At Night…

Ahmer was watching her today's recordings on loop on his laptop.

The screen was showing her video of sitting with her head in her knees, holding herself together.

She was in pain.

She had been wronged.

She was tired of all this.

But she never looks up.

The screen shows Maira coming for her.

She doesn't even say a word to her.

She can let her frustration out.

But she didn't.

Now, the screen was showing her reaction after seeing her gift in worst state.

She got hurt after seeing the tie.

Tears were evident in her eyes when she was holding it in her hand.

She suddenly got up and get out of the door.

He waits for her.

She has to come to him.

She will definitely ask him about the things happening to her in this office.

She will blame him.

Then he will accept all his doings.

And will tell her.

That how much he hates her.

He will see her hurt reaction.

Maybe that will cause him some satisfaction.

But she never came.

And he never said.

He was thinking all of this. Half of the night had already passed but there were not any signs of him for sleep.

She is always like this.

Not wanting to say even a word to me.

Am I that bad from start?

Past…

He was sitting in juice shop with his friends when she too came with her friends there.

His friends start teasing him.

She was just standing there waiting for their order.

"Why don't you just go and talk to her directly?" His friend asked him.

"I don't want her to think of me a guy with bad intentions just like others."

"But if she likes you too then she will definitely don't mind."

"Like? You think I'm sure of it? I don't even know she knows my name or not."

"Well, she will definitely get to know your name if she doesn't already know." Another friend added.

"But how?" Another one asked.

"I have an idea."

They discussed it and all were agreed.

Ahmer then got up and leave the place in front of her.

"His friends start calling out to him."

"Hey Ahmer!"

"Where are you going?"

"Let Adeen go with you."

"Ahmer!"

She looks back for a moment.

She saw him going far and then returned to her unaware state.

Their order arrives, so she leaves the shop with her friends.

Back To Present Time…

Why did she toy with my feelings?

Did I deserve that heartbreak back then?

What was my mistake?

He closes his eyes.

Numerous flashbacks appeared in his mind.

Her eyes.

Her smile.

Her everything.

This was getting intense.

Suddenly he opens eyes as this was unbearable for him.

His eyes were red.

He shutdown his laptop and prepares to sleep.

But he knows sleep will again torture him tonight.

Next Day…

Next day was somehow easy for her.

But she has already made her decision.

She was doing all her day's tasks with the same obedience.

At the lunchtime, she goes with Maira. She also wants to talk to her and let her know her decision as she was her only friend in the office.

"Maira! I want to say something to you."

"Go ahead. I'm all ears." She said while munching her food."

"This is my last day here. I'm resigning."

Maira look at her solemn face.

"Are you sure?"

"Damn sure."

"Well. Just listen to me with a relaxed mind this time. Final decision is surely yours."

Ansha just nodded her head.

"I know. I can see all the situation here.

Everyone here is welcoming which you yourself experience but suddenly this change of behavior of head is suspicious to all of us.

All other colleagues are just afraid of helping you because if anyone wants to help you, that person also got punished somehow.

That punishment would be anything, it can be overtime, or extra workload, that's why they all just want to stay away from trouble.

"Yeah! I understand." Ansha replied.

"I know this too that the whole situation is more complex than we employees can see.

Ansha was somehow shocked after listening to her. She kept her head low.

"I can see you are a confident girl with a bright future. But don't ruin it. Running away from your problems is not the solution. You have to face it. And solve it.

I trust you Ansha. You can do this." She squeezes her hand.

"Now eat you have half a day to think about this but only five minutes to eat."

Maira look at her. She starts eating but her mind was elsewhere.

At Night…

"I'm glad you didn't resign.

See you tomorrow.

Ansha was already in bed when she receives Maira's message. She doesn't feel any need to reply to her.

She closes her eyes.

The memories haunt her every night.

Yes, I'm is always like this.

Always running away.

She doesn't ask him back then.

How can she talk to him now?

He didn't give her any right.

He breaks my heart.

He gives me hopes.

Why he does that?

When he already had a girl in his heart.

He broke my heart.

Then just disappears from my life.

Now he is already troubling me.

What I did to deserves this?

I know.

My only mistake is to love him.

But I'll suffer no more.
