It seemed like he was searching for someone I could see everyone in the hall especially women were giving him lusty looks . He stood up as if he wanted to leave the hall I took a deep sigh of relief . Thank God he should leave now . He was looking at the exit door . His guards stood behind him

Ling: is he about to leave ??? So soon (, she said with dissapointment)

Suddenly he halted causing everyone in the hall to blink with curiosity . Did he forgot something ?? I felt like I was going to swoop right away . I could hear whispers from many people in the room

In the amidst of the speculation my eyebrows knotted looking at Jung his expression was fixated on the huge exit door but he looked like a Beast of the jungle who had just smelled the scent of his prey and was currently using his senses to detect . I stopped breathing . For long second everyone was quite waiting for President Jung's next move . Watching like a movie in slow motion he turned around .

I thought he was looking for Ye Ling after all no guy would dare to ignore her beautiful looks and leave without saying a word to her . Wait !? What? Is he looking at me . I don't know why his gaze fell on me .

He looked at me as if he had finally spotted his prey . I averted my gaze from him looking side ways hoping he was looking at someone else all this was just an imaginary dream to my surprise I was suddenly alone .The people who were standing besides me were all gone . There were only lights in the room and only the two of us were still breathing the rest turned dissipating mist .

He sauntered haughtily to me ...with each every cold step he took forward me my heart started beating wildly . No this can't happen . I wanted for run but I was rooted to the ground . My heart sank looking into his eyes I felt as if something devilish and godly at the same time was about to trap my soul with it's ancient like black pearls .

His gaze never leaved mine for a second . His dark unfathomable eyes were quite scarier I felt as if they were sucking life out of me just with one look . Suddenly he was a meter close to me ,..why me ?? I'm just a bystander no one ever look at why him??

He stood in front of me like a tall giant I held my breath .

Jung: you sang very well ,,,( his voice touched the sensitive skin of my body the next I felt goosebumps all over me)

He had a deep masculine voice that sent chills down ones spine with that I felt as if I've just resurrected from the dead . That's when I noticed Ye Ling was besides.

With those words he passed by me .

Ye Ling: long time ....( she said with a sweet voice)

Jung: Ling ....you looking gorgeous today ,,

Was he really looking at me or at Ye Ling. I quietly excused myself as I felt something I couldn't describe. It looks like they knew each other very well .

Why am I even thinking about them . Feifei followed me to the washroom .

Feifei: Ruyi_ why was the President looking at you??

Me: he was?? No he was looking at Ling ( she said hurriedly)

Feifei: everyone thinks he was looking at her but I saw it his expression was fixated on you,,,, ( she said wit a giggle)

Me: I think I have to go ...I'm sure I'm not going to win any award tonight .

Feifei: you look bothered what's wrong?? ( she said touching Ruyi forehead)

Me: I'm not it's just a lot happened today ..( she said with a low tone) and please no one should see us leaving

Feifei: okay.. by the way I felt proud of you tonight ( she said hugging Ruyi) a drink for that

She took out two glasses she had a bottle of champagne. She poured some in my glass I drank one glass . Feifei only drank a sip . I don't know why after the drink I started feeling strange.

Feifei: you okay??

I managed to smile and nodded , we used the backdoor to sneak out the hall . Suddenly I started feeling dizzy .

Feifei: Ruyi !!

I looked at her....her face was blur . I couldn't clearly see her

Me: you look strange ....( she whispered then she landed on the ground with a thud )
