As the door of the Elevator opened, smoke came out from the gap between the elevator door, both the guards started to shoot as they could not see anything.

They ran out of bullets and tried to change but Andrew cut the head of one of the guards, and the other guard's head also detached itself from his body.

The guards inside the room were more focused and vigilant but they could not help but fear what might happen to them.

They were sweating and some even had their hands shaking a bit but they were seasoned ones and collected themselves.

Andrew had his Dark Vision active.

'Hmm… 6 of them scattered in the room and one of them completely in a different area on the left, maybe inside a room, and from the looks of it, it should either be Zavez or his mother, Christine. There are also 2-Runes on the right and one on the left. I have 5 Runes now and I need one more to unlock Bend Time…'

His thoughts trailed and he decided to unlock his Strength Enhancement by using 1 Rune, the moment he did, he felt himself getting prickled all over his body and he kneeled as he felt excruciating pain. He did not scream and held it back but his body was shaking and his back was covered in sweat which could not be seen due to his outfit.

After a few seconds, he felt refreshed.

He clenched his fist and could feel the power cruising through his body.

He did not relish in the feeling and focused on the matter.

In his Dark Vision, he saw one of them on the right standing close to the wall.

He moved to him and with full power on his right hand punched making a hole in the wall and grabbing the guard's neck and dragging him back to him in full force. The force shattered the bones of the guard's left arm and his ribcage as he broke the wall when Andrew pulled him out.

Andrew threw him with the same force and the guard smashed onto the ground in full force which destroyed his nose, he rolled and came to a stop as he banged on a wall.

He would have been able to survive if his nose had not broken and if he did not lose consciousness.

The guards inside the room paled when they saw the wall break and drag one of their companions.

"Move back and stand to the side. No one near the walls in the front" ordered one of the guards who was focused though fearful.

Anyone in their situation will feel fear to see someone make a hole in the wall with their fist and drag someone as if they were weightless like a plastic cover.

Andrew saw his health go down by 3% and could see some parts of his flesh in his hands had scratches.

He used Dark Vision and walked close to the Main door again and saw all of them were standing opposite the door.

'2 of them were crouching down depicting they are hiding behind something, 3 more are sticking close to the walls to the left near a door I suppose where Zavez should be in the room,' thought Andrew.

He went back to the man-made hole that was created when Andrew pulled a guy with brute force and threw 4 Smoke Grenades.

"Grenades!!" yelled one of the guards and was quick to react.

He knocked over the table and hid behind it thinking whether he would survive the blast but what came was smoke from it.

Andrew entered through the smoke as darkness enveloped the entire room. No one was able to see anything other than Andrew as he walked toward one of the guards and choked him.

His strength increased and because of it within 3 seconds the guard lost his consciousness.

He did the same with the rest 5 of them quickly and all there was smoke with 5 guards on the ground unconscious and Andrew moving.

Andrew went to the other room and collected the two runes and once he saw the amount reached 6 without hesitation, he unlocked Bend Time.

He now stood before the door where he saw the silhouette of Zavez and his mother and he saw something he did not want to happen and the mark on his left hand glowed.

Zavez and Christine were in the room with Christine shaking in fear and holding a gun in her hands. Every single gunshot that was heard made both of them sweat. Zavez was in a better state than his mother as he had lived through many such situations.

He knew one thing he was going to die but he wanted his death to be on his makings.

He moved silently and went beside his mother who did not notice him at all as she closed her eyes hoping for good news.

Zavez brought his gun and pointed it at his mother. His hands were shaking, it was his mother and he still loved her.

'I am sorry,' he said in his heart and was about to pull the trigger.

Something strange occurred as the motion of him trying to press the button slowed down a lot though he did not realize as someone else was much faster in getting to them.

"You should not die peacefully, Zavez," said Andrew who had used Bend Time.

Zavez's eyes turned wide slowly due to the use of Bend Time in shock.

The voice that used to give him orders, the voice that had trained him, the voice that protected him in their missions, he heard that voice again, this time the voice sounded so cold and dreadful that made his knees weak.

Andrew knocked out both the son and mother.

There were chairs and he tied both of them up and tied Zavez differently as he had taught him how to free himself from a situation like this.

He saw a safe open and when looking through it there were some documents of land owned by Christine, cash, and jewelry. He then saw a suitcase that Zavez had. He collected all of the documents, cash, and jewelry and stored them in his Inventory. He then took the suitcase and saw there was a code to unlock it.

He then went to the restroom and filled the bucket there with water and brought it out. He poured the cold water on Zavez first and then on his mother.

*Splash*

Zavez who regained his consciousness saw his mother waking up.

"Andrew…," uttered Zavez.

"Ahhhh!" yelled Christine.

Once she realized she was tied up fear rose in her.

But the moment she saw Andrew with his mask on his face standing behind Zavez she felt a chill running down her spine.

"Hello, Miss Christine," said Andrew, and his voice was mechanical as he had pressed a button in the mask.

"You have given birth to an unfilial son though I don't expect much from a woman like you who killed her husband out of greed," he continued and each of his words brought dread to her as her face contorted depicting it.

"But you are not the Main cast of today, it is your son, Zavez, a member of my former team, a comrade, a brother in arms," he said and walked toward Christine and stood behind her.

"I will give you a quick death, Zavez, but I need the code for the suitcase you have, and for every five seconds I cut a finger off your mother's hand. I know you have no feelings for her but then somewhere in your heart, you will feel it. It is up to you whether she dies with all her fingers intact or not."

Christine who heard this started to cry and said, "Please… please… don't kill me. I want to live, don't kill me… please… I will give you money, everything… just let me live… please. I will make you the richest man ever…"

"Let her go and I will tell you," Zavez said coldly and his eyes showed rage.

Andrew seeing this, said, "Hmm… 5… 4… 3…"

Christine started to shake the chair but Andrew held it.

"If you cut her finger, I will never tell the code. LET HER GO!!!" Zavez yelled.

"2… 1…," counted Andrew.

He waved his right hand that held a knife and a finger came off Christine's right hand.

"AHHHHHH!!!" Christine yelled and cried in pain.

Andrew stuffed a cloth in her mouth and continued, "5… 4…"

Though Zavez came to hate his mother, a part of him always loved her, and seeing her like this in pain made him angry.

"The coward gets angry, 3… 2…"

For the next 25 seconds, Zavez did not utter a word but his face showed the pain his mother lost 6 fingers in total and she yelled in pain but never for a second did she curse at Zavez even though she wished him dead, and finally, Zavez snapped before Andrew could start the count again and see the pain increase.

Zavez told the code, "948713"

"Well, you get to have 4 fingers, Miss Christine," said Andrew.

He entered the lock code and it opened.

What was in it were photos of the mission which even Barton was not able to find.

In the document that Barton gave were mission details and who was the one who operated it and all of them who were involved in it.

Andrew uttered as he saw the contents, "You took photos. So, this was the leverage you had and the reason why they did not silence you".

'This will give me more options'

"Why did you do it?" Andrew asked coldly.

"I was offered power and money, why else? They should have fucking killed you when they had the chance. Fuck those bastards!!," Zavez cursed.

"Power and Money, Power and Money," uttered Andrew as the room turned cold. He then disappeared and reappeared in front of Zavez using Blink.

He punched him in the stomach so hard that Andrew's hand tore the flesh and went inside Zavez's stomach.

Zavez's mind did not register what happened and as his brain processed and the pain came from a hand tearing the flesh and lodging itself inside his stomach.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Zavez screamed in pain.

Due to the severe pain and blood that kept flowing out of the hole in his body that had been created as Andrew removed his hand, he was about to lose consciousness.

But Andrew did not let him as he poured the remaining water and slapped him in the face.

"Watch her die, then you have my permission to die," Andrew uttered coldly.

Zavez wanted to stop him and when he opened his mouth all that came was blood. He struggled but he could do nothing as he saw Andrew lift his mother. His eyes turned into a blur as tears welled up due to the physical and emotional pain.

Christine had already lost her consciousness due to the pain of losing her fingers and the loss of blood.

Andrew held Christine's neck and the chair she was tied to rose with her as he lifted her. He lifted her with ease with his newfound strength.

He started to grip her neck tighter and Zavez seeing this begged, "Don't…" he coughed out blood and continued, "Ple… please… let… er… ooo…".

"You and your mother don't deserve it," Andrew uttered in rage and his grip tightened more.

Christine due to losing her breath all of a sudden jolted awake and realized what was happening.

Her eyes started to bulge out, blood started to flow out from her eyes and nose as Andrew's grip turned tighter. Her face turned blue due to the loss of breath.

*SNAP*

Her neck was crushed and Andrew released his hands and he saw Zavez who was in horrifying pain become silent.

There was only one thought in his mind as he lost his life, 'Why did I…'

Anger, hatred, rage, and finally sadness took over Andrew as tears came out of his eyes.

For the next minute, Andrew stood still.

He came back to himself and motioned his hands as Zavez's head was cut off from his body.

Andrew took the Rune and the suitcase and headed back to the Elevator and pressed the button to go back.
