Chapter 26: The First Elder revealed the truth

"Anyways, throughout our time I and the other Elders have always kept an eye out for this child. We even spied among other enemy Kingdoms. Looking out for any Princess born with these unusual traits but none were ever born. After some time we dismissed it as only a legend and considered it, as nothing of real knowledge to worry about."

My Grandfather Phil took over talking. "When you were about one hundred and twenty-five years old. I got a call about a baby girl born in our Kingdom from the Maternity Bio Factory. She was born with the same described birthmark and her blood was darker when getting her bloodwork tested for talent. Like the description, our Elders read about from long before. I went to see the infant myself."

Sighing he folded his hands on top of the table. "Whether if you remember, I brought the baby girl back, handing her to your mother. To take care of her for the time being. Up until we knew what we were dealing with." Said Grandfather Phil, with guilt in his eyes.

"I remember seeing the infant with my mother and taking portraits with her." Slightly annoyed, I mentioned.

Elder nodded and then continued to say. "But one day in the nursery. We had a break-in and all the infants were taken. If you remember that break-in?" He asked.

"Indeed, I remember." I noddingly stated.

"The infant after that was never found again." Sighing the Elder added.

Then I said in a cold tone, "why wasn't I ever told about this?"

Grandfather replied, noticing his grandson's face is getting angry. "Because you were a graduated swot teenager and under your father's authority. It didn't concern you at the time. Plus we only had the baby for a short time after her birth. But we looked for her and knew she could easily be identified. By these three tiny diamond shape like stars, looking like birthmarks on her neck. Close behind the ear on her right side but we never found her. We didn't even know if she had survived. But we found the other missing infants, just never her."

"Which I also forgot to add. That birthmark of the stars on her neck is another description of the legend. Anybody could use that birthmark to identify her." The first Elder quickly added.

Taking in a few breaths to control my anger. "Did she ever have a name?" I asked.

"Yes, your mother called her Sally," replied Grandfather.

After some silence to see me and my Primary friends were thinking.

With a more stressful tone, the First Elder said. "Cory! If this woman is who you say. This is of great importance. She is the Grand Duchess Queen of all Queens. She is the key to full Immortality more similar to the creatures compared to us, Hybrid men. Yet, there is still so much of the legend that didn't make sense to us."

"If this was of such importance." Annoyed, I asked. "Why wasn't anyone told about it?"

First Elder said, "because not too many of our Kind know of this information. Some of our older enemies knew of the legend but also didn't believe it. Everyone dismissed it and marked it as only a silly story written by a woman who was an ancestor long before anyone's timing. Which we research and confirmed. A woman from the ancestor's times wrote it long before. During a time when their Kind were only mortals. But now since you found her again. We must keep this girl safe and she must not know the truth about whom she is."

Still seeing his grandson's flustered face. "Cory. It is now time that we should share with you this furthermore important truth we had planned for you." Grandfather said.

"What might that be?" I asked exhaling more.

Grandfather Phil replied."You are the one we were choosing for her to marry. This was why we gave her to your mother. Born in your generation and in our Kingdom. We knew you were training hard and your scoring was surpassing my own. Therefore, we've known you were meant to be the next Primary King. You were the only one gaining strength power surpassing your cousins. Your strength was maxing out past our records strength. When we were once your age training. It was only the right thing to do with making sure she'd be your wife. As your wife, her rights will diminish in some forms and she'll rule under you."

"Well, I think we found the missing unknown lost Queen from our Kingdom," I said huffing.

With stress, the First Elder said. "Beware, this could be the start of a huge war because other Primary Kings and Barons will want to take her for themselves. It could be the biggest war we've ever known to come throughout our history. Once her discovery is known about her existence, is deemed to be true. Our enemies will try and take her. I can't stress this enough and must ask you to please consider taking her as your bride. Especially, before she learns the truth about herself. For now, the more she is kept in the dark from knowing the truth. The better control we have over her will benefit us. It's a given fact we don't know enough about her hidden unknown strength power."

I looked at him unsure of what to say. Over the fact, marriage was a tricky topic for me, because I swore off any close attachments like love. Yet, at the same time, I also needed to have sons someday. Thanks to my two Uncles my Grandfather. Has forbidden à Royal to use a female servant or slave to be a donor to carry your offspring.

At the same I am being drawn to this hybrid-woman, I've claimed. Since JJ helped me to realize I am connecting a bond to her. However, I now have a better understanding of why I connected to her so easily. Now that I remember her from infancy.

My mind is filled with many frustrations because of this hidden secret. I've kept to myself involving around this woman since she was an infant. Now it makes more sense as to why Beast behaved oddly that day I had a meeting with Saul, her old Master. Of course, I am not going to share this with my family. Especially about my bond connection.

To see his grandson's conflicting silence. "Cory, I know you've considered Rachel to be your chosen bride. However, she's never been the one for you. Sally was the girl we would've had you marry from before. Being Primary King and outa your father's authority, none of us can force a rearranged marriage on you now. But I must ask of you to please consider what is best for your Kingdom. We could lose our Highest place if you don't choose wisely at this point." Grandfather stressed.

"Have I debated marrying Rachel? Yes. But will I marry her? No. However, I will keep Sally close to me and think about what best decision should be made. Rather than make any irrational decision." I said making aspects clear to my Royal family.

"I feel that would be wise to let your mind think about what would be best. Maybe spend your time with this woman and see how well you can get to know each other." First Elder suggested.

I nodded in agreement. "She is marked as a slave what should we do about this?"

"Nothing until you decide on what you want to do," Grandfather said emotionlessly.

As I noted my Primary friends smirking. "What are your opinions?" I asked them.
