Lord Gremlin?!

Realisation hit her and she figured out that he was right, there was only one person that had ever owned that name and because he did no one else was brave enough to call themselves that name.

How could she not have remembered this?!

So it's either the young man changed his name later on when he found out about the name or he... she shook her head to repel the thoughts that came to her mind, she didn't want to think or even imagine that that young man she met grew up to be the Lord Gremlin everyone knew now, it would be disastrous if that really happened,

but if truly he grew up to be Lord Gremlin then it means she and Lord Gremlin are fated, cause how could she meet him in her past life and even this life, although she haven't met him in person, his name was the first name she was associated with when she came back to life in this body, she remembered trying to have remembered if she had met someone like that before but she couldn't, it might have been because she had almost forgotten about this piece of memory herself.

Lu yao yin slapped herself to bring back her mind from how she and Lord Gremlin were fated back to how to retrieve the blueprint, if that blueprint was truly in the hands of someone like Lord Gremlin then her revenge was as good as flopped

"keep checking, there must be someone else with that name, maybe someone who takes Lord Gremlin as a mentor or something, I need to know all their locations if you find any"

"but boss_" he was going to refute but she cut him off

"don't make me remember that you misplaced the letter I asked you to guard, I need to find that anonymous sender to be sure it's just a prank and not real"

He didn't understand what she meant, it sounded to him like she was talking gibberish till he noticed her signal to the surveillance camera with her eyes

Si xunmi wasn't done with correlating the list of people acting as moles for Ah Se mi so she was always cautious whenever she was discussing anything in her office, most time she would even prefer discussing somethings at home.

"Yes I'll find the letter as soon as possible before it falls into the hands of someone else" He bowed and left the office

She slumped on her chair and exhaustedly massage her temples, she was stressed mentally not physically. she was worried to the point her mood kept hitting rock bottom, she couldn't find anything to lighten her mood, her expression was dead cold and she couldn't focus on the documents she intended to go through.

How couldn't she be worried, that piece of blueprint was part of her revenge and if it suddenly went Miss then her plan won't be effective and every thing she was trying to stop would just come to pass right before her very eyes

"hmm" she sighed for like the twentieth time, trying to cool her anger. on day like this she needed a sparing partner that she could release all of her anger on

The day passes with her mood on stand still, people in the office hid in their shells when they heard their boss was in a very bad mood hoping her mood would be better the next day but luck wasn't on their side as the mood had continued like that for days in a roll, it could even have been said to have dropped even further.

Every day that Si Lu te haven't found the blueprint dropped her mood even further, the blueprint, the bird, the watch and even the boy seemed to have disappeared into thin air, Lu yao yin had even explained that day and described the boy to Si Lu te thinking it would help in the search but it came back with the same reply that he could find anything, She asked Little sparrow to run a database on the name Gremlin but it all kept pointing to Lord Gremlin.

now she was conflicted on whether to seek out Lord Gremlin and confirm if he was the little boy from then or not and if he truly was the little boy then and if he turned out to be the boy, she didn't mind going to any length just to get the blue print back.

She was drafting out a plan in her head when her phone rang,

"Hello" she answered coldly without even checking who it was

"it seems the rumor is true, your mood is really bad"

she could tell who it was from that voice "Zi yichen why are you calling me?"

"I've come to take you out, don't think about saying no cause I'm outside your office building, at least come out and lighten your mood a little"

She didn't hesitate cause she also felt stuffy sitting in the office, as far as she was alone she would be thinking about the problem on her hands but with someone like Zi yichen maybe her mood would really lighten a little

"fine I'll be down in a second"

she left her office and headed to the lobby, wherever she passed workers scurried off, how could they not when they rumors of how she scolded a lady into tears was running rampant in tho office, even the directors has had it tough this past few days. They had even been working overtime this days since none of them could dare leave before she did and because her mood was bad, she always buried herself into work till the late hours of the night just to keep herself busy

"where to?" she asked when she got into the car

"you'll see" he replied and sped off,

Few minutes they arrived at a popular restaurant, the restaurant was popular cause it was known to host little fighting contest some nights once in a while, this night was one of those many night that a competition would be hosted. The restaurant was filled to the brim, people gathered just to watch the little competition

Lu yao yin and Zi yichen had gotten a booth on the second floor, so it was easy for them to see the fight going on in the ring placed in the middle of the first floor. she ate her food gradually and waited for the fight to start, she too was intrigued to see what kind of fighters they had brought.

Ding! Ding!!

a bell rang and the host stepped into the ring and introduced the fighters, gambling was not allowed but that didn't stop the people from making little bets amoung themselves, they bet amongst themselves and place little stakes that wouldn't bring about fight. Even Zi yichen was infected with the urge to bet

"want to bet?, let's see who has a good eyesight on who would win"

"what's at stake?" she asked back, she wasn't stupid to agree on a bet just like that.

"whosoever loses the bet gets to Grant an unconditionally favour to the winner"

"okay, sure I'm in" she agreed and then the fight began

In the ring, a bald burly man stood up against a shrimpy man, from their stance and physique, everybody could see that the Shrimpy man didn't stand a chance against the bald man. The rule of the game was that the last person standing when the countdown reach 0 is the winner

Zi yichen bet the bald man while she choose the slim man, although the bald man looked like he had many advantage over his opponent, he also had many visible flaws that could be used against him. At the beginning of the fight the bald man was already winning, the slim man has been knocked to the floor multiple times already, People cheered and shouted for the people they had bet on

"it seems I'm going to win this bet" Zi yichen said smugly

she scoffed sarcastically then pointed to the ring "are you sure about that?"

in the next minute the bald man hit the floor and didn't show any signs of getting up, the shrimpy man had knocked him out with a blow to his neck, the countdown started and those that bet on the bald man prayed he got up before it got to 0

"1!" everybody echoed together but something unexpected happened before the countdown hit 0

The slim man suddenly passed out too, everybody was surprised, it was just a second more and the countdown clock would have hit 0 but he had fainted before that so he too wasn't the winner.

Lu yao yin thought her actions was discreet but not only Zi yichen but someone else on the same floor as them had noticed the small nut that had flown from the second floor and knocked that man unconscious.

Zi yichen looked at her inquisitively, most times he thought he had known her, there would be an attribute that proves him wrong
