Abnormal speed
Deep in her thoughts she kept staring at the lake. Luca ran like a normal human being until he was out of Aria's site. Then he zoomed to his Villa, took a jeans and t-shirt for ocean and zoomed back. No one ever knew the reason how Moon could run with
such high speed.
He was a warewolf, running fast was part of their gift but not normal when too fast, he was zooming like a vampire and that wasn't normal. But Luca never cared about it, he wasn't allowed to show his ability and gift, not even around the pack members.
He carefully went back to Aria and gave her dry clothes. She stood up and Luca turned around to give her some privacy. When she was done with changing she called him out. Luca turned back to her. A smile made its way to his lips. He was drooling over her but she didn't feel scared or creepy. She narrowed her eyes in nervousness with a shy smile on her lips.
"It's like these clothes are made for you.
"What do you mean? she was puzzled
"I mean you look beautiful in my clothes". Luca said
Aria blushed even more and Moon chuckled. She suddenly remembered to go home "I need to get back, uncle Paul must be worried about me.
"Hey! When will we meet again?" Luca asked
"Monday, at school. Bye Luca" She said
"Bye Aria. Take care "Aria went back home. It was dusk by then. She didn't know how but she spent a whole day with Luca As she stepped into the Villa, Paul came to her and wrapped his arms around her. For a moment she didn't understand what happened.
He broke the hug and yelled at her. "Where the hell have you been?" She got scared, no one ever had talked to her this loud. Her eyes welled up and she ran back to her room. She locked herself in and sobbed hard. Aria was a very pampered girl.
Being an only child, her parents never scolded her, they never even raised their voices in front of her. She kept crying until all thetears in her eyes as she fell asleep. On the other hand, Luca went back to his Villa and was welcomed by his angry, older brother, Ryker. Ryker wasn't just Luca's older brother but also the Alpha of the pack Luca's parents and all other creatures followed in New Orleans.
He was strong, wise and very well smart. All the other packs respected him. Luca was about to step in when Ryker blocked his way and asked him angrily. "Where were you the whole day?"
"Chill bro, I was at the lake.
"The whole day"
"Yep. Arything else, I'm hungry." Luca replied Ryker shook his head, seeing the
childishness of his younger brother. He knew about the gifted ability of Luca. It was his idea to keep it all a secret. He loved his younger brother so much and couldn't see him getting hurt ever. So they decided to keep Luca's gift a secret.
He went back into the Villa, went to him and engulfed him in a long, strong brotherly hug. He had missed him. Luca was still a baby for him. He took all the responsibilities of the pack just because he never wanted his brother to bear all these burdens. He wanted Luca to live his life the way he wants.
He broke the hug and they went to the dinning table together and ate together with so many brother to brother chats they hadn't had in a while.
Aria woke up when she heard a knock on her bedroom door. She got up and slowly opened the door. Catherine was standing on the other side of the door. She had a tray full of food and a glass of juice. She came in and sat at the edge of the bed.
Aria came and sat beside her. Catherine didn't speak a single word. She filled a spoon with pasta and held it for Aria to eat. Catherine fed Aria by her hands and she silently ate it all. As she finished her dinner Catherine gave her the glass and she drank all the juice.
She gave the glass back to Catherine, it was then she spoke in a low and loving tone.
"What happened honey? Tell me".
Tears welled up in Aria's eyes again as she slowly expiained everything toCatherine. It was then, she realized that she didn't tipped off but was pushed into the lake. Catherine fumed up hearing all of the events that had happened in the morning.
Aria also told her that if it wasn't for Luca, she would have died. Everyone knew that Aria can't swim. Her father never let her. Fuming in anger, she held Aria's hand and took her to the living room where the twins were watching a movie along with their father. Catherine turned off the TV and angrily asked them.
They tried to deny it but Paul always knew whenever his daughters tried to lie. Guilt washed over him and it was soon turned in anger. He stood up and spoke to his daughters."Today you have done something
that will never be forgiven. How could you even think of pushing her in that lake? And here you have told us a totally different story.
I am grateful to Mr. Morris who saved her. From now on, you two have restraining orders, all three of you staying far away from
Aria I will speak to principal Cole and tell him that too. As I know none of you share a single class with her, if I found out any of you ever tried to lay a finger on Aria I won't hesitate for single second to send all two of you to jail. Understood?
They all nodded and left the living room. Paul turned back to face Aria's, his eyes filled with fear. A tear escaped his eye and Aria wiped it off of his cheek. He pulled her in a protectivehug, sobbing hard on his chest Aria couldn't hold back her tears. Paul took her back to her bedroom and stayed by her side until she fell asleep, dreaming happily.
Weekend passed like a flash and Monday morning came. Both Luca and Aria were excited to see each.other back to school. Luca got ready, ate his breakfast real guick and ran to his car. Marie knew the reason for his excitement, she shook her head, smiling cheekily on his happiness.
Luca got into the car and drove off fast. He reached the Hunt's Villa in 15 minutes. He pressed his hand on the horn and Aria came out greeting him happily "Hey! how are you" Luca said
They didn't speak much, as Luca started the car and drove off fast. They reached the school, Luca parked his car and they both got out. They held hands and walked into the school. They were looking so cute. Everyone admired the couple where The twin's were burning in rage. They wanted to murder Aria. How could he? He was waiting for the angle of his life.
Aria was the only girl who caught Luca's eye. He was crazy for her. They happily went to their classes together. To their surprise, they had all the same subjects. Aria sat beside Luca in each and every class and this time, Aria happily sat with him.
