He just gave me a cold glare that made me shudder with fear . Why is he so cold like a statue . Time seemed to might have slowed down a bit I didn't understand why my heart was immediately beating so wildly . I looked into his unfathomable eyes suddenly I felt as if I was being sucked by a certain force of gravity coming from his eyes forcing me keep my eyes fixated on his . I didn't understand why I suddenly ended up in this kind situation . I could now feel the tremendously tormenting aura coming from him I tried hard not to breath I felt as if something was building up in my chest that it tightened

Voice: Ruyi!!!!!!! ( a voice shouted from the door breaking the spell between them she quickly looked at the door with a panicking look)

FeiFei is still here if she sees him how will I explain this to her . I turned to look where Lucas was he was already gone . it looked like he was never there . I blinked more than twice thinking it was my own hallucinations. Suddenly she just barged in my whole body was trembling I swear my clothes were sodden with sweat . She suddenly hauled me to her almost suffocating me .

Me: y...you breaking my bones Feifei ...( she stuttered at Feifei who loosened her arms a bit she looked so excited ) why are you so happy?? ( she questioned)

Feifei: I think the sky is now smiling on us.. You were invited to the Grammy awards and you are going to perform in front big people ( she said with twinkling eyes)

She pulled back looking into my eyes I've never seen her eyes glimmering like stars before . I was still in shock so I couldn't understand any of what she meant.

Me: what do you mean by saying the sky is smiling on us when I just lost my project??( she said with a sad confused tone , already eyes brimming with unshed tears)

Feifei cupped my cheeks the corner of her lips cracked as a soft smile brightened on her face it looked she just received the news that Jesus was on our doorstep .

Feifei: I'm trying to say you were given a chance to be known by the whole World and you have to use this opportunity with all you have ,,, you will be performing on the stage ....and guess what Ye Ling will be present ...the goddess .... Just think about it performing in front of her

My eyes widened opened the next we screamed like crazy school girls who just received a love proposal from their crushes . We hugged each other and kissed each other cheeks like little monkey's . I' never remember screaming with true happiness from deep cores of me . I only remember screaming like a mad girl because of my consistency bad luck . Finally I was going to meet my dream goddess' Ye Ling . Just whispering her name I felt as if morning breeze just caressed my little heart making it lean backwards . Everything was forgotten in an instant . I shuffled to the bathroom . I bathed singing joyously maybe she will change my bad luck to something else . Oh god I love this woman .

When I walked out Feifei was busy choosing clothes for me to wear . She picked an emerald velvet dress I tried it woow it clasped my body as if it was just made for it . I looked at myself at the mirror I looked like the goddess of seduction I felt so exposed as it revealed my body structure. I had a small waist but with wide hips . Feifei did my make up my lips were crimson with the lipstick she applied light make up on my face . I really looked different that I even failed to recognize myself with a first glance.

Feifei: you look much like Ye Ling ( she said with admiration )

Me: she is my idol so I will take that as a compliment ( she said with a giggle)

Feifei: if you always dressed like this those two peacocks wouldn't have been mocking like they always do ( she said helping Ruyi with her heels , )

I sighed deeply as she just reminded me of Yang Juyi and Zhang Lusi . These two evil cats always behaved as if I was their past enemy or we have a blood feud . They managed to leave me secluded from everyone at our Company spreading venomous rumours that I was a witch . I didn't know were they gathered such awful and disgusting rumours . Only Feifei was my best friend as my manager everyone at our Company hated me for no reasons .

Me: it's not their fault everyone just hates me I was born unlucky ,,( she said with an injured look , Fei get hold of both her hands )

I lifted up my face to look at her she was my only life jacket and pillar when I was down or at my lowest she always gave me a reason to live as she always shows me that no matter how long the night takes the day will somehow come . No matter how dark the tunnel is there is always a way to come out of it . She taught me self love that I never had for myself . I knew just looking into her eyes will wipe away all the negative thoughts conjured in my little head .

Feifei: I told you to never blame yourself because you are being bullied ....they are the ones who are unlucky if they ignore such a pure hearted sweet girl like you ...

I smiled blushing discreetly ,

Me: don't say that ,,,,

She laughed letting go off my hands ,

Feifei: it's okay I understand you aren't used to hear such words but I will fill and shower your world with them ,,, time to set off girl ,,

I nod with a smile , we shuffled out of the room . I found my mom standing at the doorway her arms crossed on the chest . She was fuming .

Mom: Ruyi for the last time I'm going to ask you who you listen to between Feifei and I?? (,she said giving Ruyi a blackmailing look making her turn into a blank slate unable to choose between the two of them )

Why I'm always in such situations ?? Feifei and my mother disliked each other as if they have snatched each others men.

Feifei patted my shoulder

Feifei: babe don't listen to this wrenched woman she will spoil our moods

Me: how can you say something like that to my mother (, she whispered trying to shut Feifei)

Mom: you see she never respects me ...

Feifei pulled mom out of the way and slipped her hand in mine leading me out of the way . I tried to stop her but she gave me a deaf ear . I was hurt hearing my mom sharp voice echoing in my ears as she cursed me. When we got in the car ten passed and there was a blanket of silence . Later Feifei cleared her throat and sighed with her eyes closed .

Feifei: look I'm sorry but I can't tolerate how your mother treats you ....I..

Me: promise me never to shout at her please ( she said pleading looking intently into her eyes)

Feifei: I can't promise this ( she said averting her eyes away from Ruyi)

Me: please sis Feifei for my sake( she begged )

Feifei: fine !( she said with a defeated tone)

I smiled

Me: thank you for understanding,,,

She didn't reply she started driving . I closed my eyes I was a bit nervous of meeting up with big stars and performing on the stage . I had already planned to sing . I loved singing whenever I was in some sort of pain I would sing and it would make me feel better . I just hope everything will go well just for today .

The sole reason I was scared to death is how I was going to be treated by other actors . I kept on inhaling and exhaling all the way .Calm down Ruyi everything will be fine don't worry! My heart was going boom boom like never before .

Feifei: before I forgot that stranger left me a letter ,,,,, strange... he only said "thanks for saving my life"

Me: oh!!

When did he left the letter ??? He has anomaly behavior ! What kind of human is here . I pondered on it till my head started hurting I shoved it away . I closed my eyes and by accident I fell asleep . I was woken up by a soft pat on my cheek .

I woke up with a startle

Fei: wake up we here ....

I stretched myself as we got out of the car . My heart stopped seeing another car dropping by Yang Juyi and Zhang Lusi get out of the car they were both wearing red gowns they shot sharp daggers at me as they walked past me . I swallowed hard looking down. It seems like I'm dead meat . We walked into the hall , I separated with Feifei as she had some things to attend to .

I looked around to see if there a vacant seat . I found one on the upfront it was besides the male god our senior actor Jackson Wang . He was one of the top five handsome guys in the acting industry . I walked there like a student amongst teachers and sat besides .

Me: h...Hie I'm Ruyi ...

He didn't even look up at me he just said "nice to meet you" Suddenly everyone stood up everything turned quit . I stood up to see what was going on to see Ye Ling walking in guarded by five men her manager was besides her . I swear I almost fainted looking at her waving her hands at everyone she looked so beautiful more than in the magazines TV shows or posters . She had her long wavy chocolate hair left hanging down her shoulders . She looked an Angel descending from the sky when she smiled showing her perfect white lined teeth .

I felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach . Why is she so gorgeous . I said faintly looking at her with tears . My idol.. My poor heart I closed my eyes etching her face in my head Ye Ling why you saw beautiful. I don't know what got to me I ran and froze in front of her . Her guards get hold of both my hands

Me: I ...I ..just want an autograph ...please ( she begged trying to fight her way to get to her idol who was surrounded by some journalist , ) Ye Ling!!!!!! ( she shouting her name catching Ye Ling attention)

Ye Ling was busy talking with some journalists she looked at me and at the men who were holding me ..

Ye Ling: let her go ( she said walking towards Ruyi who was already smiling with stars in her eyes )

The way she moved was so angelic ,

Ye Ling: you are ...( she questioned writing her name on Ruyi's palm)

Me: Ruyi I can't believe you are so real ( she said touching Ye Ling hands they were so smooth and soft )...I'm your best fan I've watched all of your dramas and movies you so multi _talented ...( she said non stop her chest heaving as she just regained her consciousness.)

Ye Ling: I really appreciate your support , ( she said with a soft smile)

She smiled for the last time passing by Ruyi who was still rooted to the ground eyes burning after her , suddenly she was pushed to the floor she let out a yell looking at Lusi and Juyi who both chorused " oops we didn't see you"

A tear dropped from my eye as Lusi dropped her glass of red wine on me making the wine stain my dress . I could hear laughter from the crowds .

Voice: stop !! ( everyone in the wall looked around to see Ye Ling giving those two cats disgusting looks. It was crystal clear she didn't like the way they treated Ruyi)

I looked up to see Ye Ling , her eyes were flooded with fury looking at Lusi and Juyi . They quickly turned around looking surprised . Ye Ling helped me up

Ye Ling: is this how actors treats each other??? What kind of humanity this is ! Both of you apologize or I will strip you naked from your positions

Lusi and Juyi gave me a razor look before apologizing . I could see they were going to settle down the cost anytime soon with me . It wasn't over

The camera's were all on us . Both apologized but were removed from both the guest list and also the from the list of the people who were going to win the Grammy awards . Ye Ling held my hand and led me to where important guests high rated actors were . She asked me to sit with her .

Me: I.. I can't only big stars sits here ( she said feeling awkward)

Ling: I'm sorry about that ,,,, ( she apologized)

Me: I..it's really not your fault ( she stuttered her gaze down casted )

Ye Ling : I didn't know actors bully each other ...you are too quite you should punched them on their puffy faces ( she said clenching fists , )

I laughed at her expression ..I didn't know big stars are also funny... She joined me

Me: you so cute miss,,( she said with admiration)

Ye Ling: you don't know the monster behind the cute face ( she said jokingly )

She was so sweet and humble . We all fell quite as Mr Lee who was a famous director as he made a speech and finally started calling out the names of people who were going to participate . I was shocked to hear my name on the first of the list . At first no one clapped hands for me ....Ye Ling stood up clapping her hands everyone stood up after her .

Ye Ling: go and lit the stage on fire ( she screamed encouragingly as Ruyi walked up the big stage
