I let out a sharp yell as I tightly squeezed my eyes together in pain . I heard a loud growl then footsteps of someone running away. I was forced to slowly open my eyes as I was still in pain . I saw the door swung open.... I slowly stood up to see that stranger on my bed lying peacefully . I looked at the door and quickly ran to shut it and took a deep sigh of relief . Thank God mom didn't see this . I can't believe that random guy dropped this demon here!!! How did he know this is the place I stay and how dare he take him to my bed . I fumed silently eyes blazing with anger . I wonder what mad that oldie scream like that .

I looked back to the bed looking at the godlike handsome face . Wait did I just say godlike get a grip of yourself you can't afford to crush on anyone now. My eyes betrayed me as they travelled down to his well proportioned chiseled chest and down to his abs the sexiest I've never seen not that I've seen much but every other guy I've seen on TV and commercials paled in comparison to him . That's when I drifted my thought to the hot stranger I slept with . I gulped averting my eyes away from him . Painfully he made me recall about the guy who I submitted myself to ..the one who awakened my demonic side , who made throw all the rules out of the window , who made my heart skip for the first time .

My heart started aching . How I wish to meet with him again. My mom started banging the door with so much force that it got me terrified . I can't open the door right now. I said thoughtfully as thousands of thoughts twirled my head to hide the man in my bed .

Mom: Ruyi what are you doing there!!! FeiFei is waiting for you outside

Me: F_FeiFei she is here oh God ( she said hands rushing in her hair as she started pacing. )

What do I do???

Mom: what are you sayingy

Me: I'm coming!! ( she said quickly )

I looked at that stranger searching for wounds to my surprise he didn't look like someone whose head got hit on a metallic table. He was clean and there was no spots of blood. "Who cleaned him" I said thoughtfully as I scanned his body even his clothes were changed .

Me: take care don't let anyone see you,,, ( she whispered before turning away)

I opened the door and stood there peeping to check if my mother was hiding thankfully she wasn't I walked and locked the door. I rushed outside and found FeiFei in her car I got inside . A minute passed in an awkward silence . I was scared to start a conversation after what I did. I inhaled and exhaled to muster the courage . I looked at wanting to cry already

Me: I'm sorry FeiFei_ next time I will be more careful,,

FeiFei: there will be no other next time if you thinking you will get a chance to offer yourself to another man. ( she replied with an acidic tone)

I shrieked back in fear . When she gets angry she looked like tigress.

Me: did you sleep well ( she said lost in words to break the blanket of silence

FeiFei: we aren't good yet ...I'm here as your manager Ruyi ...and you got replaced in your knew drama you were supposed to be shooting " the weird princess ....," it was going to change your life but ( she paused taking a deep sigh of pain) the investor says he doesn't like you

Me: what do you mean?? I _ we signed the contract didn't we?? And when we had an audition they said they liked me and I was good for the character how is that possible they just change ...I have to meet with the investors ..I.. I can't let this happen ( she said shaking clearly confused with everything that was happening around her. )

FeiFei: just let it be it has been finalised,

Me: no I can't!,, this was the only project that my life was depending on_ you know this more than anyone FeiFei ( she said hot tears pricking her eyes)

FeiFei: I'm sorry it happens,, (, she said with a comforting tone)

Me: why it always happens to me no one else,, ( she said flatly looking intently at FeiFei for answers , she remained quite as she was just in shock like her)

I sighed when she didn't reply. I got out of the car , weakly I found my way to the front door of our house. I leaned on the walls for some minutes with my eyes tightly shut . Thoughts pounded my head I felt like I was going to burst out anytime. My heart sank when I heard my mom screaming on the phone like she always do . She might have been fighting with one of her boyfriends. I walked in I founding her sobbing on the couch like a little girl who got rejected by her first reaction. I walked to the couch wiping off my tears . I sat besides and rested her head on my lap and started caressing her head humming quietly for her to fall asleep. In no time she had dozed off. I covered her with a duvet and walked to the kitchen I cooked noodles. I ate some and left some for the stranger in my room .

When I walked in the room was surprised to see him sitting his head rested on the headboard he looked very lost his big brown were hostile , his face ashen, suddenly his gaze fall on me my heart started beating wildly . With his cold icy daggers on me I could feel like my course of life was on the edge and one wrong move would change my life to complete darkness.

" why he is looking at me like that " (she said quietly as the godlike creature kept his daggers fixated on her)

I tried to avert my eyes away looking side ways but that's wasn't helping we were just alone . After a long awkward silence I decided to make a brave move . I slowly walked towards the bed , head slightly down , the hand which was holding the bowel of noodles was shaking uncontrollably .

Me: I_I_ I cooked this wonder If you can eat ....( she stuttered with a shaky voice feeling embarrassed with herself )

He didn't reply or change his facial expression he looked disturbed and bothered . I could see his eyes telling a story I couldn't understand. I noticed his hands were bandaged that's when I sat at the edge of the bed and tried to feed him at first he refused.

Me: you have to eat otherwise you won't heal,, ( she said with a motherly tone, Lucas obliged quietly)

He ate all the noodles I gave him a glass of cold water he drank it . Did he turn mute so far he didn't say a sentence even talking in my head .

Me: What is your name stranger???( she asked with a tremble)

He was hard to approach ,

Him: I'm Lucas,

His voice was masculine something you would prefer to listen to all day .

Me: hmm, so about last night who were those men hunting you and why did you drag me into this?? ( she questioned softly her though she looked confused)

He looked down without answering.

Me: fine if you not ready to talk ....I will wait till you are ready .....

I turned around to leave when Lucas stopped me

Lucas: thank you Ruyi for saving my life,

Me: I had no choice after all you threatened me, ( she said unconsciously then shut her mouth remembering he wasn't an ordinary guy) I mean my pleasure sir ,

I gave him a respective bow
