireball. He crashed into a mountain.
Boom!!
The mountain crumbled under the force of Su Chen's throw, half of it collapsing. The impact sent a shockwave that uprooted trees and blanketed the sky with dust.
"Too ruthless."
"My God..."
Watching from a distance, Goliath was dumbfounded. He couldn't believe the sheer power Su Chen displayed, effortlessly toying with Hercules, a real god of Earth.
For a moment, he doubted the wisdom of their assault.
"Damn it!"
In a secret base, S.H.I.E.L.D. agents monitoring the fight through satellite feeds were equally horrified.
"It's evolution..."
"I warned Hercules to be cautious of his growth in battle, but he was too reckless."
"Damn, we shouldn't have launched this attack."
Director Hill's face darkened. She and Agent Coulson lacked the influence to effectively command the heroes they had gathered. Each hero had their own agenda and temperament. It seemed this mission was doomed.
"Will Hercules be okay?"
Everyone was worried.
"No, he's likely finished."
Even the most optimistic couldn't see hope for Hercules's survival.
Meanwhile, in the collapsed mountain, Hercules felt excruciating pain throughout his body. Even his divine form couldn't withstand such a brutal fall unscathed. Blood flowed from his wounds.
"Damn..."
Gritting his teeth, Hercules summoned his divine power to heal his injuries. But the closer he got to Su Chen, the more his power seemed to evaporate.
He couldn't continue the fight.
Hercules realized Su Chen's body had a property that neutralized his divine power. Any further combat would likely be fatal.
"Didn't you enjoy the fight earlier? Now you want to leave?"
Su Chen's voice echoed from above.
Whoosh!!
With a casual swipe of his hand, Su Chen dispersed the lingering dust.
"You..."
Before Hercules could speak, he felt his throat constrict as Su Chen's telekinesis choked him. He was lifted and then dropped into Su Chen's right hand.
"Let's play a fun game."
Su Chen's words sounded demonic to Hercules.
Next second.
Bang!!
Surrounded by telekinesis, Su Chen flew at high speed, skimming the ground. Hercules was dragged along, his body gouging a thousand-meter trench in the earth.
"Ugh!!"
Hercules coughed blood. His earlier actions had provoked Su Chen's brutal retaliation. Helpless, his divine power continually eroded by Su Chen's energy field.
"Damn it!"
Finally, Hercules was hurled like a cannonball, smashing through several distant buildings.
