76 Picking Up Zhang Yu Ying

On Friday afternoon, Zhang Yu Han and Wei Jun Hao showed up at the airport to pick up Zhang Yu Ying.

"How many years has it been since the last time I saw your sister?" Wei Jun Hao said as the two were craning their neck to look for Zhang Yu Han's sister.

Zhang Yu Han only stared at his friend without answering. It was not as if Wei Jun Hao was expecting any reply from him anyway.

Wei Jun Hao has been chatting nonstop ever since he came over to Zhang Yu Han's place to pick him up. Although Zhang Yu Han had not mentioned anything about picking up his sister, Wei Jun Hao showed up at his place earlier in the morning with breakfast anyway and volunteered to drive.

Through his conversation with Wei Jun Hao in the past, Zhang Yu Han could deduce that his friend has been in touch with his sister, but he was sure that Wei Jun Hao and his sister were not in a relationship. At least not yet.

If Zhang Yu Han had liked Li Qin Yao for ten years, Wei Jun Hao has liked his sister longer than that.

Almost twenty minutes of waiting, a familiar figure emerged and was heading to the arrival hall. The young girl was wearing black pants with a matching blazer and a pink shirt. Her long hair was tied in a ponytail, and she was tugging along her pastel pink luggage behind her. A smile appeared on her face when she saw her brother. Zhang Yu Ying turned around to the person behind her before she picked up her pace and jogged over to her brother in her high heels.

Before Zhang Yu Han could react, his sister has already pounced into him and hugged him. "Brother!"

Zhang Yu Han steadied himself to stop himself from falling and sighed as he peeled away from his sister. "How was your flight?"

"It was okay," Zhang Yu Ying clicked her tongue at her brother's reaction. She straightened up, turned to Wei Jun Hao and gave him a look. "Brother Jun Hao. You look exactly the same as you were before."

Wei Jun Hao stared at her in a daze before he pulled himself together and forced a smile. He had noticed that tall figure in a baseball cap and a black varsity jacket beside Zhang Yu Ying for a while.

Seeing the way the two of them acted intimately with each other, Wei Jun Hao felt a tug in his heart. His thought began to wander, thinking that perhaps he was too late and would suffer the same fate as his best friend.

Zhang Yu Han cast a sideways glance at his friend and naturally could guess what was on Wei Jun Hao's mind. He turned to his sister's friend and asked, "Who is your friend?"

"Right," Zhang Yu Ying turned around and pulled her friend closer. "Brother, you remember my friend, Xiao Ran?"

"Hello," Xiao Ran took off her baseball cap and looked up.

Both Zhang Yu Han and Wei Jun Hao were surprised upon hearing Xiao Ran's voice. Their eyes widened as they met the girl's clear, bright eyes.

Years ago, Xiao Ran still had long hair and would usually wear skirts. It was surprising to see that the girl had changed her image so much that both Zhang Yu Han and Wei Jun Hao would think that she was a boy. When they saw Zhang Yu Ying showed up, they both had thought that Zhang Yu Ying had brought along her boyfriend!

Wei Jun Hao let out a breath of relief before he greeted the girl. "Xiao Ran, look at you. You're really tall now." He glanced at Zhang Yu Ying and chuckled.

Zhang Yu Ying's face turned a shade darker. "What was that? Are you laughing at me? I'm not short!"

Seeing that the two of them were about to start quarreling, Zhang Yu Han chose to shift their attention. "How did you two meet?"

"I met Xiao Ran in T Country," Zhang Yu Ying said. "When she heard that I'm coming back, Xiao Ran said that she wanted to come along with me to visit her grandparents. Right. Brother, can we drop off Xiao Ran at her place first?" Zhang Yu Ying asked her brother.

Zhang Yu Han glanced at his friend and raised a brow. Seeing Wei Jun Hao nodded, Zhang Yu Han replied. "Sure."

Once they dropped her friend off, Zhang Yu Ying waved her hands out the window until the vehicle turned at a junction. She rolled the windows up and turned around.

"How did your friend change so much?" Wei Jun Hao's nature to gossip had come forth ever since he saw Xiao Ran at the airport, but he had held back since the subject was still around.

Zhang Yu Ying put her hand under her chin. "To make it short, she liked a guy, and that guy did not like her back." She tried to lean forward to the front seat but was restricted by her seat belt. "Let's not talk about my friend." She turned to her brother with apparent excitement on her face. "Brother, I heard that you have recently reunited with your first love. Why didn't you say anything to me? Am I still your sister?"

Zhang Yu Han glanced at his friend the moment he heard his sister's question. "The two of you have been talking about me?" It seemed as if he was looking at Wei Jun Hao with a lazy gaze, however, only Wei Jun Hao knew that he was silently sending him a warning.

"Don't blame Brother Jun Hao," Zhang Yu Ying slapped her brother's shoulder once. "I wanted to introduce you to my friend, but Brother Jun Hao said that it would be impossible. He has no choice but to tell me everything under my coercion. So, when am I meeting my sister-in-law?"

"It looks like it will be sometimes before you're going to meet her," Wei Jun Hao glanced at Zhang Yu Ying through the mirror. "Your brother has not won your sister-in-law's heart yet."

"Huh?" Zhang Yu Ying turned to her brother with her eyes wide. "You haven't? Brother. Do you need my help?"

Hearing the two of them discussing her love life, Zhang Yu Han can only bear with it. If they were in his car, he would have stopped at the side, and send them both out. But unfortunately, they were in Wei Jun Hao's SVU and had no other choice but to send a warning gaze to both of them every now and then.

However, Zhang Yu Han's lips subconsciously curved into a smile as his thought went to Li Qin Yao. Because he was too busy with works, it seemed that he has not seen that girl since the last time they went out in Capital City.

Once he recalled that he would be heading to B City in a few days to meet a developer, Zhang Yu Han made a plan to drop by Li Qin Yao's cafe to see her again.
