The hammer seemed like a shooting star, but in the opposite direction. It tore through the sky with incredible speed, ascending into the heavens.
Accompanying it were thunderous sounds.
"Jane!" Dr. Erik Selvig keenly noticed that the hammer was flying towards Thor on the ground. He quickly ran over and pulled Jane Foster away.

"Do you know, Son of Cole?" Thor addressed Phil Coulson. "We are all fighting for the same cause, to protect this world."
The space darkened, and the video ended there.
"Really? Son of Cole?" Phil Coulson looked at Thor. "Why are you calling me that name?"
"Perhaps it was the false name you told me," Thor said. "Just like how you called me Donald back then."
"I think I know why Loki wants to invade Earth," Tony Stark spoke up.
"What's your speculation?" Clint Barton asked.
"Loki wants to kill Thor, to kill the heir of Asgard. If he succeeded, that would be one thing, but he failed. After committing such acts, can he still find a place in Asgard?" Tony Stark said. "Thor, this brother complex of yours may forgive him at the first opportunity, but what about Odin? What about the people of Asgard? Can they forgive such treacherous behavior?"
"I don't know the exact reason why Thor was banished, but Thor's crimes are much smaller compared to Loki's," Clint Barton also chimed in. "If even Thor was banished, then Loki, who committed such heinous crimes, surely has no place in Asgard."
"So, Stark, are you suggesting that Loki came to Earth to find a place to establish himself?" Phil Coulson asked.
"Yes, that's what I mean," Tony Stark continued. "After Loki's failed attempt to seize the throne in Asgard, he slinked away in shame. He needed a place to settle, and Earth became his chosen destination. Since he decided to come to Earth, he might as well go all the way and proclaim himself as a king, finding some solace in it."
"What about the Chitauri?" Thor asked. "Why did Loki ally himself with the Chitauri?"
"We currently have no way to analyze that. We don't have any relevant clues," Tony Stark said. "But from Loki's failed attempt to assassinate you and seize the throne to his invasion of Earth, there was a year's time. Perhaps Loki, for some reason, gained the support of the Chitauri during that year."
"Thor, how much do you know about the Chitauri?" Phil Coulson asked.
"Not much, they seem to consider themselves part of some universal immune system, with the mission to eradicate disorder and free will," Thor replied.
"???" Everyone looked confused. What did that even mean?
