He said with a firm tone that made me shriek backwards with fear . A knot tied in my stomach . I could feel a ball of air stuck in my throat that I couldn't even make an objection to his words. I just walked away in a real hurry so that he won't ask me to wait . I got in the car took deep breaths. Honestly I was nervous how was I going to give an explanation at the event ?? What will I say that made me run like a scared rabbit. I scratched my neck nervously the whole time I thought about President Jung. I really messed up my life .

Sudden flash of heat started creeping my skin . It was real creepy . The driver was driving as if he was running a race because within an hour we were outside the hall where the event was taking place .

I got out of the car damn I couldn't act calm my heart was racing like crazy . Before I could get to the entrance of the hall the paparazzi was already circling around me throwing different question.

" what made you run like Cinderella who have seen the Prince " one of the journalist asked

" could it be you saw your lover" another question popped out from one of the famous journalist writer Miss Tryna . She was an English woman known for interfering in the love affairs of celebs

I froze to all their questions I couldn't even mumble word ,,, I felt suffocated all the confidence I had left me stripped naked in front of the paparazzi.

Tryna : could it be it's true you saw your lover because your body tensed to all my questions ..or is it the guy you were seen getting in Monalisa five star hotel ( Ruyi took a step backwards almost losing her balance. Her eyes widened open with fear )

So Tryna is stalking me ? How did she get to know of this lucky Feifei came to my rescue

Feifei: no questions !!! Ruyi go in there I will deal with them,,, ( she said pulling Ruyi inside the hall)

Tryna: soon you will be exposed that you are nothing than just a disgusting whore who sleep with big fish for roles!! ( she shouted after Ruyi)

Her voice echoed in my ears I felt a sharp penetrating pain building up in my chest. I felt as if something had just sucked air out of my lungs. I bit my lower lip to stop myself from crying . Acting like I heard nothing ,I sauntered in the hall everyone gaze fell on me it felt like they already know my secret . I felt exposed as I strolled the red carpet cameras were flashing all over me . I managed to smile. Ye Ling came to receive me with her natural angelic smile.

Ye Ling: you got me worried I'm glad you are back( she whispered to Ruyi as they strolled hand in hand to the stage )

Me: I'm sorry about that( she said with an apologetic look)

Ye Ling: As long you are okay I'm happy .... I will perform with you don't worry..( Ye Ling whispered trying to boost Ruyi confidence)

We went to sit side by side on the vacant seats

I didn't expect her to do this for me. I thought she was joking till Mr Lee called out to both our names people cheered like crazy . She smiled at me as she offered me her hand I blinked more than twice before placing my own palm in hers . We stood up to the stage

Ye Ling: which song you would like to sing?

I looked at her for a moment contemplating to her question

Me : shy ...

It was for her ,

_Ruyi first closed her eyes shutting her thoughts from all the worries . She replaced them with colours a small smile flashed on her face everyone wondered what she was smiling at. Jung had a calm expression on his face looking at the beauty he thought he will never meet again . He never missed every gesture Ruyi made ._

_When she opened her mouth it was like she was reawakening all the dead spirits in humans as everyone's lips jaws dropped. She sang like an angel from the fairy tail stories . She kept her eyes closed imagining Ye Ling surrounded with different colours of the World , she lifted everyone's spirits_

_Everyone was dumbfounded hearing her melodious voice even Ye Ling was quite amazed . When Ruyi opened her eyes..vaguely becoming aware of the World around her . she suddenly turned nervous...beads of sweat glistened her forehead seeing the awe looks from everyone in the hall including Ye Ling though she made her best to avoid eye_contact with Jung she felt he had the same expression . No one made a sound it was like the entire Hall was covered by a blanket of silence_

Me: d...did I sing very bad ( she stuttered looking at the stunned Me Ying)

Ye Ling: yes ...very bad ..( she paused seeing a flash of panic on Ruyi's face , her face flushed red....Ye Ling smiled and continued) ..you mesmerized and charmed everyone with your angelic voice ...wooowww you did it

Mr Lee: wow where did you get that voice from there was a woman once who had such a sweet voice but she disappeared with no trace ...( he said with a sad tone)

I don't know why Mr Lee had tears in his eyes . Suddenly he hugged me everyone stood up clapping their hands . A tear dropped from my eye . I couldn't have made it if it wasn't for my idol Ye Ling . Mr Lee pulled back

Mr Lee: I would love to know you better Ruyi .

Me: thank you sir

Though I never looked at the direction of President Jung to the Young Company I could feel his sharp daggers probing my skin. I could feel his burning eyes all over me . I did my best to remain composed.

We got off the stage Feifei came to receive me

Feifei: Miss Ye ....( she said with a slight bow of respect)

Ye Ling: no need for that ...we are now good friends ( she said with her usual soft voice)

Crystal one of the most successful and respected Manager to Ye Ling walked to us . Ye Ling quickly excused us.

Feifei: owww new friend ( she said as she caught Ruyi gaze following Ye Ling)

I turned to look at her

Me: I have to tell you something ( she said gawking around)

Feifei : that Tryna knows your secret ,

Me: yes ( she replied bluntly)

Lucky Mr Lee announced that we were all taking a break so many celebrities were standing in groups gossiping I guess .

Feifei: I think she was bought to defame you ..but how can you also be careless ,you_( she stopped when Ye Ling and Crystal approached with other big stars)

Feifei and I quickly smiled as the Queen approached she introduced me to her couple of friends . That's when I caught Jung looking around
