75 Set Up an Appointment

Two days later, Zhang Jing appeared in Zhang Yu Han's office. He walked in after knocking twice and sat down around the coffee table.

Seeing that his grandfather had walked in and sat down without saying anything much, Zhang Yu Han quickly saved the file on his computer and called over his secretary to bring in some tea. Then, he walked over to the coffee table and choose the seat opposite of his grandfather.

"When will your sister, Yu Ying arrive?"

"This Friday. Jun Hao and I will be picking her up from the airport."

Zhang Jing nodded. "Tell her to spend stay at the residence before she decides on a place to live."

"Of course."

At this time, Zhang Yu Han's secretary walked in with a tray of tea and refreshment. She served the refreshment on the table and tacitly walked out.

Zhang Jing picked up the teacup and took a sip. Then, the two of them chatted a little bit about Zhang Yu Han's trip to inspect their other hotel branch all over the country. "Have you found the site you're looking for?"

"Not yet," Zhang Yu Han admitted. "Xiao Feng had suggested a few suitable places, but I haven't made up my mind. Since you have given me your trust to manage everything, I wanted to be more careful."

Zhang Jing nodded again. This time, a small smile appeared on his lips. "Since you haven't found a suitable site yet, I wanted to recommend a site for you. A friend of mine was looking for investors and I thought it would be good if you go and take a look."

Because he wanted to give a surprise to his grandson, Zhang Jing deliberately did not want to say Li Qin Yao's name and only refer her as a representative.

Zhang Yu Han frowned a little bit. His grandfather had given him his authorization to decide on everything. But seeing that his grandfather was about to interfere with the location, of course, Zhang Yu Han had a bit of dissatisfaction.

"I have already set up an appointment for you and the representative from the other side to discuss this matter," Zhang Jing continued. "I know that I have permitted you to do everything your way, but I hope that you can go and meet this representative. Whether you decide to work with them or not will depend on you. I won't say anything if you reject their proposal."

Hearing his grandfather's words, Zhang Yu Han was a bit relieved. "Where is this project located?"

"B City. You must have heard that the government is going to turn B City to a tourism city, right?" Zhang Jing spoke. "Even if you did not want to work with this developer, it would be good for you to look around and listen to it a little bit."

Zhang Yu Han nodded. Seeing that his grandfather subtly wanted him to go, he can only agree to it. He decided to go and meet with the person and rejected them politely. His grandfather did say that it would be up to him to reject if he found it not to his liking. Besides, although he had not decided on the location, he already had his eyes on a few locations. The seaside location that Lin Xiao Feng suggested the other day seemed like a good place for him to start.

"Then, you should meet the representative next Monday, at Coffee Sanctuary in B City. It was just the opposite of the train station in B City. It shouldn't be hard for you to get there. I will update your secretary with the location and time. You just have to be there." Zhang Jing picked up the teacup again to hide his smile. But then, he recalled that the tea tasted awful since it has turned cold.

Meanwhile, Zhang Yu Han's body turned still as he heard of the location. Coffee Sanctuary… wasn't that the coffee shop where he had met Li Qin Yao after the two had mistakenly taken each others' phone?

His lips curved into a smile at the memory. Zhang Yu Han quickly hid his smile away before his grandfather would notice and probe. Just like that, the grandfather and grandson were both hiding their smiles from each other, while thinking about the same person in their mind.

"Right. I visited Miss Li's place a few days ago," Zhang Jing started.

"Why did you go and look for her?" Zhang Yu Han panicked when his grandfather mentioned the name. Though he knew that Li Qin Yao had accompanied his grandfather for dinner once, and they were now on friendly terms, Zhang Yu Han was worried that his grandfather might say something inappropriate about him.

Once Zhang Jing heard his grandson's question and tone, his face turned displeased. "I went to her cafe to eat since she had invited me to come. Why? Is there something wrong about that?"

"No. Of course not." Zhang Yu Han took a deep breath to calm down, noticing that perhaps he was too anxious.

Zhang Jing snorted. "Anyway, at the end of the day, we both exchanged contact. I now have her number." He then leaned forward with a teasing smile on his face. "Do you want it?"

Zhang Yu Han stared at his grandfather in disbelief. With a chuckle, he spoke. "No need. I already have Miss Li's number." To prove it to his grandfather, Zhang Yu Han took out his phone and showed it to him.

Hearing his response, Zhang Jing face turned a shade darker. "Didn't you say that you did not have her number?"

"Well, I lied." Zhang Yu Han's answer only made his grandfather angrier. "I did not want you to go and find her. Grandfather, I know what you were going to do." He had stayed with his grandfathers for a few years and could guess what was the old man thinking. Like every other grandparent, Zhang Jing too was worried about his marriage. "But I advise you not to interfere. Miss Li… she had a boyfriend."

"What nonsense are you saying?" Zhang Jing frowned. Then he noticed that something was not right. "How did you know that she had a boyfriend?"

"I've seen them together a few times before."

Zhang Jing stared at his grandson for a few seconds longer. He was sure that the girl had said that she was single after she broke up with her boyfriend not too long ago. Li Qin Yao had no reason to lie about such things, and from his investigation, he indeed had heard that she had broken up with her boyfriend.

However, it looks like his grandson did not have this information.

Though it would be wise to share this information with his grandson right now, Zhang Jing decided that he should keep this information to himself. Who asked Zhang Yu Han to lie and kept his future granddaughter's number from him!
