like the morning dew

YAN RU YI

I was dumbfounded by what he said to me I swear my eyes popped out of their sockets. Is he for real besides him saying the most puzzling thing my heart floated to his compliment . I smiled subconsciously.

Jung: you smiling ? ( he said giving her an intent look somehow amazed by how her smile made his heart skip. He felt like capturing it and hide it in his pocket for the future . His thoughts wondered how can one possess a smile which soothes one mind ...it was like a momentarily relief to him .Like the morning dew he found himself sinking deep in her smile)

When I lifted up my face my eyes locked with his decoying eyes ....My mind suddenly screamed danger Ruyi look away . To my surprise my own eyes betrayed me they couldn't bear looking away from his gaze it was like walking away from my life holder . He looked at me with an empty gaze that it was hard to read what he was thinking about. "Oh My God I can't breath"!! He is so breathtaking ....my first strongest feeling .

Jung: Ruyi,, ( He whispered her name making her wake up from her crazy dream ...the World was like in circles when he said her name . It remainder her of that night when she gave her pride away ...the night her heart trapped itself in an iron cage...the night he said her name ...her skin burned under his gaze ...her chest tightened)

Time froze everything turned silent . His torturing gaze was still on me still showing no emotions. I wanted to say something just to break the blanket of silence on us but couldn't my voice. Better stay quite. We were disturbed by his phone ringing.

He quickly shifted away his gaze taking his phone from the pocket of his pants. I took a deep sigh finally I can breath .

Jung: what do you want ( he asked with a cold tone)

Voice: I'm alone Joong can you please come and give me company just for tonight ...( Ruyi's heart started beating so fast as she recognized the tone of the voice )

I don't know why but my heart suddenly become gloomy . I don't know why but I felt as if a blade has just struck my heart and twisted it. Jung got out of the car immediately .....

He returned later looking so irritated .

Jung: this driver will take you to your place ,, will talk later about my request ...

Me: and you?? ( she quickly asked )

He looked at me

Jung: I have some unfinished work ,,,

I just nod sadly ..he got out of the car I don't know why I felt so insecure ...I felt a deep longing twitching in my heart.

I was dropped at our house . I felt so tired that I headed straight into my room lucky my mom wasn't home.

I went to slip in my blankets without changing into pyjamas . Something about Jung and miss Ling was worrying me a lot. On the other hand it felt as if when I had a one night stand with Jung , deep love started budding from within me . Sudden love was now engraved in my heart leaping just for him. All of this was now becoming so confusing.

I kept on turning and tossing like crazy ....I sat upright on my bed ...what's happening to me God . I heard a loud scream coming from the outside. It was like a woman voice she was wailing in agony.

I rushed outside the house with a torch as it was so fucken dark. That's when I noticed a woman sprawled on the ground bleeding there was a man in black holding a knife looking down on the woman. I quickly hid behind a tree . My whole body turned sodden with sweat. I trembled when the man suddenly turned around he was hiding his face in a black hood. I recognized him to be that stranger who I met with Lucas on our first day . He is the man who took Lucas to our place .

Suddenly the guy crouched looking at the body

Him: what a waste of blood....( he said eyeing the woman bleeding neck he just slitted with the knife . Her felt a sudden strong urge to drink the blood. He couldn't help it though he knew two scared pares of eyes were watching him from behind a tree)

The strangers voice sounded so deep and robotic I covered my mouth when I found him bending down as if he wanted to kiss her ...he remained like that for about ten minutes. When he stood up he had his hands outstretched to the sky ....his body started blazing a red colour ...

Tears of fear started brimmed in my eyes . My breathing became heavy I couldn't control it. Where are you Lucas ....this monster is worst than you .

My eyes widened open feeling exposed as the man turned yo my direction . I felt like he was looking at me . I dropped the torch foolish me all the while I didn't realise the torch was on and it's clear he had noticed me from the beginning.

Without thinking I found myself running away ...I stopped when I saw the one I was running away from waiting for me at the doorstep of our house .

I quickly turned away ready to escape I fall in Jung's strong arms .

Me: save me ...monster ....m..m...monster ( she cried hugging Jung so tightly...)

Jung: shush no one is here Ruyiy ....it's just us ....you must be imagining things ..look behind you

I looked behind there was no one ...I shifted my gaze to the ground I sawa dead woman there was a black sleeping dog.

Nooo I'm not going mad ...

I looked at Jung with questioning looks

Me: how did you get here ??? And what are you doing here ( she asked eyes full of suspicion)

Jung: should I leave then since I can't reply to you?? ( he asked his face turning hard again)

I wanted to say leave but my body did the action . I found myself hugging him like I didn't want to let him go .

Me: please stay ...

I felt so warm with him ...I pulled away looking into his eyes . I felt so intoxicated by his hugy

He suddenly bent down tilted his head I closed my eyes something so warm touched my lips
